I'm trying to change the colour of the lights from blue to red, like this modder this with his own sprinter: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/mercedes-benz-sprinter-f-b-i i tried changing the color to red of the files: generic_lightbar_e and generic_lightbar_glass to red and saved as .dds file but ingame nothing changes. In the preview when clicking on the ytf file in Open IV instead I see changes have been applied.

Does somebody know how to remove the lightbar from a police car? Like the sprinter mercedes model.

Revised livery, applied corrections to font inclination and changed position of unit number. Added nypd insignia in front. Remember this is not the model that nypd uses, so until a modder creates a bearcat I can't do better than that. If you want also a nypd version for the insurgent (since it supports multiple liveries) tell me in the comments. Download the insurgent from here: https://it.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/hvy-insurgent-mapped-default-style Credits go to Yard1 and POLICESCO. PS: I found out that if I use the riot+hi.ytd file, the game crashes. So it's best to put only the 3 riot files without the 4th one (riot+hi.ytd). If it doesn't appear you're doing something wrong. Did you follow the instructions in the ford explorer mod readme file (not present in my file, on the one of PimDSLR). If yes, when you have to choose a vehicle when going on duty, switch repeatedly between the ford explorer and another vehicle so that you see all the liveries installed on the ford. Check if you can find my livery on it. Another solution: check if you substituted the explorer_signs, ALL of them (there are 8 if I'm not wrong in police3.ytd).- 5 comments

I already have cops on the beat mod that places cops patrolling in the correct areas. Is this mod better? does it change something else?

When going on duty, when choosing your vehicle there are a couple of extras you can switch off and on. I suggest also to remove FLAG_EXTRAS_ALL and FLAG_EXTRAS_REQUIRE from vehicles.meta (placed in update-update.rpf-common-data-levels-gta5) under police3. Use the search option with notepad to find police3, go to flags and remove these 2 flags to see also AI vehicles without lightbars. The vehicle you should put the ford explorer in is police3. To spawn it, you can use the trainer, but then you need to select livery in the vehicles menu and change it (if you have multiple liveries). If you can't find it, then you have installed the texture wrong.

Bugs: the front side of the helmet has a little part of color near the insignia that tends to have different brightness based on ingame light. I can't do anything about it. The symbol is pretty well made and it's the one used by NYPD. Read ReadMe file for instructions on installation (just put files in x64.e pedprops). Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for any damage made to your game. This model doesn't represent an exact replica of the current NYPD helmet, but it's similar to it for sure. Motorcycle in pictures was made by Dualift: Highway cop nypd made by Dualift: The Dualift files weren't modified and are not part of the download, the only file in the download is my helmet. Someone has the problem where when you spawn a bodyguard with the trainerV and you drive, the bodyguard will enter and exit the vehicle repeatedly? I'm having this problem and can't fix it, it started recently with the new updates to the albo plugin mods.

You just need to replace the update.rpf file and it works, I tested it.

I tried removing the mod folder and starting the game, the same crash occurs, so it's not the mods folder, there's something else. No plugins at moment of crash.

Just done, I'm aware of needing to substitute Rage and Scripthook I'm a veteran in this. The gta 5 crash panel appears so must be some file.

I tried, I crashed without even going ingame. Someone knows what we have to substitute? what folder? This is getting annoying, Rockstar and their stupid unwanted online content.
