  1. Only for the keyboard mapping, not the controller.
  2. I tried to use my official wired xbox 360 controller with my PC earlier and it works fine, however I want to use xpadder so I can custom map the keys, so I can call in backup, arrest etc using the buttons. I Installed xpadder and it's working fine. The only problem is that because it is a official controller GTA uses its own mapping and xpadder uses another so when I go to shoot by pressing the right trigger, xpadder makes me shoot, however Niko, takes cover, because that is the GTA setting. Is there anyway to stop GTA from recognizing my xbox controller? I hope that makes sense.
  3. I know where to get a photo of each car in the game, here's some of them. http://media.gtanet.com/gta4/images/vehicles/FORTUNE.jpg http://media.gtanet.com/gta4/images/vehicles/BOXVILLE.jpg http://media.gtanet.com/gta4/images/vehicles/BIFF.jpg http://media.gtanet.com/gta4/images/vehicles/BENSON.jpg http://media.gtanet.com/gta4/images/vehicles/AMBULANCE.jpg http://media.gtanet.com/gta4/images/vehicles/AIRTUG.jpg http://media.gtanet.com/gta4/images/vehicles/ADMIRAL.jpg If you need the link to the site, give me a shout.
  4. After putting in the disk, did you press "Next", "OK" or "Continue" (Can't remember which button it is) ??
  5. Looking at your log, you have one or more dependencies missing. Install both of these, even if you think you already have them try anyway as people often have the wrong version: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=0a391abd-25c1-4fc0-919f-b21f31ab88b7 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-4d3a-a423-37bf0912db84&displaylang=en
  6. It basically reloads the car at a high rate, changing the colors of the lightbars as it does so.
  7. If you record to a seperate Hard Drive, then the lag is minimal.
  8. That would be immense.
  9. There are plans for a FDLC mod by a member here called Anti, though the project seems to be falling apart by the minute. Official Thread:
  10. Complete the first mission, up to the bit where you are in Roman's house, then save and then play LCPDFR. Don't save once you are duty though.
  11. Sorry but that isn't true. It doesn't matter where the diagnostics tool is placed.
  12. During the LCPDFR installer, do you change the install directory to the steamapps location of your GTA IV install?
  13. Should be fine, the C++ will install fine wherever it is placed.
  14. Try re-installing LCPDFR. That should fix any corrupt files.
  15. Hmmm..... It's strongly discouraged to save whilst on duty as it can produce all sorts of errors. You may wish to remove your gamesave temporarily and see if the problem persists.
  16. Are you playing the actual GTA campaign missions?
  17. not if you install the correct handling line. You can have whatever car you want as long as you install the appropriate handling line.
  18. Ah, Ok... That's cool. Thanks.
  19. Do not thread hijack, instead, please create your own topic in the support forum.
  20. No, it needs to be installed separate to GTA and not just placed in the folder. Download this, and once it has finished just double click it and follow the on-screen instructions.
  21. Yes, He's right, it isn't possible I'm afraid.
  22. You may wish to remove that link now that the OP has had it before the moderators have your head. We're not allowed to share original files here. Just a heads up.
  23. lol, I agree. Asuna, could you post a screenshot??
