West St.Louis Officer Fatally Shpt During Traffic Stop
I've never personally heard Malcom X sing happy birthday to one of his kids, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. There are countless documentaries on him, and lots of literature. I'd take a look at some of that stuff. If you wish to hold up Malcom X as a model on how to live a good life and be a peaceful person, you need to first look at his life in its totality. He started out as a career criminal, who only converted to Islam once he wound up in jail, as many African Americans do. After that, he was largely anti-white and was not the peace loving, brotherly person he was towards the end of his life before being killed. I'm glad that he eventually grew into a person who cared for all, but it didn't happen overnight, and he's not the Tiger Woods of compassion, so to speak. Nobody should model their life after his. You'll have to ask the officer who fired the shots that question, or wait for his trial to hear a lawyer ask him. I'd put my money on the Hispanic officer who shot the African American man with a valid CCW permit on being overly nervous and not fit for the job. That doesn't make him a cold blooded murderer, contrary to what you, BLM advocates or other internet trolls might say. Unfortunately it does make him somebody who committed a homicide, as the definition of the word 'homicide' means death at the hands of another; and the officer will have to pay for it. The guy selling CD's who got shot prior to that incident on the other hand; isn't so cut and dry. Much like Eric Garner and other false martyrs in what has become a war on authority; he was painted to be a great person who wouldn't harm a fly. Then they discovered that he had a concealed gun on him. Then they discovered upon further review of the camera footage that one of his arms seems to dip to one side of his body where it is not visible, possibly towards the direction of the gun. Both of these killings likely could have been avoided had different officers handled them, and had the CD "salesman" not been carrying a concealed gun on him he had no business carrying; but things did not work out that way I'm sorry to say. On a more positive note however, think of all of the thousands of traffic stops that happen each day where people don't get shot and killed. My own mother was pulled over last week, and she's still alive, and better still; didn't receive a citation. Unfortunately, that didn't make the national news or get recorded on a cell phone camera. The idea that average Americans are going to fight the U.S. government and military is ridiculous. AR-15's aren't going to do anything against armored ground vehicles and air power. Put that stupid fantasy to bed. This is not 1776, it's 2016. You're advocating for the same kind of murder you claim to be against.

West St.Louis Officer Fatally Shpt During Traffic Stop
Let me start off by saying that it's an honor to have a celebrity (not a politician) like you visit our forum board Mr. Trump, thank you for taking the time. However, a large portion of police officers are either former military or active duty military, so doing that wouldn't have the intended effect. Also, all police officers are civilians. They're civilians from the time they clock out until the time they clock back in for their next shift, and they run the same risks of being pulled over, or robbed, or assaulted, or shot, or hit by a car, etc. as the rest of us do when they're not in uniform. Some of those risks actually increase while on duty, in fact, but I shouldn't need to tell you that, right Detective? And yes, Malcom X said some thought provoking things. But he also said "All praise due to the honorable Muhammad.", a conquering war lord who spread Islam by the sword and had a child for a wife and supported slavery. So not everything he said was great.

Dallas Officers Fired Upon at a BLM Protest (Updated 12:57 AM EST)
I think we need to distinguish between people who actually are registered members of BLM who make donations and attend meetings; actual BLM people, and people who support the movement and use the hash tag or the name itself to excuse whatever feelings they have or actions they want to take, regardless of whether these things are actually bigoted or violent in nature themselves or not. That's the problem with this movement. People on social media love using #blacklivesmatter. The vast majority of them are not actual card-carrying members of that group, and I'd wager the same could be said about our shooters in Dallas. Nevertheless, things have gotten out of control in the media and on the streets, and BLM has a hand in it whether the founders intended it after Trayvon got killed or not.

This trick for launching the game while offline (meaning you'd need to D/C from the internet before trying this) from a Rockstar Forums thread used to work, not sure if it still does *I have not tried this myself, I'm not responsible if you ruin your game*: Open the cmd console as admin and type first this: cd c:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V Then click enter after that you tipe this text in: GTAVLauncher.exe -scOfflineOnly Then click again enter and your game run on pc in storymode To clarify: Add the command line to the "target" line of your GTA V SHORTCUT, not the application itself

The officer is alive. He's in critical, but stable condition. Hopefully he pulls through. Wouldn't that be wonderful? But no, not in our lifetime.

Dallas Officers Fired Upon at a BLM Protest (Updated 12:57 AM EST)
I expect these people to practice what they preach, and not blatantly lie to push a racial-political agenda instead of using facts. The pro second amendment movement does indeed have its share of cop killers, but it's not nearly as vocal or anti-police as this movement is, nor is it increasing racial tension between black and white. That being said, the second amendment issue could easily have a thread of its own. It's probably best we don't delve too deep into that either, as the U.S. knows what's wrong with its gun laws or lack thereof, and it's inarguable that certain restrictions could have prevented this specific type of shooting seeing as it was conducted with a long gun by somebody with mental problems. But ultimately it's a United States problem, and it's up to the Untied States to fix it. When that will happen; who knows.

Dallas Officers Fired Upon at a BLM Protest (Updated 12:57 AM EST)
I didn't say that at all. I said they're a catalyst for people who want to cause harm and spread hate, because they're able to use the 'BLM' name or principle as a shield. BLM is supposed to be an equality movement, so when somebody criticizes actions taken or words said in their name, it makes the person calling them out look like the bad guy because he/she is not pro-equality. I have no doubt the people that started the BLM campaign had the right ideas in mind, but many of the people who hopped on the bandwagon in the weeks and months following its inception have not improved it.

Dallas Officers Fired Upon at a BLM Protest (Updated 12:57 AM EST)
You just did. And there isn't really a whole lot of content to sift through. I'm all for peaceful protesting, but this movement or group that may have been started by well intentioned folks who want to root out racism in the world of law enforcement has been hijacked by people who have ill will towards the police. Lots of people of color have even badmouthed the BLM movement because it just promotes racial tension and hate. Unfortunately, BLM probably won't go anywhere any time soon as a result of the police killings that happen all over the country, many of which occur in low income areas where minorities are more likely to be the victim. The best way to not respond would be to actually not respond, dude.

Dallas Officers Fired Upon at a BLM Protest (Updated 12:57 AM EST)
No, but they are a catalyst for it. This movement, organization, group, whatever you want to call it; is toxic. It's caused nothing but trouble since its inception. Bull**** "hands up don't shoot" protests (when the person in question did not actually surrender to the best of my recollection, but an entire NFL team did it anyway... don't push your political agenda in my sports game), intentional violent targeting of police officers and even white civilians in areas where shootings involving a white cop occurred, looting, rioting, the blocking of highways, interrupting speeches by major political candidates, crashing town meetings, the list goes on and on. Everyone deserves a voice, and everyone deserves to be able to protest, but everybody needs to cut the race card bull****. That's not the cause of every police shooting in recorded history, and I'm tired of seeing people behave like it is.

A Law Enforcement Career
You've got that right. Show them what you're made of, and you can change their minds. I was in my early 20's when I went on my first ride along, and the F.T.O. had told me that he would normally never consider hiring anyone below the age of 27, but with me he would make an exception because I answered his morality questions correctly, I had genuine interest in the jobs nuances like codes and lingo, the applications of certain laws, officer discretion, etc. (not just asking stupid s*** like "Did you shoot anyone?"). Show them you care.
-
A Law Enforcement Career
You can skip to :13. That's why you don't say "to help people", because that's the response you'll get. This is information straight from an F.T.O. I rode with. They don't want to hear any generic bull****.

suggestions for a new computer
You can use this to get a rough idea of what the graphical capability is of that laptop's video card: http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-R9-M375.142636.0.html NotebookCheck also offers mobile CPU overviews. That sort of laptop that you linked (the Lenovo) is about as good as you're going to do for under $1,000. According to the chart offered on the NotebookCheck website regarding mobile GPU's, the AMD graphics solution presented is in the lower portion of 'Class 2' graphics cards, whereas the GTX 960M in the laptop shown by DeputySellars is a low 'Class 1' card, an entire tier above. However, the CPU in his laptop is a Core i5, which offers no HyperThreading and has a lower base clock speed and TurboBoost clock speed, whereas the Core i7 you showed has a higher base clock, offers HyperThreading, and reaches a TurboBoost peak clock speed of 3.1GHZ (nearly meeting the recommended CPU requirement listed) when using all four cores, making performance someone comparable to a modern day desktop. Unfortunately it's a trade off. His laptop is graphically superior, yours offers speed and multitasking advantages. For a long term approach, I would advise to go with the computer with the better CPU (the Lenovo), as it's going to carry you further and overall be the more important feature when taking into account other games and applications you may want to run, especially if this computer is supposed to be used for the next four years. Failure rates of laptops can change year to year. In a 2009 study conducted by SquareTrade; Asus, Toshiba and Sony were the top three brands for reliability, with Apple and Dell following close behind. Then there was a 3% gap before Lenovo was seen. They sat at a failure rate of 21.5% over the course of 3 years (just under a 1/4 chance your laptop goes within 3 years), with Acer, Gateway and HP following behind. MSI was not a major manufacturer of entire computers at that time and was therefore not measured. Laptops are much more vulnerable to problems than desktops, so I'd advise getting a protection plan for it if it will be your only computer. See page 6 of this 2009 reliability study done by SquareTrade: https://www.squaretrade.com/htm/pdf/SquareTrade_laptop_reliability_1109.pdf In a 2016 study conducted by Computer World however, things looked slightly better: http://www.computerworld.com/article/3012211/apple-mac/apples-macbook-air-takes-laptop-reliability-crown.html An improvement from a 21.5% failure rate (according to SquareTrade) dropping down to a 18% failure rate (according to Consumer Reports). Once again, MSI is not considered a major manufacturer of whole computers, and therefore does not show up on the list. Due to their absence on these charts, you are taking your chances buying an MSI laptop as there was no easy-to-find hard data to show how reliable they are. My opinion: They are new to the market, so I wouldn't buy an MSI. I don't know where their products are assembled, what components they use, what their quality control is like or what their warranties are like. I know all of that information about the above brands, because I sold and repaired all of them at one point or another. You may consider asking questions to somebody who has sold MSI computers with inside knowledge of how the company makes their products (What motherboards do they use? Their own? Another reputable brand? Foxconn? Who assembles it? Them? Another reputable company? Foxconn? Do they pay this potential third party company a lot of money? Do they pay nearly as much as Apple does? Who makes the batteries? Who makes the displays? Who provides their tech support? Where is it based? Are they any good? How does their RMA process work? Do you need to RMA the laptop at all if it breaks? Are the components proprietary? Can anybody work on them? If you buy a warranty from the place you buy the laptop from, are they able to service it or do they have to send it out? etc.) If I were presented with only those two options; I'd pick the Lenovo. Both laptops have faults, but the Lenovo is the lesser of two problems because the CPU is what matters most above all in a computer.

1 firefighter dead, another injured in shooting
Completely forgot about this thread. My how time flies. Nobody said that, but around here, Ambulance companies are well staffed and areas of operations overlap, so you do get to go home on time or when your last run is finished, as a minimum number of ambulances must be running at all times. I can foresee states with lower populations and hospitals further apart having issues, but EMS audits are supposed to be conducted regularly for that reason, along with some others. Having those principles is important in the field, but so is keeping yourself safe. If the rescuer is disabled, then there will be no rescue. Not only for that patient, but also other ones after that call is over. That's not fair to everyone else who calls 911 for medical help. Self preservation needs to be considered in any job field, regardless of whether you're an emergency worker or not. A lot of people love to debate me on police work and say that more garbageman and taxi drivers die each year, which may be true. But those people aren't provided with tools to keep themselves safe, or protocols to follow that help reduce accidents. As an example, a garbageman does not get a vehicle with extremely bright flashing LED lights to warn motorists, nor do they park strategically on the side of the road to minimize the risk of getting hit. Garbage trucks are also not considered an emergency vehicle by the law, so there are no penalties for driving like an ass**** near one. Those are just a couple of examples. Fatalities and injuries will be reduced if the demand for change is there. Understand that physical threats can and do come from anywhere, and occur everywhere. The scenario you seem to be playing in your head when you think of physical aggression is, if I had to guess, when you're in somebody's home where you can freely leave and go back to the ambulance. This does not account for when you're already treating somebody in the back of your ambulance. You can't just run away and abandon the vehicle. And while whacking somebody over the head with your first-in bag (which has an oxygen tank in it) is indeed a method of defending yourself in a pinch (that was literally taught to us in EMT training), an actual tool that's meant to temporarily disable the ability to fight is a much better, and safer idea than trying to crack someone's skull. I disagree with your assessment that equipping EMTs and Medics with tasers would bolster that mentality. I feel it would give them a fighting chance to avoid on the job injury from a place it should never come from; the patient. It accounts for a very large percentage of all EMS on the job injuries each year, and I foresee that number climbing as drug use increases; especially synthetics which are undeniably out of control when it comes to both potency and availability. I think you and I will just have to agree to disagree on this.

Sorry to hear of those bad conditions. In my state, working more than 24 hours in a row is illegal, and beyond that companies are required to give you a minimum of 7 hours between shifts in order for you to get some sleep. Most people in any emergency worker job do 10-12 hour shifts, 24 hours shifts as an EMT or Medic are optional for those who want to only work 2-3 days a week. EMT starting salary here is around what you made at your peak, apparently ($14-15 an hour for no experience EMT's), and the state will provide you with health care if your company won't and you make mediocre or low wages. Medics in my area make a decent bit more, but it's still well below what I think they should make considering they're basically pocket doctors who can make the difference between somebody dying in agony or getting a speedy trip to the local trauma center with a good pain killer IV drip in them. An average medic would probably get about $40,000-45,000 per year working 40 hours a week. Obviously the real money in any emergency service job is in the overtime, which is easy to obtain in any branch (Police/Fire/EMS). I know of medics who make over $100,000 a year, but they're veterans of the job, and they work for their money. "Do no harm", as inspiring of a slogan as it is (in Latin or otherwise) is a doctor's oath, not one you take in other medical professions. It is however a motto to do your work by. That being said, being a U.S. citizen you should also be entitled to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" no matter who you are or what patch is on your work uniform. And you need to be alive and in good health to achieve that. The line you draw in the sand is the one that people step over when they put you and your partner in jeopardy. I agree that the psychology of having a weapon on your tool belt being detrimental to your image makes sense, but your good health is more important. A weapon can create patients, but so can an unpredictable patient or bystander. America is a strange country, and I think the unique circumstances emergency services operate under (1/3 people in this country are armed, drug use and abuse is continually worsening, the drugs themselves are getting much more potent), how they protect themselves should be different than other countries. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Is it possible to copy and paste your entire GTA to another system?
I don't think you can successfully copy literally the entire program and have it run correctly, since all programs in Windows have some sort of tie-in with the Windows Registry which is specific to your computer only, but core files such as the LSPDFR folders and their contents, RagePluginHook, your game saves, etc, I don't see why copying those wouldn't work.

Who would like the Cop Helicopter to NOT shoot at suspects?
So long as these ridiculous bullet proof armored cars and the Trevor-On-A-Rampage events are in the game, we'll need armed NOOSE helicopters. The AI shooting accuracy is pretty bad anyway, so giving them three shots wouldn't be a great solution to anything you consider to be overpowered.
-
Sleeping with Hookers and Strip Bar
The police officer you play isn't considered Michael, Trevor or Franklin. This is the reason why you can't use their concentration powers or buy things in the game. I had asked about this months ago when asking "why can't I buy food to heal myself instead of using a trainer or going to the station".

Politics
This seems as though it would fit under the 'Current Events' section, unfortunately. That being said, this is arguably going to be as annoying as a police instigated homicide thread, so I'd rather not talk about this either. =/

LSPDFR 0.4
The stop was BS, but he did document it with a written warning. I was one of the first to say GTA IV vehicle control and characteristics were way better than GTA V. Everything about it is worse. Speeds of vehicles, suspension, handling, damage/physics, PIT maneuvers basically don't work, and the BS ramming spot that immediately makes a car lose control regardless of your efforts to keep the vehicle straight. They more or less took everything good about GTA IV and threw it out the window when they made GTA V. Some things were re-done with improvements, some were made worse.

I'm under no illusions that Detroit will ever be "fixed". There will be no rebirth, despite inspirational songs/videos from residents. Not much of a rap fan, but that's actually pretty good. (Thanks, Ubisoft. 'The Crew' is underrated.) All filmed on location.

1 firefighter dead, another injured in shooting
Yup I mentioned the new fleet of vehicles and (few) new hires earlier. The city still has a long way to go. I highly agree that EMS should have some kind of self defense available to them besides their fists and feet. But I'm not sure I'd want them clearing out a dangerous scene. That's not their job.

LSPDFR 0.4
It isn't worth lodging a complaint for that. I can't get the 10-15 minutes of my life back even if I called up the station and said he needed his eyes checked. I haven't visited that town more than a few times since, and it's in a state I don't live in anymore anyway. As far as LSPDFR goes, the behavior for an AI suspect pulling over and stopping is exclusive to our script. It's hit or miss, but the mod is in its infancy. It took a while for LCPDFR to perfect it. I started out with version .91 of that mod and .95 was a HUGE step forward in almost every category. The cars in the base GTA V game and even in GTA IV react very quickly to sirens, although generally in the wrong way. When it's you in a police car, they tend to stop and sort of move over, but are often still in your way unfortunately. When it's an AI police car going by, they go crazy, slamming into walls, going into oncoming traffic and stopping. But that's opposed to GTA IV where they made absolutely no effort to yield to AI police cars as far as I can remember. That should serve as a hint to all of you as to how long it's been since I last played GTA IV.

1 firefighter dead, another injured in shooting
The first documented use of ambulances was during the Napoleonic wars. In America, the first ambulance companies started out as EMS pre-hospital care divisions owned by Commercial Hospital in Ohio and Bellevue Hospital in New York in the late 1800's. As a widespread public service, EMS as we know it today (in America) resulted from the 'White Paper' report published by the National Academy of Sciences in 1966. It standardized how EMS worked country-wide which thankfully meant that with time, your chances of survival didn't depend (as much) upon where you lived. The idea of profits over saving lives as you mentioned above demonstrates the selfishness and I'd even argue evil through greed that people have even in the 21st century. I'd like a reform, but that's not going to happen.
