[CALLING ALL DEVS] Standardisation of API Plugin Colors
I have just updated the list to include the various Drawing.Color.<color> aspects for extra clarity. I've updated the list to make it Lime. Please see the original post and let me know what you think of the color codes now.

That would definitely make sense, I'll add that in now. I've also added the sizes in too.

[CALLING ALL DEVS] Standardisation of API Plugin Colors
@goigle and @LukeD, I've thought about the route colours and I definitely agree on yellow being the better choice. Could you guys do me a favour and grab me the hex codes for the colours you use so we can ensure devs use the exact same colour please?

[CALLING ALL DEVS] Standardisation of API Plugin Colors
Okay, so following onto my previous thread, I, along with the other devs on LSPDFR are going to create a standardised list of colors for use on blips and routes in LSPDFR API development. Devs, if you have a scenario that isn't covered by the list, please post below and I'll add it in. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please also post. GPS BLIPS AND RADAR COLOURS BLIP SIZES Blips sizing should be as follows: Vehicles: 1.0 Peds: 0.75 PEDS + VEHICLE BLIPS ZONES Primary search areas (prior to accepting a callout) (Drawing.Color.Yellow) ROUTES All routes should be Yellow (Drawing.Color.Yellow) NOTIFICATIONS, HELP PROMPTS AND SUBTITLES Ensure that all blips are the same colour as they are when highlighted in any on screen text. For example, suspects are red, and should be highlighted in text as red too. Minimal colour should be used within on-screen text. Color should only be used to highlight key information or to highlight the colour of a particular person or object on the map. Examples: Exactly the same should apply to subtitles at the bottom of the screen. Use color to only highlight the key information. As plugins get updated to follow the above, we'll have a much more immersive plugin system that doesn't have strangely mismatched colours. @fiskey111, @Albo1125, @Straysify, @Stealth22, @alexguirre, @goigle, @Trinyx, @Darkmyre, @TitanSloth, @Patrinus, @w35, @DemNinjas, @LukeD, @Nutt, @Livia, @Luigi4518, @TheUniT, @Athsro @FinKone, @DCP1293

Could we get some uniformity across colours used in callouts?
Exactly, we just need to agree on what colours to use for what, and then create a topic with it in for devs to consult when choosing colours. I'll send that PM now. EDIT: It's limiting me to a max of 5 recipients at once. I'll create a new thread instead and tag the various devs in instead.

In that case, I'll get a group chat with the main devs so we can throw some ideas around. Then, we can write it up formally.... What do you guys think?

Could we get some uniformity across colours used in callouts?
Of course, but some custom spawned players by scripts aren't necessarily managed by LSPDFR and so will have a custom colour. For example, on the traffic stop assist callout.

Could we get some uniformity across colours used in callouts?
I've noticed recently that every colour in the rainbow is being used for various different callouts and peds on the map. I had the idea to try and standardise these colours to make it a bit more useful to the player. Something similar to this would be nice to see: RED PEDS: Violent/Unstable/Injured (i.e immediate attention) BLUE PEDS: Victims/Civilians (i.e. secondary attention, once red have been dealt with) GREEN PEDS: Witnesses (i.e. passive, can be ignored if not needed) YELLOW PEDS: Fellow Officers In terms of routes: RED ROUTES: Code 3/Emergency/Urgent Situations (Crime in progress / MVA / Shots Fired etc.) YELLOW ROUTES: Code 2/Less Urgent (Broken Down Vehicles etc.) GREEN ROUTES: Code 1/Non-Emergency (Welfare Checks etc.) Obviously this could be changed upon discussion. Please, devs and players, let me know what you think of this sort of scheme... I think the more people adopt this sort of thing, the more their plugins will blend and merge together.

Suggestion list for modders
I feel as though these kind of fall out of the scope of LSPDFR, but they're nice ideas. For the "guarding a VIP", check this plugin out: LSPS - Los Santos Protection Squad Check out Bank Callouts. Albo1125's Assorted Callouts also has a bank callout that you could respond to as SWAT. This callout also has specific callouts that only appear when you're swat: Agency Callouts There are also Terrorist style callouts in LawCallouts and Crazy Callouts

Plugin Automatic Updates and Shared Common Library
Damn, forgot about that. Maybe LGPL? It's been a while since I've done much licensing so I'll admit I'm a little rusty.

Plugin Automatic Updates and Shared Common Library
I suggest a strong copyleft license, such as GNU GPL V3 Basically means that any derivatives must also be open source but it removes liability for the authors..

[0.3✓] LSPDFR Panic Button Plugin
Okay, so of the 5,639 downloads, I've only had two reports of crashing before (yours included), and the other crash wasn't caused by my plugin and is therefore considered invalid. Please provide me with the details of the log, the actual actions leading up to the crash and your .ini file. Just saying that it's crashing does not help me, especially when this is the only crash report I've actually had out of 5,639 downloads...

Plugin Automatic Updates and Shared Common Library
Surely it's still possible to produce a common library that plugins use as a reference though, no?

[0.3✓] LSPDFR Panic Button Plugin
When you first go on duty, you will get a notification that says "You have a panic button equipped, press <key> + <key> to activate" By default, the keys are Ctrl + F11 but can be edited in the .ini file.

OPEN IV - patchday4ng dlc.rpf no access
I can appreciate that English may not be your first language, but the error is clearly stated. The best option, is to rename the file to something else... e.g "dlc.old.rpf", and then Verify your GTA files. (See Below:) On STEAM: On RETAIL:

How to use RemoveSpeedZone Method?
I believe that World.AddSpeedZone returns an integer, which you can then pass as a parameter to RemoveSpeedZone to specify it.

Suspect's Unpredictable Script
Shameless self promotion FTW!

City Protection
Nope, it's essentially a list of objects that can be spawned into the game using the map editor mod. You go into the map editor, load this mod, and it puts cameras in the street and police cars around the place. That's it.

Slow down the time scale/progression in game
Yes, as posted above, you can use Simple Native Trainer for GTA V. When I play, I sync my time to my system time, meaning you get realistic levels of light in game and a night shift actually stays night time throughout. Link: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-trainer-for-gtav

How exactly do I make a plugin, similar to a callout's base.process to where I can press a button at any time to perform an action?
You could make them static as opposed to private.

You can put as many as you like into the code, it will just spawn x many backup requests. You put it under: public class Main : Plugin {
