ATI 5770
That would be interesting to know. Could be based upon what settings you used. Some settings hurt you more than others. Shadows and draw distance are probably the worst in this game. FSAA is non existent in this game, but I think GTA IV has FSAF which can hurt performance too.

Mmmk. Got a link for the sheriff vest guy? I have LCPD:FR in GTAIV, not EFLC. I assume that's fine?

My New Police Force
No, they are not right. I have the Tahoe already, and I have an outdated version of the CVPI.

How to run faster?
Turn your character's run speed into the one of the Mexican cop from the first island, or the skinny blonde cop from the third island. They run the fastest.

My New Police Force
Can you link to that car & texture pack? I'm running white patrol cars right now, I'd like to get back to traditional black & white at some point.

Failed suspect was killed?
That would be a clever response if the suspect still held the person at gun point. But he doesn't. He always runs.

Routine Police Work
Lately since xGessx helped me make a Sheriff skin, I've been taking a car all around LC since it's a county. Lets me be flexible.

ATI 5770
No, a 9800 or 8800 can't kill this game. I had an 8800GTX and the game ran like crap. I got a pair of 4890's later on with a new PC and that had about the same performance as my GTX570 does now.

Should I bake a cake inside my PC?
It very well may be the car. 85C isn't great, but it isn't bad. My GTX570 ran 79C. And Jay I'm surprised you spit at PNY but not at the fact that his card is a 250 GTX. My card has worked great and is built better than the "nVidia built" reference board (actually made by Foxconn). I've never seen that glitch with a car mod, but if you are both confirming it, that sounds probable. Could be that the model wasn't finished correctly.

Should I bake a cake inside my PC?
Those random brown streaks are called artifacts. They happen frequently with overheating GPUs *EDIT* Sorry for double post.

Should I bake a cake inside my PC?
Play it for a little bit. I want to see the card get stressed and give it a chance to heat up before you take a screenshot. *EDIT* Sorry for the double post.

Is 65C idle temperature or under load? Under load of course meaning in-game. If that screenshot is your idle temp, boot up GTAIV and play it for a little while, then hit ALT & TAB and look at your temps then. I didn't really resolve them per se. I used Riva Tuner to crank the fan speed to 100% at all times. The graphics card fan is supposed to be intelligent enough to keep the card cool, but I found that being in control made a difference. It still ran hot though. About 80C on idle back then, but I was told (and other owners confirmed) I did not have a defective card. Thats how the 8800's performed. The things nVidia do to make sure they beat AMD cards by 2%... Check this article out for a laugh, too: http://theory.isthereason.com/?p=534 This guy fries an egg using his CPU, literally.

Failed suspect was killed?
And I'm not saying the doctrine doesn't exist or isn't correct. It's just likely different in every state and must be rare. Your job as an officer of the law is to protect and server (as dry and generic of a slogan it may be), so if possible, you must preserve lives, even that of the suspect. Pull the trigger when he aims.

Routine Police Work
I may be putting up a few short tutorials on more average police work duties you can perform while not answering call outs. I'll see what I can record.

Your System Specs
I'm considering a Razer Anansi keyboard to top it all off, but it's a good chunk of change to blow on a keyboard. But it seems to be nice quality and it has blue LED's like the rest of my equip.

Does that sheriff skin work with both white and black police officers? I prefer to use character models that somewhat look like me, if possible. Also show off your crown vic and impala skins & models when you can. I'd love to preview them.

Download GPUZ (link: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2018/TechPowerUp_GPU-Z_v0.5.4.html) It's a handy information tool that displays lots of information about your grpahics card including temperature, clock monitoring, number of shader cores, production code name and number, etc. There is also CPUZ which you can use for your processor. Click the tab that says 'Sensors' and look at 'Core Temperature'. GPU's have a much higher tolerance for heat than CPU's. Modern nVidia GeForce cards can hit as high as 100C. According to PNY, I expressed concerns about my 8800GTX and they claimed they test their cards up to 124C, and it will auto-shutdown around 114C. Today's GeForce cars are a bit more stable. lol My GTX570 is idling around 50C with my fan speed at only 43%. With my old 8800GTX, I used RivaTuner (link: http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?page=rivatuner) to put my fan speed at 100% at all times. It's a bit louder but worth it to prevent overheating. You should also make sure your cable management inside your PC is good, and clear it of any dust using compressed air every now and then. My CPU is around 42C on idle right now. I'd say a safe temp is around 60-65 under load. You may use SpeedFan (link: http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php) to check the temperature of each individual core. But bottom line: I'm willing to bet it's your graphics card based upon the artifacts in your screenshots. I had similar issues with my old 8800GTX.

What are your system specs? Also don't use caps lock.

Where can I find these cars.
Does anyone have an Impala that matches up with those two?

Cars Missing From GPM
Can you post screen shots for each one so I don't download them blindly?

Anyone Got A Good Realistic Siren?
I found one like that but it adds in a couple of littler laser firing sounds after the noise-maker which I don't like. It was perfect otherwise. The Seattle/Tacoma Washington departments use it on COPS, as does a lot of places in California, Texas and New Mexico. I'd love a link to that and to the Unitrol Omega Delta. *EDIT* I think I found the Touchmaster, here's the link: http://www.4shared.com/file/MzbgwgjI/Federal_Signal_Unitrol_Omega_D.html

What can i do with a person after i ask them to step out of the vehicle?
Sounds like fun. Ticket him for $100, then gunpoint arrest him, then get him up and ticket him again, rinse and repeat. Good way to farm money, if only that mattered.

Failed suspect was killed?
The fleeing felon doctrine is probably different in every state, like many other laws. As an example, in Texas if you shoot someone that is facing you, it's considered defense under circumstances. If the person is retreating, with his or her back to you, its murder. But honestly how many COPS episodes have you seen where a cop shoots a fleeing suspect? My answer is zero. And I've seen a lot of them over the years. I watch that show religiously. I've only seen a cop shoot a lone, fleeing gunman/weapon holder twice ever. One was because when an officer spun around the corner chasing a fleeing suspect and the suspect aimed at him so it was a valid use of force. The officer shot him in the leg. He lived. The other time was when an officer in Lowell, Massachusetts was trying to tackle someone to disarm him of a knife, and the suspect charged at him and slashed at him. The officer shot him twice in the chest. He lived.

Funny moments on LCPDFR
That same thing happens to me once in a blue moon. I almost never call for NOOSE backup. They don't seem to show up for me.
