  1. Could you not use reputation, combined with account age to loosen the limits? I.e. accounts over 12 months old with at least 300 rep?
  2. Deleting that file will stop certain mods from working. That's not a fix. The fix to the problem you were having is to run the game as admin. (Right click > Run as Administrator), not to just delete the file.
  3. Nah, I've seen this before too. Usually, I'll finish a shootout, and all the backup units drive away. Then, as I'm getting in my car to leave, a cruiser will pull up and two officers will get out. they'll look around the scene before getting back in and driving off again. It's not backup because they don't run over to a specific location with their weapons drawn. They walk over casually with their weapons holstered and literally have a look around.
  4. Do you have the same problem with other models such as the fbi agents?
  5. What model is the bodyguard and what vehicle are you trying to get them to enter?
  6. Take a look at websites such as G2A.com, it's like $30.
  7. If that's what was fired, then I completely agree self defense was justified. I thought he meant a bb pistol since I've never seen what was in that video before. That most definetely looks and sounds like a real gun. Can understand the response completely now.
  8. AFAIK, one of the main things you are taught when being trained in the use of firearms is situational awareness, i.e. knowing what's around you and who will be hit if you fire your weapon. The officer had no idea what was behind that door, there could've been a toddler or a young infant for all they knew. Plus, a gas pistol doesn't make anywhere near as much noise as a real pistol. It's most definitely clear that it's not a real gun. The officer should have simply backed up, and called for tactical. Firing blindly through an apartment door is not an appropriate response here. Sure, the idiot in the apartment shouldn't have shot round the door with his gas pistol, but the police are supposed to be the ones who de-escalate situations and resolve them with the best outcome, something they certainly didn't do here. Both were at fault, but especially the cop who thought it was a good idea to discharge his weapon blindly into an apartment without thinking.
  9. Can't see why this is needed tbh. The forum seems to run nice and smoothly with the way things are already. Adding features like this could open things up for potential abuse and the cons would certainly outweigh the pros.
  10. Yeah, I have this problem all the time. Especially if I try and call for extra backup when I've got an outstanding warrant and I select the unit I want....
  11. Do you want to simply remove the weapon or do you want to create a pickup once dropped?
  12. Updated my post, thanks for the heads up.
  13. Brussels attacks: Airport bombing suspect 'arrested' Brussels attacks: Media quash reports of Laachraoui arrest http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-35879236
  14. Only thing it mentions is other mods though...
  15. No, that's certainly not the case. Daesh are terrorist radicals, I for one, do not blame the muslim religion, I blame the horrible people who are brainwashing others to commit murder for their cause using the name of Allah as a guise. Having said that, let's keep this particular topic on to the Brussels attack. I'd be happy to talk over PM or if you like, in another thread about this.
  16. Funny how you criticise other people for not doing something simple, and then do the same thing yourself... Why not look in the development section of the downloads, "its not that hard, try it next time before coming to LSPDFR and starting a discussion" http://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/dev-resources/lightbars/
  17. Please stay safe out there. Mad respect for you going back despite being on leave.
  18. I can promise you that what you are viewing are false positives... Plus, you're both using Windows Defender. Please try some real anti virus before screaming bloody murder. Please view the results from VirusTotal here: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/245e7b9ad95037b38efc4d368aae39a9e9919b3fb0f09861b9b455c5b4fcaf9e/analysis/1458647088/ Not a single service out of 56 flags my file as a virus. If you don't believe me, upload your copy of the file yourself and see the results.
  19. Have you got GTA V running? Try rebooting your PC and trying again.
  20. Not sure transporting officers to and from the station along the same route and time every day would be a good idea. It would make them vulnerable to anyone who wanted to take out lots of cops at once....
  21. That's not possible. Please provide proof that it came from my plugin when making such accusations.
  22. "Behave as if they know everything".... I know the difference between a workaround and a fix because I work in software/web development. I do not claim to know everything, because I'm certainly not that stupid. If you find my knowledge irritating, then I sincerely do apologise, but that's your problem and not mine. Good day to you.
  23. No, that's a workaround, not a fix. A fix would solve the problem without reduced functionality. A workaround solves the problem temporarily, often at the expense of something else.
  24. The LSPDFR file has over 900,000 downloads, and I have not seen any evidence or genuine reports of malware within either LSPDFR or RPH. you've got nothing to worry about.
