GPU Over clocking?
Try half a decade. Best of luck dude, I'd call it a waste of time and a potential death sentence for the card since that particular series runs extremely hot as it is. 100 degrees Celsius is not unusual for those 8000 and 9000 series cards running at stock clock speeds, and the shutoff point is 114 Celsius. 100 Celsius is about the boiling point of water. My advice: Get a new video card.

Target Practice With My Local P.D.
I'd love to, but first I need a pistol. And some ammo. That's gonna take a while. lol Handguns aren't cheap, ammo prices are sky rocketing, and the process of getting one is a lot tougher. Maybe in the coming year.

Target Practice With My Local P.D.
Thanks. lol Yeah it was only three times. My very first shot was the one in the bullseye area black spot (furthest left), the second one was outside to the right, the third one was on the center bullseye. They said 5 shots at first but they lowered it to three, I'm guessing due to ammo cost. They said it's about $50 for a box of ammo (however much that is). That being said, I'm no firearms expert. I can shoot a weapon, but if you asked me to clear the chamber or drop the magazine out on that Glock I used, I couldn't. Doesn't mean that I couldn't do it if shown, but they didn't go into all of that. As far as coaching Ceril, the only few things he pointed out to me were that I need to keep my thumbs 2nd knuckle below the slide since when it pulls back it can cut me (most pistols have an area for that anyway), that I needed to widen my elbows a little bit, and lastly he said to not anticipate the shot, because if you do, people tend to lower their aim a little. He didn't explain why, possibly in anticipation of the kick, I guess. But the recoil wasn't bad at all, in my opinion. I'm sure with practice I'd get good at it. And yes, I'd love to be able to draw relatively fast, although I'm not looking to be a cowboy or a trick shooter. He was a good coach. He is the firearms trainer for the department, and was a firearms trainer in the military for several years before that. He also happens to be the K9 officer for the department. Kind of a jack of all trades, I guess. I was able to get my hands on a 1911, a Sig P226, a P227, a Glock 27, a .38 Special, a pepper gas gun that is no longer in service, and the infamous M4A1 tactical rifle.

Target Practice With My Local P.D.
Thanks, I was happy with how I did. One of the older officers stopped me in the hallway and ribbed me about it. "What was that at, three feet?" Maybe at some point next year I can buy one of my own and get practice at longer range. The department I shot with use the SIG P226 (as do most around these parts) but this one was easier to start with, though it's no pea shooter. .40's a pretty good round. It has more velocity than a 9mm but better recoil than a 10mm.

Target Practice With My Local P.D.
I thought some of you guys might be interested, but if not I'm going to post it anyway. I had never held or fired a weapon before in my life, but I got some target practice in with my local police department last night along with some other people in my class. Usually I feel nervousness to impress, but I actually didn't have any "butterflies" going into the basement shooting range, and it felt pretty natural. I didn't need much coaching. Apparently my stance was correct, so was my knowledge of aiming down the sights and holding the weapons (thanks Battlefield/Call of Duty/Insert shooter game name). All I had to do was widen my elbows out a bit and boom. No massive kick, no muzzle flash that blinded me, and with hearing protection everything sounded fine. We shot at relatively short range (10-15 feet) but I think I did pretty well for my first time. The weapon we used was a Glock 27. It was pretty easy to handle and I liked it. .40 cal ammo and pretty newbie friendly. It was a good experience overall. (U.S.A.! U.S.A.! Sorry, just had to get that in; gun laws, etc.) Thanks for viewing, anyway.

Canadian Knife Defense Video
Was there a Ninja clan takeover of Canada in the 80's or something? What's up with all the swords? Dumb as the video is, it makes a valid point. I'd want to remain on top of that stuff ASAP with a quick "Get back in the car, hands out of your pockets." and making sure to stand out of melee distance when approaching someone.

Lockdown at my school
Let me put it this way: Most of us on this forum have interest in police work and understand the use of force, right? Police use force when they feel threatened and it is deemed necessary to end an altercation that could cause bodily harm. They will swiftly resort to things like tasers, which are generally non lethal and is used as a compliance tool before things turn deadly. A lockdown is like a taser. It is intended to prevent someone from causing any harm to anyone before the potential criminal can act. It's a measure of safety. I get angry people at my job all the time, but I've never had anyone directly threaten me. There's a definite difference between the two. Someone once did threaten a colleague of mine with a gun, we called the local police and one officer showed up and stood near the door for about an hour or two with his hand on his pistol, while other members of the department went searching for the man at his house. I don't care what kind of building your in or what you think of the person doing the threatening. Guns are no joke.

Very pretty. Somehow I get the feeling that the rambar would weigh more than the actual chassis of the car. lol

if you are planning to get the ps4 or xbox1 read this
So I guess that means you either don't know or don't care about Sony compromising credit card information twice or putting installing rootkits on peoples computers without their knowledge?

Windows 8.1 - Anyone have it yet?
That's a developer/publisher problem, not a Microsoft problem. You have to rely on 3rd parties to make drivers and updates for their stuff, and quite often a lot of them are too lazy or don't want to spend money to pay programmers to do it. It's one of the biggest reasons Vista got a bad reputation. No drivers for anything, so a lot of the stuff people bought 7 years before its release didn't work, and they blamed Microsoft for it. I've had zero problems with video games on Windows 8. It actually boosts game frame rates by about 2% even without a graphics card. For your particular game problem though, you might try running Drivers San Francisco in Windows 7 compatibility mode and see how that works. I had to do that with a wi-fi card that didn't have a Windows 8 driver. Installed and worked like a charm after that, though.

Computer Specs
I'd advise upping the CPU, it's going to bottleneck the graphics card you have. If you can't spend any more, upgrade the CPU and downgrade the video card to a 660.

Question about the GTX660
Seems okay, CPU frequency is a little low by today's standards, and I've never heard of that particular CPU model, actually.

How can I speed up gta
I guess throwing it really hard like a frisbee would make it go faster, but I don't think it will make your gameplay experience any better. Honestly dude, what the hell do you want us to say? Buy a better PC. There's no way around it.

a warning for you guys [foul language kids dont read
Freedom of speech, doubt he will get banned. Pro-tip: I used to be the CM Punk of LCPDFR YouTubers, the more popular I got, the more fans picked fights. And I used to fight back (like him) and I was good at it. But it was too time consuming. So I disabled comments on my videos. You can do the same. He will lose interest and go away. If he PMs you, that's harassment, and THEN he can get banned.

I Can Break These Cuffs
It's sort of similar to how I beta test LCPDFR, actually. Me: "I can... break this mod!" LMS & Sam: "You can't break our mod." Me: "UUUUUUAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!"

Favorite sidearm?
It's actually the same weapon. You can set it up to chamber either 9mm or .40S&W rounds. That's why I like it so much. Most departments in my area use it as well. And the P228 compact makes a great backup gun since it's smaller and easy to store, but it still fires .357 rounds. I also love the Beretta 92FS which can again use either 9mm or magnum rounds, and the M1911 .45ACP. Problem is those guns are harder to come by (the 1st one is no longer made and the 2nd one isn't made by its creator any longer, you can only get them from companies that copy them). I also like the idea of revolvers like the Colt Anaconda because it packs a massive punch and doesn't have as many misfire problems as semi-auto handguns do, but they're incredibly slow to reload and carry less ammo.

He's pretty cool, but I think the 'Best Police Officer Ever' award still goes to Officer Damiano of the Passaic County Sheriff's Department for classic moments like these:

What are your specs?
Gaming benchmarks are what I'm more interested in, but if you want to look at it from a pure processing power point of view like you're suggesting, here you go: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+FX-8350+Eight-Core Clean win for top tier Intels. This gaming benchmark test is a clearer measure for me, because it reflects real world performance. Intel wins again: https://teksyndicate.com/videos/amd-fx-8350-vs-intel-3570k-vs-3770k-vs-3820-gaming-and-xsplit-streaming-benchmarks I have nothing personal against AMD. I was running an AMD Phenom II X4 955BE just months ago before Windows Update trashed my OS and GPU firmware, but running Crysis 3 (as an example), I got about 45 on medium details at 1080p. With my new Core i7 3700K, without any overclocking I get 45 on ultra at 1080p. The CPU was the major bottleneck.

My favorite band changes every week because I have a big music catalog. I guess I'd have to say Shadows Fall right now.

Some Ideas For Future
1.) This would likely result in disaster from a crashing and pursuit craziness standpoint as you could potentially have multiple AI officers call in squads of NOOSE units which would at the very least, clog the streets and make the pursuit not fun anymore for people who have no mods in their game, and otherwise would swiftly cause crashes due to thousands of LCPDFR players using modded cars in their noose and fib slots. The game would have a high polygon count car overload and crash rapidly. 2.) This may be implemented although I don't see any real difference besides the liveries on the helicopter itself, and you should be paying attention to the road, not the sky. 3.) A good idea in theory, but after several seconds you'd fall out of range of a chase and it would auto-terminate because the AI unit took too long to get to you. 4.) That feature had been worked on before, and is well liked. You may see that happen. 5.) The way the computer system works in LCPDFR, this may not be possible, since as I understand it, our computer UI and controls overlap the one that's in the car. And why would you respond to calls using the PC? You use a radio in real life. 6.) The computer and its functionality in the mod has been actively worked on and changed throughout the last year or two of development, and you may see some navigational improvements, but currently I would suggest that this should take a back seat to actual features of the mod, since you spend a minimal amount of time on the in-car computer and most of your time chasing down the bad guys. 7.) I'm not sure what you mean by that. Can you elaborate?
