Just download it, check which files it contains and read the readme to know where the files are located when using SparkIV/OpenIV. But how long until they close down torrent sites as well? It's not that hard to imagine really. Once you pass an internet censorship bill, you can just about close down any site. As you said, the EU could very well vote for a anti child pornography bill, giving governments the power to close down any site that relates to child pornography. Governments could very well take that as an excuse to close down any site they want. Just take a look at what happened to Assange. The US is searching for some BS reason to still be able to get him extradited, regardless of EU extradition legislation. The thing is, there are tons of bills on EU and US level that make no sense at all, just like SOPA and PIPA. Absolutely right. We get support threads here every day and it's nice to finally see someone read the stickies and make a proper post. As for your problem, try installing this: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=17718 and this: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=5555 and reinstal the mod.

You don't have to worry about compatibility with LCPDFR, since script mods don't replace default data. And I wasn't talking about Niko as well. Just follow the tutorial to install the mods you like and you're done after that. Once you installed a car mod or player skin, you replace something default so you'll be able to select it in the selection menu. LCPDFR hasn't got a selection menu of it's own so when you install a mod, it applies to the whole game and not just LCPDFR. So when you're off duty, you'll see your mods as well. When you mod a car for example, LCPDFR will recognise that car as the original, no matter what you replaced it with.

Well, there are a lot of Ford crown victoria's, dodge chargers, chevrolet impala's and tahoe's out there, both slicktops (yes, that's without a lightbar on top) and marked ones. The thing is, we can't decide what you like. It's up to you to decide what models and/or skins you like. I'd suggest you take a look at GTApolicemods and the donwload section on this site and take your pick. Another choice you're going to have to make is whether or not to go with ELS. You have to realise that replacing all the police cars with ELS ones will put a lot of strain on your system and will surely cause some random crashes. Try to keep ELS for cars that don't spawn that much, like FBI and NOOSE and keep police1 and police2 non-ELS. However, that's just some advice, you're free to do whatever you like of course. If you have any questions after you made your choice, feel free to ask.

Please use the search function before creating a thread. There already are a couple of threads on how to install mods. I've already found two in 10 seconds: Anyhow, could you be more specific about your problem? Are the modded cars not showing up or is it the textures that don't show up?

I've tried this before and wasn't very fond of it, to be honest. The thing is, AI driving is pretty bad in GTA IV so all i saw was cars crashing against poles and being stuck instead of taking them down and drive on.

The diagnostics tool is a tool provided to make support easy. The idea is to install the tool, let it run and post the results here on the support forum. That way, we can see it and find out what is wrong. Merely installing the diagnostics tool won't solve your problem. Please post the results so we can help you out.

Regarding multiple cars to patrol LC, there is a way to do so: As for the skins, there are tons of textures out there, including CHP and LAPD based ones. However, I don't think you''l find them for the default police cars. How to enable multiple textures ingame can be found here:
