  2. I'm releasing a bugfix later tonight to address some issues. First off, I will be adding the option to choose what backup comes when the panic is activated, as well as the option to use Ultimate Backup or LSPDFR default backup. There is an issue where if you use Ultimate Backup for the panic, your character plays an animation that prevents you from shooting. Currently there is a vote for an idea to disable the feature on Bejoijo's Discord. For now the config will default to using LSPDFR's default backup to prevent this. Second issue, if Ultimate Backup is not installed, your game will crash when shooting. I had a safe check for this but it's not working, so the above will also fix this issue.

  4. Yeah I can't disable the animation from my end that I know of.
  5. I could add an option to disable ultimate backup so it will use the default lspdfr one, I don't think that one plays an animation.
  6. That's strange, the stun gun is not included in the weapon check.
  7. Before you tell me, yes I know I forgot to change the assembly version so when the plugin loads it will say it's 1.1 even though you're on 1.2. Whoops.
  8. If you are wearing armor there is a chance of 1 bullet not hurting you, only destroying the armor.
  9. I have fixed a a lot of bugs, and improved FPS. As well as added a lot more to the custom AI. Currently the system will cause you to loose 10 ~ 15 FPS when using this plugin, now it will only drop around 1 ~ 2 FPS. I will have an update later today. Also fixed the issue of the ped damage not always working.
  10. May be something with the bleedout script. Any mods that modify health / armor in any way will not be compatible unfortunately.
  11. My plugin will override that, mine sets all their accuracy to 20%

  14. That is the plan, I am finishing up the update but I am having an issue with LSPDFR taking control of peds I tell to flee or take cover so once I have that sorted out it will be ready. Within the next 5 hours.
  15. I use Stop The Ped and have to get my rifle and shotgun from the trunk. If you have it just go to the back and press G I don't plan to add a new texture because this is only going to be a script. Adding textures would be a hassle for people to install.
  16. I'm sorry I read your comment wrong, yes in the next version there is a config option to disable that.
  17. In the future I plan to add less than lethal ammo for this mod, but removing the shotgun wouldn't be fair to everyone else.
  18. UPDATE 1.1 I will have this update ready for later tomorrow or Sunday depending on my schedule! Features: Added new ped AI, they will shoot slower, have lower accuracy, and have a chance to flee after shooting. Added Ultimate Backup support, if you have that plugin it will use that for the panic button. If not, no worries it will use LSPDFR default backup. Added stats to peds, they will die just as easily as a player. Things are fair now. Added config file. Probably something else I forgot about. Config: Config for all addons, enable / disable what you want. (Stats not included in config yet) Added option to disable panic button in config. Added option to disable damage in config. Added option to to change cooldown time for panic button. Added option to Enable better ped AI. I'm going to my buddies for the weekend and will not be able to test this version, if you want to help me test please join my discord and let me know!
  19. I could do something like that, if I do it will be in the config and default to not being on but then people can enable it if they like.

  21. In a future version I am going to completely modify how the AI behaves, if you are too far away there is will be something like a 70% chance they will flee. As well as I want to throw their aim off a bit. As for shooting an AI in the legs, I could do that. thank you! I'll have an update out by Monday, I will make sure to have a config for that. You are correct I don't know any real ones that panic on discharge, but many including mine have a weapon camera that activates when the weapon is active. Let's pretend GTA is 2 years in the future and there is a little transmitter on the gun that sends a signal to your patrol car when you shoot but i'll add an option to disable that soon! I fully agree with the callouts too. With my callouts for example there is a lot of random scenarios. You could go to a strange car on the road, nobody there, or it could happen when you show up it's a wanted felon who will shoot you. Makes you realize why cops need to always be on their toes. I think this is fun because you have to take things seriously. There is much more to be added but so far I am liking the results!
  22. I actually have been considering those ideas. I was thinking of having AI be just as fragile but later decided against it. As for the AI, the AI is very trigger happy you are correct. I have already started working on having the aggressive peds fire slower (unless they have a rifle) and try to take cover. 80% chance of them running away when the player is knocked over. I do like the idea of being able to be saved. It is something I thought of too, I do want to add a feature like that. Although my only issue is seeing if I can get the medics from BetterEMS and Ultimate Backup to save the player. Preventing null exception crashes is a game in it's own when working with other plugins
