  1. Yes, I am a big lover of RDE but I have since removed it. I do not have enough custom patrol cars and would not like mixing "Lore" with actual car models. RDE is absolutely fantastic, though. I used to use in conjunction with LSPDFR. I loved the varieties of the different Departments that I could play as! And having a whole fleet of CHP cars spawn on the highways when calling for backup was 1337 as well.
  2. Is there anyway to modify the response vehicles? Wishing GTAV would spawn the same pool of cars that I have added in my LSPDFR backup file. What I mean is that I sometimes load up the game using RPH but I don't go on duty, there are very few police car types that spawn.
  3. Well what the heck, that's odd. Only the RPH developers will be able to answer that one I guess, or Albo, I have no idea. Same identical problem and solution that works for just about everyone doesn't work for you. I'm sorry!
  4. Try forcing DirectX 11. It is also located in the same RPH settings area as the force windows mode setting as well. I don't quite remember where or why I had to do that, but I notice that it is also selected in my RPH. I, too, had that issue with smart radio not showing up until I adjusted the RPH settings. Not anymore! It was either forcing DirectX 11, forcing windowed mode, or both that cured this issue for me. I don't recall the game crashing as a result, though, that's probably a separate area, but I can't say for sure.
  5. I have had instances where vanilla GTAV worked fine but crashed with mods, and verify fixed it. I'm not sure what happens because virtually everything is in a mods folder. But there are files that go in the main directory as well. I mean, I don't have a clue why the game would work one day and not the next, without changing anything in-between. However the verify method fixes whatever problem was for me on many occasions. I'd still recommend you try it. I'm not a programmer or a modder so I don't have much else to share with you other than what I have used to fix issues for myself in the past.
  6. Do you have any other modifications installed? I'm not sure how the Steam version works as you do not use a MODS folder, right? If I was you, I would attempt to have Steam VERIFY your game installation. To be honest, every so often I'll have GTAV crashing. I have NO clue why as all mods are always put in a MODS folder that is separate from the game, but if I run the command line to VERIFY my installation, it always fixes whatever problem was causing my game to crash. It's something to try at least. We have two different versions of the game but like I said I still run in to a crashing problem quite regularly that has always been cured by a file verification!
  7. Well, I was going to ask what version you have, I guess that answers that. I don't have any experience with the Steam version because I have the DVD boxed version. However, does the radio show up at the bottom right of your screen at all or is it entirely missing from the game? I know you say that the game freezes but is what happens right before it freezes?
  8. Yes. What is the problem that you have with Smart Radio? Please elaborate.
  9. Hello. I am using the latest version of Smart Radio yet the coroner keeps putting the bodies in garbage bags instead of on a stretcher. Any ideas?
  10. We will see. I will likely want to install it. Likewise, there will probably be a couple of Rockstar updates that will screw up my GTAV long before LSPDFR 0.4 is released.
  11. I still have the idea that something will screw up.
  12. Not looking forward to having to re-install everything in OpenIV again. What a PAIN!
  13. I did realize that my Simple Trainer (trainerv.asi) was old. I updated to the new version just now, I will see if that has any affect on ScriptHookV crashing. It didn't crash all of the time before, though, and only crashed upon loading of the game. I find Simple Trainer superior to the Native Trainer that comes bundled with ScriptHookV.
  14. I am having issues with ScripthookV crashing but ultimately it doesn't affect GTAV or LSPDFR. It just means that I cannot utilize TrainerV as a result of ScripthookV crashing. 15. It has been awhile since this pack has been released. Any updates on the potential for this huge pack being entirely add-on without overwriting other car slots?
Why did I wait so long to install this mod? Well, mainly because I never installed any ELS vehicle models previously. I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend to all players to PRINT the ELS controls document, as there are more hidden flash patterns such as the headlight flasher, taillight flasher, and reverse lights that you won't see on the UI. Lots of mods and user control. Awesome! One of the things I would like to see, although I am not sure if it is possible, is some sort of cooperative agreement between Siren Mastery and ELS. I did like being able to configure different cars with different sirens. With ELS, everything uses the same siren tones that are installed in the game folder. Sure, you can install custom siren sounds, but all ELS cars will use these same 4 siren tones (+ air horn.)
  16. Love the pack, but I would much prefer to see the Civilian Stanier Crown Victoria with varying solid metallic colors. Sometimes you see about a half dozen of these cars in traffic and they are all black and white with the crossed out doors. A variety of colors would be great.
  17. A "Bug" that I have noticed is that the headlight flasher for the FBI Suburban actually illuminates on the ground right beside the passenger and driver side doors. Must be in the incorrect spot or something, I have no idea.
All 3 of Thero's packs are phenomenal, and to be honest, they are the first ELS packs that I have ever installed. I am very impressed! He has covered just about all of the emergency vehicles. For the future, I would really LOVE to see him add a Sheriff Tahoe, and a whole fleet of add-on CHP highway cars. Like highway patrol CVPI, Charger, FPIU and FPIS, etc. The only part of my fleet that is lacking proper themed cars is the highway patrol!

  18. I could care less for Rockstar's stupid money making multiplayer updates. They never add jack squat to story mode and all it ever does it cause headaches and confusion for the modding community, including all of us right here.
  19. Would it be possible to get a full file name list for all of the vehicles that have been added to RDE? I want to modify my backup file further but unfortunately not all of the cars have easy file names like the added police and sheriff cars. Please assist! :)
As someone who played LSPDFR for a long time before adding RDE, I can tell you that RDE definitely adds value to LSPDFR! I rarely play in "civilian" mode but when I have, RDE also adds much realism and more enjoyment over vanilla GTAV! For those of you unsure if you would like to bundle LSPDFR with RDE, I say go for it! The added variety of peds and vehicles is fantastic!
  20. Enough said, makes sense! I assume that it uses the FBI vehicle sound since the siren should be the same, am I right? I never understood why the Taxi Staniers didn't use the same sound as Police Staniers, but that's a vanilla GTAV issue :D
