  1. Thanks. But...can you please spoiler it? EDIT: Thanks.
  2. Who's supporting this bill? Do we have any idea?
  3. Agreeing with NicolaiB. PLEASE keep this on topic. This is a good idea for a topic, and it'd be a shame if the mods locked it
  4. I'm pretty sure I'm not helping your point, but never mind that. This discussion has nothing to do with the topic. Can we please get back there?
  5. Are...are you serious? Law class at school now means you know more than someone who deals with these rules on a frequent basis, and is *required* to know them?
  6. Marine831, you are taking classes in school. Bailey23 is a police officer. I think he knows his stuff more than you know yours. EDIT: And if you pull a gun on him, he is permitted to shoot you. Police seem to be held to a looser standard for drawing a gun; AFAIK, they *are* allowed to draw because of the possibility of needing lethal force. It is entirely possible that he is justified in drawing his weapon. You really don't know why he's arresting you or cuffing you; using force could easily be resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Also: Police *do* have legal protections that don't apply to you. You AREN'T legally their equal. EDIT EDIT: This is REALLY off-topic.
  7. The quality would probably be not very good. For example, static would be very annoying to hear ingame, as it's harder to tune out IG than if I'd been listening for a while. Also, a lot of these calls aren't that common in RL (e.g., shootout). For consistency, one dispatcher would probably be best, and that'd be hard.
  8. Didn't Spurbury use JetSonics? The state police used Edges, but the locals didn't.
  9. Pstockade doesn't have its own handling line. Pstockade, nstockade, and stockade all use the stockade line. Also: You can add cars to GTA without replacing. On GPM, there is a mod that adds a police bike without replacing; install this mod, then replace the bike with yours.
  10. You mean when it's deleting a car to spawn another? I check it, and it *should* be a minimum of 20 units, but I'll look into increasing that. ForceSpawn intentionally will spawn MUCH closer.
  11. Text: I can play it without turning on my computer sound, which is a HUGE plus.
  12. You could always just try a StreetHawk. I know it's not what you want, but you can easily get one unlocked from Sam's models.
  13. You could also check out GlovePIE. Caution: Download from a mirror, not the main site; the main site was hacked a while ago. The DL *seems* to still be OK, but no point risking it.
  14. I got this when it was on GPM a while ago, and I can say it has been one of the most helpful resources period when making LCPD skins.
  15. OK, I have an idea about the clumpiness of spawns, but I'd need to check it. The dropping is weird, and I'll look into it. As a side note, thanks for reporting your problems. I would have no idea the issues existed if it wasn't for you guys.
  16. I use this: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/mice/devices/gaming-mouse-g500 I don't really have a great desire for a mouse with an odd design, and I have a very specific set of things I like in a mouse. However, again, you don't need to worry about what will and won't work; any two-button mouse works for GTA.
  17. All computer games are designed for mouse and keyboard control. Any mouse and keyboard will work. That said: If you are extremely serious about gaming, I might recommend a specialized mouse. I just got one, and it's nice. However, you definitely don't need one, and wireless mice should work fine. Also, FYI, this goes in "GTA IV Discussion". It's good you didn't put it in Support; I'm sure a mod will move it to the right place soon.

If you would look, you'd see that this thread is 4 months old. The OP hasn't been on since January 24.
  19. It doesn't quite seem to match, though (missing the bulge).
  20. For future reference: how did you find it? EDIT: Hang on a sec. Looking at the manufacturer website, that lightbar is completely flat and rectangular. This one bulges on the edges. It actually looks kind of like a Code 3 360, but with (relatively) flat LEDs instead of a bubble. At first I thought this, but on checking again, it really doesn't look much like a 360 at all.
  21. Any idea who makes it? If you have a very high-res picture, it often says on the lightbar who the manufacturer is.
  22. Yeah, it works with Steam. It should work just as well on any *legal* install.
  23. My bad, it's KeyBindingsDisabled (and change it from 0 to 1). And don't look in Weather, look in Time. Weather and time are independent.
  24. http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-iv/script-mods/2115 Put Trainer.asi and Trainer.ini in your main game directory (or, if you use TBGOT, Trainertbogt.*). Warning: Before using, go into Trainer.ini and find EnableKeys, and set it to 0.
