You really can't upgrade a laptop to gain any real benefits for a decent cost. Your going to be spending so much money for a very minimal upgrade.

I think this is a known bug.....

Re-install LCPDFR as it will automatically install the required one for LCPDFR. Make sure you do NOT select "xliveless.dll" during the installer. Leave everything as it is and do not tick any more boxes.

You can make the game private you know. Set the private slots to "MAX"...

Go into your gta directory, typically "C:Program FilesGrand Theft Auto IV "C:Program FilesEFLC Look for two files, "dsound.dll" and "xlive.dll" if one is present, that is fine. If both are present delete "xlive.dll" and if none are present re-install LCPDFR.

Just backup any files that you replace and you'll be fine.

Hmmm... I was wondering if you uninstall GTA IV, then delete the directory and then create it yourself. Your then the owner of the folder and hopefully that will mean that you won't have any problems applying attributes.

After updating your patch, Run the installer as admin and remove the read-only properties from your GTA IV folder.

Download 1.0.7.0 from my signature. It's cool, I download it every now and then to check it hasn't changed...

It's a .zip so it would not be possible to run without saving it first.

Are you using the xliveless.dll? If not sure, head to your GTA IV folder and look for a file named "Xlive.dll".....
