IVDashCam Radar
For some reason, LAlt+R does not turn on the radar on my IVDashCam. Anyone know what it might be?

IVMP Question
Do the people have the same car models? Also, why IV:MP? Why not the default MP?

LCPDFR Concerns
People have been breaking the law since way before video games existed. Crime rates have not increased as video game usage increased (in fact, violent crime rates in the US have been going pretty much steadily down since the early 90s). If people who go commit crimes disproportionately play similar video games, it's more likely "they like *whatever*, so the game attracted them" than "the game made them like *whatever*". Though the idea that someone is complaining that a GTA mod may make people impersonate police is kind of funny, since, if games influenced people like that, everything else about GTA would be way more of a concern. Say, the idea that it's fun to drive down a sidewalk shooting all the random people walking around.

Smooth Controlling police vehicle in LCPDFR
Look up GlovePIE. It lets you take any controller and make it emulate anything else.
-
More challenging
LCPDFR involves playing as a cop. The developers are extremely unlikely to implement features involving the player as a criminal.

Traffic Spawner
@TheDanishGuy: The CVPI is Caine's, I'm not sure if I found or made the skin for it (it's his design, but I may adapted it to CVPI - can't remember) The Enforcer is CJ24's, with a version of Break's skin that I modified to black and white. The Tahoe is also Caine's; here, I used an existing black/white template set, and put Caine's (transparent) LCPD textures on it to make a black and white set. @xyz 123: What Engine Script? CSharp.Core or something along those lines? That may be just an incompatibility (LCPDFR is designed and optimized for SHDN 1.7.1.4; I use 1.7.1.7, b/c it has some better exception handling, and is easier for me to get help with).

Mac
Does the game run? Where did you get it? Rockstar lists supported platforms for GTA:IV as "XBOX 360, Playstation 3, and PC". Wikipedia agrees. I don't see why they wouldn't list Mac if it's compatible, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say it isn't.

Mac
You don't have GTA IV on Mac (unless you're running Windows through Boot Camp). I know this because GTA IV for Mac does not exist.

ELS mapping
The mapping on his car is different than the mapping on the car Asuna's texture is made for. Not all ELS vehicles are mapped the same way.

Increase Car Run Probability
If you want a car to run, you can just spam the shift key, and they'll eventually take off.

Question about LCPDFR 0.95 final release
Bug fixes are the only thing that should happen between the last RC and the final release. The final release means it's stable, no more testing needed. Any new features may have bugs.

EFLC
Or he has a parent who is a dev for Rockstar.

RC3
I had thought your style was familiar on an earlier post, but didn't recognize your name.
-
RC3
Oh... THAT'S who you are. Also, @OP: The devs don't like giving out release dates. Very few people do, actually. It may, in theory, not be released at all; it is possible for .95 to go from RC2 to Final. However, what's most likely is a release as soon as they feel they should release. Don't get your hopes too far up.

New Uniform
No one's made them yet, at least to my knowledge. We have ped modelling now, and one will probably show up in due time.

New Cop Models
It's thread JACK.

Handling line help
I mean for doing it myself. In this particular case, it's a Stinger replacement, so should be very fast but have stable steering.

First 2013 Ford Police Interceptor
That actually sounds like a better use of space than just putting a laptop in.

Handling line help
If a car has a tendency to slip and slide on turns, how could I fix it in a handling line?

Mac
This mod needs GTA. No GTA, no mod.

The process is substantially similar to adding new vehicles.

I suppose that makes sense.

How do you run over a *car*?

LCPDFR & PPM
That's what I meant. That definitely seems as if PPM is rapidly turning on and off the high beam headlights.
