May I make a suggestion? You could change the logo in the title bar. Click the background and in the right pane there is a option to change it. Possibly perhaps a LCPD logo? If you need a hand with any of the coding, give us a shout.

You can press ALT+F11 to force a callout. To uninstall- Head to your grand theft auto IV folder, open the "Scripts" folder, then delete the "LCPDFR" folder, both the "First Response" files.

Instead of modding regularly spawned vehicles such as "Police" or "police2", mod cars such as "noose" or "fbi" Even those these still spawn they are not as common and therefore less likely to crash your game. Also open the ELS.ini and disable AI SP. This means that only your car will have working lights and other cars driven by the AI will not. This will usually solve the crashing as well.

Please use the search feature on the site before posting, this issue has been solved many times before. Make sure your GTA directories are not readonly, especially the COMMON/DATA folder. Also ensure you are running the installer as a administrator

Ah, that's good. That would have been a killer loosing your coursework...... That happened to me about a year ago. I was about 4 months through a training course when my house was burgled and my external hard drive (which had all my backups on) and the PC both got stolen. Most stressful time of my life. Now I have a WiFi network drive hidden away which I send all my work to when complete.

I know it's no use now, but you could have copied your profile to a external backup drive through CMD minus the mp3 obviously, and then do whatever is needed from there.
