  1. Hey everyone. It's been a long time since I've been active here and on GTA5Mods. I apologize for not providing updates sooner regarding my siren sound mods and stuff. For a while I've been very busy with part-time work at a cleaning company and since my last update here (probably since 2017 if I recall correctly) I kinda grown disinterested on playing GTA5 for the time being mostly due to getting bored after a while. And because I stopped playing GTA 5, until last year at least, I completely forgot about the site here until at sometime this year. So for the time being, I'm retiring from sound modding or at the very least no longer updating my siren sound mods. I will still answer some questions via messages since I had disabled comments on the sound mod showcase videos on my main Youtube channel. That being said, I wish you guys and gals a wonderful holiday weekend and a happy new year. 🙂
  2. Same here. The download size ended up being smaller than the size mentioned on the download description. I was downloading some of the siren sound mods and some of them downloaded with smaller sizes than mentioned. Hopefully this is a bug that could be fixed soon.
  3. You might have to update the mods folder's update folder through OpenIV. It stops the game from crashing.
Sounds absolutely perfect. The loop, the quality, etc. They all perfect. X3
  4. I think it sounds like a Federal Signal PA4000 to me.
The looping is perfect and the quality is really good. Not even my version of the Whelen Epsilon can match your version of this siren mod. Excellent work. =)
  5. I've recently finished tweaking my Code 3 RLS Siren sound mod and I have issues uploading a new version of the mod. Sometimes the progress bar barely budges and sometimes the progress bar finishes but there was an error code 200 or something. What should I do at the moment?
The siren works fairly well and the siren itself is fairly loud enough. However the quality is a bit of a mixed bag. The wail for example sounds a bit amplified and peaked to a point. But that's just a minor nitpick. This is one of the better siren sound mods of the Code 3 Mastercom and even better than my Code 3 RLS siren sound mod. Keep up the good work. ^^
  6. It sounds almost actually like the D&R intimidator siren here in Canada. :P
  7. After almost a year since I've first uploaded the siren sound mod, here's V3.0 of this mod. What are your thoughts so far? Let me know in this thread. ^^
  8. You're right. It never came out. On the other hand the Canadian Siren Sound Pack will not only have a major overhaul but will also have brand new sirens in the sound pack. The overhaul will come out later this year. ^^
  9. This is just fucked up beyond explanation. My heart goes out to the victims of this (in my opinion) terrorist attack.
  10. I know. I've been meaning to do a complete overhaul of this siren mod for quite a while. While I did manage to sample the wail, yelp, hyper-yelp and hi-low from a recent video of the siren, It won't be until later this year that I'll be able to fully release an overhaul update to this siren mod (plus the Canadian Siren Sound Pack) because I'm very busy with work and many other projects as well.
  11. You'd have to actually export the vehicle.oac via OpenIV. Here are two videos on how to install the siren mods for GTA V. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnclF303uHYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymLrNTjGBXA And in case that some of the sirens don't work, here's an .rar file that'll fix the issues regarding muted sirens. 567b539ea2b33_Reducedvehicleaudioarchivefilesizefix.rar
  12. Try this fix Reduced vehicle audio archive file size fix.rar
  13. This is more of the modern one. I'm talking about the one that is used on 1980/1990s emergency vehicles. Kinda like this one back in 2008 when it was still in service until 2009 or so where it was replaced by newer trucks. I quite liked the siren although it's not like the EQ2B or even the Whelen Executor from time to time.
  14. I'm not talking about the modern PA300. I'm talking about the old school ones that sound like the recent D&R Intimidator Canadian siren but with a longer wail. I was thinking of re-working on the old Federal Signal PA300 siren mod but this time since there is a way of adding in longer length sirens without worrying of going over 15.75 MB in size (of the vechicles.awc file) thanks to GravelRoadCop I shall be making the siren mod for either the Fire Trucks or the Police Cars (mainly either the Sheriff Granger or the FIB vehicles). Kinda like those ones and sadly I only found one youtube video of the older Federal Signal PA300 siren models.
  15. The D&R Intimidator sirens are included in my siren sound pack but it's in a lower pitched variety. The actual D&R Intimidator siren mod that TheRealNBK71's made for GTA 4 mod I've also edited and made for GTA V. =)
  16. Thanks. =) I haven't yet been able to update the siren sounds nor been able to do a complete overhaul sadly. Mainly because I've been quite busy with personal family life in the last few weeks or so. Starting next week, I'll try to update the sirens whilst sampling some new ones that are used in Canada on various of emergency vehicles including the actual Q2B siren, Whelen Xecutor, Whelen 295/Whelen Q combo, Whelen Alpha/E-Q2B combo, Federal Signal PA300, and so forth.
  17. I'm not sure what happened. The yelp and horn works yet the wail does not? There is a muted sirens fix that helps resolve issues of muted sirens thanks to GravelRoadCop. 567b539ea2b33_Reducedvehicleaudioarchivefilesizefix.rar
Excellent, flawless loops of the wail and yelp. Plus lots of variety and an actual fix of the muted sirens when the file size goes over 15.75MB.
  18. To be honest, I haven't noticed that much difference in my experience on playing GTA IV EFLC on the PC. However since I only have GTA IV EFLC on steam and not GTA 5 (yet) on the PC from steam, I might try out LCPDFR some time next month.
