  1. It should, but I haven't updated it recently, and some people have complained that it causes performance drops. So no guarantees.
  2. As always, there's no point speculating over release dates. Especially with vehicle models, as other people are helping with those and I don't know their exact schedules. There's a lot of work left to do with the model, and also with the script to support it.
  3. You gravely underestimate the amount of time it takes to scratch model something. Maybe you will get lucky and someone will decide to pay $75 out-of-pocket to buy a model and then spend hours converting it. But it's unlikely.
  4. Have you purchased or are you planning to purchase the model?
  5. Acepilot2k7 will be playing coastal callouts beta, and I will be providing live commentary over audio!
  6. Development continues! A massive update just went out to beta testers, with more features and fixes than I can reasonably describe in one quick forum post. Here's a little preview of what's new: I fixed spawning of boats with the unlimited boundaries mod, now you can call for backup or spawn a callout anywhere on the unlimited massive oceans I got the add-on cargo boats working, and wrote a new, more challenging rescue mission involving a sinking ship Updated the copilot AI, now it flies at top speed when flying to destinations more than 500m away, and there's a menu option to slow it down if you want Added a menu toggle for the helicopter spotlight - still working on this, I've figured out how to make it aim at something, so I'll eventually have it track whatever ped/vehicle you might be following, but as of right now I'm having some issues with it still Fixed a ton of bugs and added a bunch of new features What I'm working on next: A function to deploy a marker - e.g. if you find the boat and need to come back to it later, or you find a ped to rescue but your helicopter is full, etc. This will let you drop a flare on the spot, and will leave a marker on your minimap Adding more detail to the new callout Making boat pursuit AI take advantage of the unlocked map boundaries, so fleeing boats have a chance of fleeing into the open seas New plane-related features Here are a few screenshots from the recent development: Also, I will be doing a live stream with @acepilot2k7 tonight at 6 PM Pacific/9 PM Eastern, taking a look at the new features. I will be joining the stream live over voice chat, and will have a drawing at the end of the stream for free beta access for one livestream viewer. Of course, you can also get beta access by joining the Parks Benefactor program at any time!
  7. @SuperStumpje has been creating the CustomBackup.xml files for RDE since the release of RDE 3.0. You can get the latest version of the XML file with the RDE download.
  8. I am excited to announce that PNWParksFan Modding and Coastal Callouts have been acquired by a private defense contractor, for use as a virtual reality military training simulator. As a part of this multi-million dollar acquisition agreement and related non-disclosure agreement, I will be required to remove all of my modifications from public access at midnight tonight. Government entities will be able to license the Coastal Emergency Simulator for $1000 per employee per year for training purposes, but the system will not be available to private individuals. For more information please see this press release from the Federal Operational Organization Liaison.
  9. They do exactly what the police normally do. If you get in a shootout, they'll shoot the suspect. If you get in a pursuit, they'll join the chase (unless you have automatic pursuit joining disabled). I haven't changed their behavior at all.
  10. If anybody truly finds the new date-related features intolerable, changing your date temporarily will fix the issue. You can also try temporarily not using the mod for a day, or can try downloading and installing a sense of humor to your system. Rest assured that all date-related features are automatically deactivated at the appropriate time.
  11. Yes, please double-check the current date. Maybe type today's date into google just to make sure you in fact have it right.
  12. Please check the date and time settings on your computer and make sure they are set correctly to today's current date.
  13. For anybody having this issue I would strongly suggest double-checking your system date and time settings, to make sure they are up-to-date.
  14. I haven't experienced any reduction FPS while using Custom Backup.
  15. The option you need to change is in the ELS.ini file. Better EMS will alert you if it's set too low and offer to change it for you.
  16. If you were to have it configured in the mode where the ambulance only responds by default but sometimes the fire department responds if they're much closer or there's lots of injured peds, then you can use the both units key to force both to respond if only the ambulance would have responded. Please double-check that the system time is set correctly on your computer.
  17. In the custom backup INI, disable OverrideLSPDFRBackup, or whatever the option is called (I forget the exact name). I'll have to look into the arrest manager integration. It calls the arrest manager API, so I guess it depends on what options that API provides. I'll investigate. You can configure how EMS should respond, including whether a fire truck comes or not, in the Better EMS INI file, assuming you use Better EMS. If you don't, you should! As for improving the backup AI... that's something I want to do someday, but I'm not sure when it'll happen. I have some ideas especially for making traffic stop backup better, but it's just that right now - ideas.
  18. ELS vehicles will work if you have the latest version of ELS (1.05), but sometimes the lights will not be flashing if the vehicle is responding from far away. That is a bug in ELS, and there is nothing I can do to fix it. However, in the newest version it does detect your ELS settings and warn you to increase the range ELS controls vehicles at to help alleviate this problem.
  19. Better EMS 3.0 is now available! I am happy to announce that Better EMS 3.0 is now available to all! This update includes a ton of internal changes and bug fixes, which should result in a much more stable experience. In particular, I finally fixed the annoying bug where sometimes peds either wouldn't get treated, or would show up twice on the incident report. I've also fixed a bunch of other bugs, added customization of survival probabilities, implemented compatibility with the upcoming Police Smart Radio by Albo1125, and added a ton of new API features to support the plugin dev community. If you'd like to support the development of my mods and get access to beta releases of future updates to Better EMS as well as my other plugins, please check out the Parks Benefactor program! Special thanks to the Parks Benefactors who supported this release, with particular acknowledgement to these donors who made particularly generous contributions during the development of this update: Kilyin, anters, Sergeant Anderson, winglesschip, Dsonke1, and PolGuin255.
  20. I am working on adding features to support customization for non-US players, including the ability to configure some of the text displayed in the callouts, as well as vehicles and which ones should be used for what. I'm not sure yet how exactly I'm going to handle distribution of non-US vehicles. I've recently started discussing with some modelers and texture creators about creating some of the common SAR and maritime law enforcement helis/boats from other countries, but I don't know yet how exactly I'll distribute those mods. But long story short, yes, I am working on making coastal callouts compatible for non-US players.
  21. Your credits appear to be incomplete; you included the model directly from RDE. You should only be uploading textures, and let people get the model from RDE directly.
  22. So, today I discovered the "no boundary limits" mod on gta5-mods.com, which gives you access to pretty much all of the ocean areas as far out as you can imagine. For those who haven't tried this themselves before, without this mod your vehicle won't let you go more than about 1km off shore usually, and if you try to swim out you'll get eaten by a shark. Well, this obviously opens up a lot of new possibilities for Coastal Callouts! I spent several hours this evening trying to improve some of the code that makes NPC-driven boats drive. The good news is, it works fine in the far-off-shore areas. The bad news is, I'm still having issues getting NPCs to drive properly when they're near shore... as you may have noticed in some of the youtube videos, occasionally boats will just sit there and not do anything until you get close enough. I've been able to get them to work a bit further from the player, but still not all the time. I'm planning to continue conducting more research on this matter, but in the meantime, enjoy a couple screenshots from my testing today:
