Hardcore mode
Problem is it would warp me back to the first precinct in the game. lol The game save I use is only a few missions deep so I have the cell phone, but I'm still in Broker.

Anybody have a link for this?
Wasn't aware there was a 3 min deadline. lol Harsh. No wonder some of my edits didn't work.

SNT & ELS?
I think someone mentioned in another thread you can disable SNT hot keys by changing a simple value in it's main config file, but I don't know. I don't use SNT myself.

Unless there's a recovery option when you load the DVD in, or if you're using the STEAM digital download version, then yes. You probably would be done with everything by now if you had re-installed.

Graphics problem
I've seen the glitch and it still happens to me from time to time. I do not believe it has to do with ELS or car mods, but I can't see the debugger for everything as it happens so I don't know. It probably has to due with your graphics cards inability to dump old textures and load new ones fast enough. You can try fiddling with your settings, and see how much of your graphical memory is being taken up. Your computers stats are terrible, which won't help either. You shouldn't be playing games on that thing. lol

Hardcore mode
Wow, wonderful video. Last time I tried a mission with the mod on, it crashed the game. lol

Tactical Sheriff Uniform
Some of the run speeds in this game are ridiculous. lol The Mexican cop looks like he has a bit of a beer belly and he can sprint his ass off. I won't complain though. Usefull to catch muggers who got a jump on you.

Re-install the game.

Does anyone have this car?
Looks like a Tahoe with an ugly skin. lol Never seen that skin before, but it shouldn't be hard to re-create it by the looks of it, if you give it to someone with time to do it.

Help again
Without putting up another big post, the original thread starters system is "okay". Not really good, not really bad. I wouldn't waste my money on a dual core processor in this day and age. It's already outdated as it is, but it will work when you buy it.

ATI 5770
I'm not about to download a .RAR/.ZIP file that I don't know, but my guess is that command set is going to turn off various features to boost FPS. So you're not really running everything at full settings, and not on 1080p. My machine has a GTX570, which is a $350 video card, and I can run things at mostly full settings, but not full at 1080p resolution.

What is the countdown for?
These are fine by me. lol Also the timer doesn't really reveal much. If you can't wait for the surprise, go play LCPD:FR, that will take your mind off of the new version. :whistling:

Tactical Sheriff Uniform
Nice skin Gess, but can you make one for a cop who's not fat? lol I'd prefer the NOOSE model that stands, with small adjustments to remove 'N.O.O.S.E.' from the back. I like him pretty much as he is. Only other reason I don't use him as much is because he runs slower than some other models.

GTA stutter problem
A 9800 is a stronger card despite its age, and you probably run it at a reasonably low resolution. Either that or you don't have everything maxed out. To the original poster: For a new video card, I'd try an AMD Radeon 6950. Reasonable degree of performance, and it's actually the same board as a 6970. You can even re-flash to BIOS to make it a 6970. Pretty cool stuff.

Need For Speed Hot pursuit
If you have TrafficFlow V5 it replaces civilian cars in your LCPD:FR install with those from a specific list. If you want, go edit it to have nothing but supercars. lol You better have a quick pursuit unit to catch up to them, or if you insist on a Crown Vic, don't hit anything or miss any turns. lol

ELS v6 crashes
It will work but you may not have as many lighting patterns and you can't use the spotlight while your overheads are on.

What is the countdown for?
We're all beta testers. .91 is a beta version, I doubt there will ever be a "final release" of a mod like this.

GTA stutter problem
That's because your graphics card is terrible and your processors clock speed is a little slow. A 6-core CPU won't help if the six cores aren't being used. So clock speed matters for modern games. Graphics card is the major perpetrator here though. Gut that thing and replace it with something more substantial, and a new power supply to run it.

Ford Taurus
Yes, most of it is budget based. Also remember that the interceptor doesn't even officially come out until 2012 according to Ford. The new Charger is already out, and I just recently learned about the new Caprice. It was discontinued in the late 1990's in the states, but oddly enough has been living on in the middle east this entire time. The charger looks the most appealing, and should have the best top speed. It has really terrible 0-60 acceleration for what the car is supposed to be used for though. Taurus wins out on that one. No idea how much it costs. That will be a determining factor for sure. They may buy them because of what the departments can save on fuel. The F.T.O. at my local department told me that sometimes the cars fun for days non-stop, one officer will hand it off to the other when his shift is over while it's still running. So fuel and dependability will determine everything.

Need For Speed Hot pursuit
I love the NFS franchise. Some of the games over the last few years have been kinda iffy, but this one brings the game back to its roots and it feels great. Almost like 1998 all over again. Loved it. Multiplayer was nice too, great sense of teamwork as a police officer, and a good rush as a criminal.

APB
I believe it's about 7-10GB in size. Very large. And unlike some of their first blog posts suggested, having the original game DOES NOT help. I have both the original installed and the new beta. I was a player from the original game, from pre-release until end, and I was also a closed beta tester for the new version: 'APB: Reloaded'. I can honestly say that I hate what K2 Networks has turned it into. The game itself is pretty similar, but all weapons and cars are rental. Ones you can own forever are few and far between, and they cost $60. A premium subscription also gives a substantial advantage, earning you a 30% bonus to XP and cash. The driving mechanics have changed for what I feel is the worse. Handling has a time delay and the weight and power of various cars have changed in a bad way. In addition, if you were an old player and you were looking to reclaim all of the things you worked hard for, bad news: Your rank (level), achievements, clans/guilds, stats, perks, weapons, cars, cash, contact standing and faction standing will be gone. Forever. You can't get it back. The only thing you get to keep is your character name, your customizations for clothing, and your character model. I was R243 (level 243) on my Enforcer before the game shut down, with 10 cars of various types, all major preset weapons and was saving for an NTEC Dvah , and had two level 3 perks and a level 2 perk. Those have all been wiped out, and you start in tutorial district again. I wouldn't mind leveling back up if the game was the same as before, but it's not. I honestly don't want to play it anymore. I was happy paying the $15 a month for what the game was, despite its flaws. The good news is K2 networks have (mostly) fixed the hacking issue by turning on Punkbuster, and are working on new content all the time, up to and including new districts. The bad news is that they ruined everything else.

Tactical Sheriff Uniform
I would have liked to run into a screen shot of one of the COPS episodes from Broward, but no such luck. Oh well. Internet is full of blonde chick pictures. Anyway, I'd love to see a skin like that. I'd also like it if I could figure out how to install skins properly. I followed all the steps in the 'readme' file last time and it ruined every police ped. Oh well.

I just said that.
