I'm not sure. A lot of people have been reporting crashes with the new SHV, and we're not sure what's the cause of it.

You'd have to talk to Albo about that, as Traffic Policer is his mod. Chances are, though, folks like Albo will be making mods for a long time.

I run a high-end gaming laptop and get a stable 75fps with a fully modded game, which includes graphics mods and an ENB.. I've never had overheating issues. Laptops may not be ideal for gaming, but if you get the right brand and spend the right price, you can get a good, stable rig.

With the CHP pack you linked, TheHurk has set it up in a unique way. I'd try and reinstall ELS if it's still not working for you.

Would you prefer if I trash your other topic and just leave this one here as an LSPDFR suggestion? I think an option that is beneficial, if possible, is to give you the option to choose if it automatically blips the siren. I know a lot of people who do both, sometimes let the game do it for them, and other times, upon turning on their lights and tagging a vehicle, will manually blip the siren on top of the automatic blip.

Alright, so the method I posted should work then.

but it does continually sound the horn? This means that ELS is working and is being registered, but for some reason is not working properly. Do this method for me again, please. Make sure you restart your computer, otherwise it won't work. In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works. If it still not working, please post the ASI log and ELS log files.

When in game, if you press and hold "E", what happens? Does the horn continuously sound, or do the lights and sirens come on?
