Would it make you feel better if I released a new version that was the exact same (because it does still work) but with a new version number so you can feel better that it's been uPdAtEd? You have yet to articulate any actual issue with the plugin or produce any log file showing any sort of crash. It's literally impossible for a plugin like this to do anything whatsoever to your character model or hair. That's just not how it works. As for allegedly crashing after deleting tape, if that is happening, upload a log and I'll see if there's something going on. If you don't upload a log, then you're just whining. Based on how you think character model issues are caused by an entirely unrelated mod though, I suspect you've messed up all kinds of things with your game and are just grasping at straws to explain them. Try doing a clean installation of the game and things might work better for you. Regarding comments about the mod not working, of course people don't usually comment if everything is working fine, they only make a fuss if something is not working. As you can see the majority of people who've had issues installed the mod wrong, and got it working once they sorted that out.

I've been creating mods for LSPDFR for about 5 years now, what's your point? And I'm not sure what you're trying to prove by boasting about how many issues you've had. The plugin was updated on December 6, 2020, and I use it frequently on the latest game version with no issue. But even if it hadn't been updated recently, I'm not sure where you and other people get this idea that a mod has to be constantly updated or else it will have issues. Simple mods like this one don't need to be updated all the time to keep working. It's been updated to add new features, but the original version from 3 years ago would still work on the latest game version. Clearly there was some "issue" on your end, hence your post.

This plugin does absolutely nothing at all that would affect your player character. It was updated in December and works just fine, not abandoned in the slightest. Never had a crash when deleting tape either. Sounds like you've got some other issues with your game, but feel free to upload a log file if you do encounter a crash with the plugin and I'll take a look.

I do not plan to integrate with Ultimate Backup. You can use the Better EMS menu for EMS backup though.

Sounds like once you read the readme and actually finished installing the mod, everything worked great then, just like I expected 😉 Don't try to gaslight me on what you said, you may not have said "inherent flaw" verbatim, but what you said means the exact same: Nothing was wrong with the plugin, just your failure to install it properly. It's your entitled tone that bothers me, not that someone would ask for support. I have helped many people install my mods, few have your entitled personality and that's what I object to. The way you keep referring to this as a "product" when it is a free mod I provide as a hobby says a lot about your attitude. Respectful support requests and genuine feedback are always welcome; your comments were neither.

First of all, LML is not required for Police Tape. You can install it as a traditional DLC if you want. I don't know what you're talking about "other police tapes" the "only dump the files into the main directory" as this is the only police tape mod, and has always required you to install either an LML package or DLC pack in order to add the new models to the game. As for looking up the keys, I hadn't been on my PC in a few days to check. I just looked, and just like I thought (and said) before, the default keybinding is indeed Ctrl+G. I provided the information I had at the time. The mod continues to work just fine with the latest version of LSPDFR. If it's not working for you then the fact is you likely installed something wrong. Upload your log file. I can't help you without a log file. I don't appreciate you coming in here complaining about stuff and being impatient, when you won't even provide any useful information to guide you. You said it yourself: the installation is very simple. So I don't know why it isn't working for you, but it's not because of any inherent flaw of the mod.

Plugin works fine and has nothing to do with LSPDFR. You have either installed it wrong or are using it wrong. Maybe it's Shift+G? I don't remember off the top of my head, just check the readme.

I believe the default is Ctrl+G. RageNativeUI is separate from RagePluginHook. The latest version should be included in the police tape download, make sure you copied it over to the game folder. Make sure you've followed the readme carefully, if you still can't get it to work, upload your RagePluginHook.log file.
