Desktop internet connection through Laptop wifi {how?}
Better bust out the lemonade stand then. Tech stuff costs money, dude. PC gaming is a very expensive habit. I just dropped close to a grand on a PC overhaul, and I'm not exactly thrilled about losing all of my tax refund in the course of two weeks.

A Wireless N router can reach that distance in a modern house, or you can always set up some repeaters. And oh no! $25? The horror!

GTA Iv/ LCPD FR on Mac OS "X"??
Nope. You can always partition your hard drive and install a copy of Windows on the other partition, but a normal MacBook Pro or iMac won't run it well, if at all. You need a very high end MacBook pro with a dedicated graphics card, which you won't normally find for less than a couple of grand. Maybe $1,700. And iMacs are similar. You'd need to pay about $1,600 for the game to run decent on low or medium details.

Crown Victoria accelaration sound
I love the sound, as I'm sure a lot of people here do, but it's not enough because it doesn't involve the other gears of the car. Honestly, the only way to get a proper CVPI engine sound would be to take one of people registered on this forum who is a cop and drives a Crown Vic, get him to get a high quality mic in the passenger seat of his car, and drive at dangerously high speeds without the siren on (not damn likely). Either that or if someone here has a retired CVPI, they could take it to a drag strip and do the same thing.

Complete spin off police game
Worlds Scariest Police Chases sucked. And I've said this a million times already, but police sim games don't have mass appeal compared to the likes of Grand Theft Auto. People want to play games to cause mayhem and break the rules, not enforce or obey them. They're supposed to be an escape from reality. I love police work, but I'm one of the few. Almost all of my friends hate cops and don't give a s*** about things like speed limits or drug use.

Battlefield 4
Buying all the map packs seperately costs more money. And it's not as though DICE didn't have a say in Premium. EA just produces the game, they have very little to do with development. EA has had the same level of control over the game since day one, and it's essentially the same as Call of Duty Elite. I certianly prefer paying less money, getting stuff earlier so PS3 users can't rub my nose in their early release maps and getting a few weapon and server perks. I was/am a hardcore BF3 player, I bought the latest Medal of Honor just to get BF4 Beta access, and I will likely play BF4 just as much as BF3. Regarding Bad Company 2, it was a great game, but not much changed going over to BF3. They changed the dynamics of hardcore & softcore a bit, nerfed the M1911 pistol, took away ghille suits and bullet trails, and added scope glare at ridiculously distances, even at night. Beyond those things, and tinkering with the classes a bit, the game is virtually the same. Any new Battlefield is a good one for me. For those who want some difference in their shooters, pick up a copy of Crysis 3. Different engine, different mechanics, different time period, no vehicles.

A 'must see' for anyone who uses computers
Looks about right.

Would I be able to run a ENB?
Not very well. Even with an upgrade to the 660Ti, your CPU is going to bottleneck your graphics power. The A series CPUs are weak in general, and 2.6GHZ was a standard frequency in the year 2006. Most desktop CPU's start around 3.2+GHZ now. You'd likely end up reducing your detail level to get stable FPS with the ENB. If the game's playable right now, I'd leave it alone.

(Help) Youtube vids taking forever to upload
That's your problem. You're being capped because you're using way too much of someone else's bandwidth. Go get your own connection and stop abusing someone elses $100 per month.

Help Anyone, Please? Floor disappearing!
STARTairsoft780 is correct, a large quantity of high polygon cars will make textures disappear. I only have four cars modded, only two of which appear in regular traffic, and I can get that kind of error every now and then. You didn't list your graphis card, either. I have a GTX 570 with 1280MB of memory, and that's still not enough to prevent the issue entirely. Usually it works fine, but like I said, a high concentration of modded cars can make the games roads and buildings disappear, eventually crashing the game.

APB: Reloaded
I loved the original game, although it was flawed. I reached rank 240 (Enforcer) in the six weeks before it shut down, I was a "founder" player. I had all elite weapons, two level III perks and one level II perk, 10 cars including two Mustangs, and a small clan. With APB: Reloaded they promised you'd get to keep all your stuff and your rank. Instead, when the game re-launched, I found out that they lied and only let you keep some clothing. No rank, no perks, no weapons, no cars, nothing. They made the vehicle and weapon physics even worse in my opinion, and the premium players earn money and whatnot 3 times as fast. I have no interest in spending $60 on a gun or car to keep it, or deal with a rent-a-weapon system. I miss APB the way it used to be. But oh well, RealTimeWorlds blew it. I feel bad for the staff that got laid off. I've had one of the community managers added on Facebook since before the game was taken offline. Lucky for him he moved to a job with NCSoft/Codemasters, and then to another job with SquareEnix/Eidos. I think the only reason I'd start up the game these days would be to grief people with the vehicles. And even then the vehicles don't behave the same as they used to so it's not as fun. I used to have a van and a four-door pickup in game just for the purpose of vehicle griefing & counter griefing. I'm still lauhing at the thought of the last day of the game being officially online. A GM came to our server to say goodbye, but the GM's have their blips shown on the mini map at all times. So everyone in the whole server went to the blip and started vehicle griefing the GM. lol When you went to the spot, all you saw was a sea of cars. Basically like a huge mall parkling lot worth of cars surrounding, blocking in and slamming into the GM's little Cisco sports car. lol Here's an example of some fun and all-too-common GTA griefing back when the original game was online. This video is a great exampe of the 'grief stations' in-action:

More Crime(Robing banks, Drugs, shoutout, and etc...)
All of those things exist short of the actual bank robbery. You can respond to the vehicle leaving the scene which turns into a pursuit, sometimes with exchanged gunfire, but you can't interrupt the robbery, as there's no way to enter the bank when not on that specific mission in GTA IV. I'm sure something can be worked out eventually though.

What ENB can I use?
Do you have a really small screen or play it on very low details or something?

I know I'm going to hell for this...
Was that supposed to be funny? Dude, if you live in Boston like your profile says, you should see fat black guys all the time (no offense to those who are black fat guys). I'm from Mass too, and most folks know there's a huge Jamaican/Cape Verdean/Dominican/Brazilian/Portugese population there, and it's migrating north very steadily. Oddly enough it stalls once you get to towns like Danvers and Lawrence. Nearly everybody north of those towns are as white as sheets. lol

Need help buying/building or upgrading a computer?
Gigabyte has a horrible reputation according to who? HardwareCancuks.com slated them at #2 in sales volume last year, only losing out to ASUS, and many of their boards, including the one I ordered were generally well reviewd. As far as tech support is concerned, I can't comment as I haven't dealt with them yet. That being said, ASUS isn't at platinum level either. In a Laptop Magazine review a few years ago, when asked to help setup Windows Homegroup, ASUS was able to tell them how, but not what Homegroup actually did. And as far as quality is concerned, I love ASUS, but two of their boards have died on me in the past. As a matter of fact, my current board, the ASUS M4A79T Deluxe, died after a year of ownership. But I didn't let that failure detour me, since simply put; stuff happens. Many of their electronics are mass produced by a company called Pegatron. And I could have just simply got a dud. So I bought the exact same one again, and it's working right now. I'll see if I can sell it once I get my new PC together. I didn't get an ASUS this time because I needed specific types of slots, with OC capability, with a specific price point and a reputable brand. So I went with Gigabyte. I've owned MSI and eVGA boards in the past too, and they also did well for the most part. The MSI's northbridge fan failed after 3 years which caused it to overheat and reboot at random. Again, stuff happens. Regarding power supplies, it's always better to have more wattage than less. Remember that a PSU that quotes 550W has 550W at it's peak volume. It doesn't consistently run at 550. And it's always good to be able to accomodate other devices for those who wish to put in other heavy duty devices like another graphics card for an SLI or CrossFireX setup. It may also futureproof your machine. I've had the same Thermaltake 1200W Toughpower PSU since the year 2006. This upcoming build of mine will be the third computer in a row I've used it in. It's been a great investment. People do need to be careful of amperage too. I blew out a 1000W BFGTech PSU trying to power an 8800GTX because it didn't supply enough amperage on the 12v rail connecting to my graphics card. I made sure not to make the same mistake twice. On a previous note, apparently my last post of my build specs didn't show up properly, and I'm not sure why. Lets try this again. Intel Core i7 3770K CPU GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H Motherboard PNY XLR8 nVidia GeForce GTX 670 GPU NZXT Apollo SECC Black Steel Case Zalman CNPS5X Performa Heatsink/Fan Also bucky16, have fun with that. You're likely either going to have to do a BIOS flash and a complete teardown yourself, or send it out to the factory which will likely cost the same amount as the CPU chip itself with shipping costs.

Need help buying/building or upgrading a computer?
I'd look into shelling out the extra bit of cash for a 660Ti, it can make a big difference vs. the stock 660. And yeah, I'd get a different heatsink if you're buying an unlocked processor. The whole point of an unlocked CPU is to overclock it. This is the verbatim build I ended up doing for myself: Intel Core i7 3770K CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116501 GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128544 PNY XLR8 nVidia GeForce GTX 670 GPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133452 NZXT Apollo SECC Black Steel Case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146025 Zalman CNPS5X Performa Heatsink/Fan http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118128 I already have 6GB of OCZ Reaper DDR3 RAM and a 1200W Thermaltake Toughpower PSU from my previous build that I'm just going to re-use for this system. I got a new copy of Windows 8 Pro recently so everything should be nice and modern once I piece it together. With some luck, I should be up and running again by or before this weekend. The things I posted up above were non-negotiable as far as change-outs were concerned, as I needed a standard PCI slot on my motherboard, plus overclocking potential, and I had a set amount of money I could spend from my tax refund. It's never a good time to have a computer die on you, but this was the best timing I can imagine since I got a decent chunk of money back from Uncle Sam that covers almost all of the cost here.

Need help buying/building or upgrading a computer?
I could if I wanted to waste several hours of my day, but I don't. And the minimum requirements for LCPDFR are the same as those for GTA IV. But people don't understand that the word minimum is literal. Meaning that it is barely enough to get the game to start. I've posted it before and people don't heed the warning because they either don't read it, or they don't care. Gaming on PC's is expensive. But those who can't or don't want to shell out the cash can always buy an XBOX.

Need help buying/building or upgrading a computer?
Yes, it will fit fine. ATX is a standard size. The only time you'd have to be concerned is if the case or motherboard says MicroATX.
