Darkmyre's Search Warrant is the #1 mod to use for ped and vehicle searches. There is a "Police Search" mod, but it has some issues and the author is not working on it anymore.

Vanilla carvariations are in update\update\x64\data. Do you have a mods folder? If yes, create this same path in your mods folder by clicking "edit mode" and press the button that says "create this path in the mods folder".

The mods folder is like a Lego block. By itself, it has nothing. The parts need to be added to make it something more. In English: You have to add the patchdays. Go into the vanilla patchday and click "edit mode", you will see a red warning box telling you that you're editing vanilla files. It will also give you the option to create this path in the mods folder. Do it. You will need to do this for each patchday you want.

While you can use a trainer to open the trunk, it's A LOT easier and convenient to have a plugin such as this. Looking forward to seeing how this plugin progresses! -

For the "disabled" portion, does that mean the plugin is disabled if they haven't edited it? -
A must have plugin!! I love the realism of it, especially if I'm on a domestic dispute or some other call. I also love that the car is even locked for me until I unlock it. Really awesome plugin!- 55 comments
