  2. The lighting modes are very useful for ELS. If the lights aren't set to auto, I can put my lights on and turn on a lighting mode, making cars pull over for me even though I have no siren.
  3. There are a lot of fun things to do with emergency-style lights that don't involve cars. For example, the student system administrators at my school are putting red and blue beacons in the server room, to go off if the server is high load or broken.
  4. It was Sniper, but he said that it just looked around every tick and removed weapons from all cops who had them.
  5. Yeah. I've had a lot of schoolwork recently, so coding time is limited, but I am working on it.
  6. Prohibited in most, if not all, US states. Red is pretty much the only color that is *always* emergency vehicles (even blue is sometimes volly FFs).

AI cars already use turn signals. Also: any progress on the future plans?
  8. How's the jacket model updated?
  9. Once, a 14 year old in Chicago went out on patrol. All he did was walk into a police station in a uniform, with no badge or gun (just an empty holster). He then went out WITH A PARTNER. It wasn't until 5 hours later that someone realized that a 14 year old without a badge *probably* wasn't a cop.
  10. I think yellow lights are allowed everywhere, because they only mean "notice this vehicle" (because it's driving slowly, it's a construction vehicle, it's stopped on the side of the road, etc.). Yellow never means emergency.
  11. Well, the Miami guy was certainly stupid...
  12. It really doesn't matter, because they'll be the exact same model. They're working together (at least, that's what I think EVI meant).
  13. It's because people who make laws stopped knowing or caring about video games in 1979 or so. Movies, they can understand, but not these kids with their newfangled "vee-dee-oh games".
  14. I've seen that on other sites as well. I think it's so people who were involved in the thread can still find it.
  15. Do you have a CVPI car mod installed?
  16. I don't think Autodesk designs software for consumer-grade cards. They have Quadros and stuff like that in their computers.
  17. That would work. Out of curiosity, which mod?

  19. This may seem like a big community, but there are actually very very few people interested in RPing cops in GTA.
  20. Why do you say it doesn't seem like they need textures? The game doesn't display models. It displays textures on the models. If there aren't textures, the model won't show up. The experience thing is just saying that you need to get used to modeling to really be able to do it right. The more you practice, the better you'll get, and the easier it is to make more things.
  21. Wait...are there more than just this one?
  22. N/A
