  1. No idea anymore what the FBI thing is. Probably worth mentioning it's 2:15 in the morning here and I'm doing this stuff from my phone because I can't sleep so small mistakes are likely.

Just SSR should be fine, the only other things in there should be liverychanger, which does as it says on the tin and sorts out fire truck and ambulance skins so they match the area they're responding in and parkedcarreplacement, which makes LSSD cars spawn at the Davis Sheriff station and SAHP cars at the La Mesa SAHP station. Neither of those should be an issue.
  3. Is the SixStarResponse script still present in your scripts folder? The only thing I can think of is LSPDFR and SSR are having a bit of a struggle about who gets to control the heli.
  4. I believe the only one affected should be custombackup.xml in [GTA folder] > Plugins > LSPDFR > CustomBackup, though you might also want to double-check backup.xml in [GTA folder] > LSPDFR
  5. The initial release had some issues with SAHP and BCSO air units as an outdated version of the xml was accidentally included, which still had those two agencies set to use a pilot model that had since been removed, which meant they spawned with no pilot. These issues are however fixed with the 3.0.1 release, If you don't want to redownload that though, simply open up the xml and remove the 'sheriff' bit in the pilot model name.
  6. It's in the LSPDFR folder in your GTA directory. May I also point your attention to the first line of my signature? I keep forgetting to check this topic, hence the late replies.
  7. Are you using the default LSPDFR prisoner transport? That runs off of the LSPDFR backup.xml, so you need to have that replaced too.
  8. For the custombackup.xml to work, you need to have the Custom Backup mod installed, which you don't seem to have as it would work otherwise. It's available here, and also contains instructions on how to add more backup slots. The easiest way to do so would be to copy the existing FIB SWAT entry, and just change the vehicles over to military ones. I would suggest you use s_m_y_marine_04, as I believe that's the one the game recognizes as cop, meaning it'll properly work. Also, be sure to have the 3.0.1 hotfix installed, it fixes a few things in the xml related to air support.
  9. Using multiple plugins at once shouldn't be an issue, plugins rarely overwrite each other.
  10. That is because originally Marine couldn't get flagged as cop because peds.ymt couldn't be edited, so a new one was added to be able to do so. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to work the way they do. It's the same reason there's a second prison guard model similar to the original one. Since then stuff changed and peds.ymt can be edited, but they were in anyway and it was working as intended so they weren't touched anymore as the time needed to remove them again could be used for other stuff that had to be done.

  12. Probably worth mentioning the spreadsheet @Yard1 linked above is a bit out of date, meaning not everything that is on that list is actually in. I do believe however that everything that is in the mod is also mentioned on that list.

  14. What it means is that despite that error, you can still play the game without any issues. It simply can't find the server to check for updates, presumably because that server is down.
  15. Remap the horn key. A good option is G, which is where it used to be in previous GTA's. I don't think it's in use for anything else either for this reason, as most people remap it to G.
  16. I don't remember the exact origins either :( Think it was something with a Hydra appearing in one of the teasers, but not sure.
  17. It's from an old running joke, don't question it. It's technically more useful than a helicopter though, as it actually has some offensive capabilities whereas the helicopter can only follow people around.
  18. Given the popularity of GTA Online, no, not really. The modding community isn't as big as some people think, most people still play the game the way it was originally intended.
  19. I vaguely remember seeing his name pop up before, not sure if I pulled him over or it just showed when I ran a random plate. I've come across quite a few "famous" people though, several of them got ticketed, might have arrested a few too. Also beat up Ash Catchem with a nightstick once. I had to because he was refusing to co-operate, and it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact I don't like pokemon and think he's got a stupid name. Go ask Internal Affairs, they cleared me too.
  20. Yes, you will either have to manually check, or just use the latest patchday folder that supports what you want to install. If it has a vehicles.rpf in there you can throw car mods into it, if it has weapons.rpf you can use it for weapon mods, and if it has patchdayXng.rpf with ped models in it you can use that for ped mods. That way, you don't have to look for whatever version has the latest version of what you want to replace, as the game will load it anyway.
  21. Yes, a mods folder is still required for all file changes, including ped models. Otherwise it'll do that downloading thing again. Could you try installing them into patchday9>dlc.rpf>x64>models>cdimages>patchday9ng.rpf? I did a quick search and it seems they updated the ped models so they're now in there.
  22. pedprops is only for the *_p-files. If it doesn't end on _p, it goes into another folder. For s_m_y_cop_01 that would be componentpeds_s_m_y.
  23. It's still under development, but very slowly due to the devs having other projects, studies, work, and so on. More information will be given once it's actually there to give.
  24. Nope. Using a character other than the 3 protagonists will always lead to the game considering you to be Michael. The easiest solution is to continue the story a bit.
