This is probably the issue then. Try mapping it to something very easy to test, like J and K, and see if that works. Also, make sure there is a blank line at the top of your coastalcallouts.ini, before the first [Keybindings] section.

Based on this it doesn't appear that you are pressing (or it is not registering) the up/down buttons being pressed. When you press them, the up/down arrows will turn to green on the hoist UI in the upper right corner. By default it is mapped to -/+ on the numpad. Are you sure you're pressing the right keys?

You can upload it unlisted on YouTube, or upload it to a file sharing site like Mega, Google Drive, or whatever you prefer.

You may have installed something incorrectly. The MLB works just fine on my test server and I have seen it used on other servers as well. I don't know how your siren control script works, but the boats all have the emergency vehicle flag in vehicles.meta. There's no way to make them not show up in the boats category, maybe your siren script needs to be updated to detect boats too. The sirens won't work automatically because there is no audio setting for boats with sirens, you can only add sirens via a script. Lights also work fine on FiveM last I checked. Perhaps you have a siren setting ID conflict with another vehicle? You can use software like Nvidia Shadowplay to record your screen. Based on your specs I wouldn't expect issues. It's very hard to diagnose what might be going on without some kind of screenshots and/or video.

What kind of FPS do you get and what are your specs? Do you see the up/down indicators on the hoist UI? If a screenshot won't capture the issue, take a short screen recording.

Looks to me like you just need to install EUP Serve and Rescue. You may only have the EUP Law Enforcement pack installed. The FiveM pack is for server owners to install and set up on the server, and only adds the vehicles and some maps, no callouts. The single player mod, including the callouts themselves, are for single player only and have nothing to do with FiveM. It sounds like you'll need to find a FiveM server to join that has the pack installed. I don't really play FiveM so I have no particular recommendations. Looks like it is crashing when requesting an ambulance from the LSPDFR backup system. If you go to one of those locations and call for EMS using the built in LSPDFR backup menu, what happens? Is it possible you've modified files in your gta v/lspdfr/data folder, causing there to be no valid ambulance entry? Can you please confirm that this was with no other mods running and no LML packages installed? Is your GTA installation on a physical drive inside your computer (not running off a USB drive)?

So are you currently still having issues loading the mod? If so, please fill out the support template from the first page of this thread.

That is odd, from what I can see it looks like you've generally installed things correctly. If you remove the LML folder and just have LML itself installed but without any actual packages, does it still crash? If so, please open Event Viewer, go to the Application log, locate the crash for gta5.exe, and post a screenshot of that. I'm not sure I quite follow what your issue is at this point. If you overwrite wardrobe.ini in Plugins\EUP with the one that came with Coastal Callouts, it should work (with EUP). It shouldn't affect Coastal Callouts loading. The gameconfig comment was not in response to you; the forum software merges together the replies if I respond to two messages in a short period of time, as you'll see again on this post.

The 8.1 EUP files should work OK for it. Are you able to get your game running with any custom gameonfig, even if you don't install it through LML?

Please change this to ONLY include the specific textures that you modified, in PNG or DDS format. Do not redistribute the full YTD file, as this can cause issues if the model is updated later. It is against the license of Coastal Callouts to redistribute full YTD files without permission.

Do you have the latest version of GTA V, and is it a legal copy of the game? If the game is crashing with any custom gameconfig then there is something else wrong.

Well they are emergency vehicles. If you don't want them to be for some reason you can edit the vehicles.meta file in data/addon folder of the LML package. Find those models and remove the emergency vehicle and law enforcement vehicle flags.

It looks to me like the mod is installed correctly, and I don't see any errors in the log. Please go on duty, wait until everything is fully loaded, then try opening the menu and forcing a callout, then upload the RagePluginHook.log directly from your game folder (not from the logs subfolder) immediately afterwards.

With the "weird chrome" this can be caused by some visual mods which make a very stupid change to the vehicle_mesh shader. Try replacing update.rpf/common/shaders/win32_40_final/vehicle_mesh.fxc with the original file. Things should spawn at LSIA if you've installed the mod correctly. You should see helicopters landing or a plane taking off occasionally, and some aircraft parked inside the hangar. If you teleport to the airport they may be less likely to spawn than if you drive/fly to the airport yourself. The mod doesn't add anything to the map at Fort Zancudo.

Mod upload is unbearably slow
@Cyan I just tried uploading another update to Coastal Callouts, which is a ~600 MB file. I have a 100 Mbps symmetrical fiber connection, so it should be very fast on my end. It took about 45 minutes to actually upload. So whatever issues are causing slow upload speeds still appear to be occurring.

I see no indication of a crash in your log. Please fill out the "crash while using coastal callouts" template, and make sure to upload the log immediately after the crash occurs. What were you doing when the crash/bug occurred? Did the game crash to desktop, or did the plugin crash? Does the same crash or bug happen consistently? If so, describe the steps to reproduce the issue. Upload a copy of RagePluginHook.log from your main GTA V folder. Upload any relevant in-game screenshots.

The code that enables boat sirens broke on the latest GTA update. It will be fixed in the next Coastal Callouts update which is coming very soon.
