  1. lol, you recommend us to update to a patch which we all have anyway! we have to have it to use LCPDFR.
  2. You definatley won't need an extra 8GB of ram for gaming. The processor and GPU are good though if you can save up the extra cash get the GTX 560 TI. It's a load better. I have 8GB of ram and during the benchmarks GTA only uses 47% of it.
  3. I suppose I was exaggerating when I said $1500, but you certainly won't for $300. Sorry Kiddo
  4. Sorry, but those two things just don't come together.
  5. Go to this website: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx Search Grand Theft Auto: IV, it will tell you what you need to upgrade....
  6. Yeah for about $1500 lol I'm just going to say that GTA is a very badly optimized game that was made from a console version into a pc version. It requires a good CPU and a Graphics Card. Even the best gaming computers sometimes struggle with GTA.
  7. You could get a pretty good card for that... Do you know what wattage your power supply is? Forget the above, just looked at your specs above and it says 300W. You are going to have to upgrade your psu to a minimum of 600W which will require a bit of experience and $70. Make sure that you buy a good branded psu not a cheapo as it's more likely to blow up than power anything. Then for the graphics card. I currently have a MSI GTX 560 TI Twin Frozr II/OC which cost me around $295 So, to get a decent card you will probably have to save up some more money before hand. Although i would suggest researching for the best card for your budget as some cost a lot of money for a not so good performance. I hope the above has answered any questions you may have, feel free to PM me or just update this thread...
  8. You're going to need a fair bit of money for starters. How much money do you currently have?

  10. Please update your patch to 1.0.7.0, link is in my signature. Next time, please read the stickys!
  11. I know, imagine if it had been done properly though!
  12. In reply to penguin, My first personal build was about four years ago and had a Athlon 64 x2 as well :D, I upgraded to a Phenom II X4 960T last week as well as a MSI GeForce 560TI and it's a massive improvement. I suppose that it's probably because i just doubled my CPU cores and improved my graphics from a Radeon HD 26000 512MB lol.
  13. I currently run a AMD Phenom II X4 960T and a MSI GeForce 560Ti Twin Frozer II/OC and it runs pretty well. If you want a AMD processor for GTA i would suggest no lower than a Phenom II X4. It costs $168 Canadian dollars (
  14. wow, never realised you could do that with TeamSpeak, have to look into that further.
  15. Yeah just mod the slots such as "FBI" and "NOOSE" that way you won't crash, at one point i could play for hours on end with those two slots modded and it was on my crappy asus laptop!
  16. I don't crash either, i have 1 car mod installed into the "FBI" slot.
  17. Cheers man. I'm good with every other part of computing except graphics cards lol.
  18. Sorry Break. do you mind merging this and the thread below for me? Cheers, and again, sorry
  19. Hi Guys, What do you think of this graphics card? do you think it will run new games such as GTA, BattleField 3 and Black Ops on High Settings? Link:http://www.cclonline.com/product/63284/01G-P3-1567-KR/Graphics-Cards/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-560-Ti-DS-1024MB-Graphics-Card/VGA0328/ Cheers!
