It's not your memory, the keys for RC1 are indeed different and F10 is air support while F11 is noose support. For a full list of keys, just press SHIFT+TAB ingame. :wink:

Pulled over the same guy a couple of times not too long ago and I asked myself that same question I pull him over every time because, like Custo said, the game only allows peds with helmets to be spawned on bikes and I like to give citations for not wearing a helmet once in a while. However, I do sometimes see a second ped with no helmet on the back of a bike and it's not always the afro man.

I agree with Jam. I highly doubt G17 would take that path since LCPDFR has always focussed on the police aspect and is enough work on its own. A firefighter mod would indeed be possible and very nice. I know it was a work in progress a while ago on gtapolicemods (FDLC:FR mod) but was abandonned because there were no scripters left. When you download a car mod for GTA IV that has multiple skins, it should say "multiple liveries support" in the description/readme. You can have up to 4 textures for one model. If you don't know whether the model has multiple skins, just use sparkIV to open the .wtd file and check if you see 4 skins. For example, if you open the wtd file and see police_sign_1, police_sign_2, up to 4, you know the model supports 4 liveries. If you only see one skin, you know the model does not support multiple liveries and unless the model is unlocked, you won't be able to change that. Car mods can be found at a couple of sites like http://gtapolicemods.com/forum.php, http://www.gta4-mods.com/, http://www.gtainside.com/en/news.php, http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/index.php. In order to be able to make car mods, you'll have to learn how to do 3d modelling. It takes a long time to learn and is a lot of work. What you could learn in a short amount of time is to make textures for already existing models. Regards

You will never get 100% chance of no crashes when using ELS or any other mods. That's something you have to take into account when modding. As gnat326 said, when replacing vehicles that spawn a lot, you increase the risk of random crashes. In my experience, I get an occiasional crash once in a while with almost every police car modded to an ELS one except police.wtd and AI ELS turned off. However, these crashes are rare and don't spoil my gaming experience. I would advise not to turn AI ELS on since I experienced way more crashes when enabled.

As a fellow student, I would like to seize the opportunity and ask you some questions: 1) How is the studying coming along? And another thing. Is it really that bad with tuition fees in the UK because I have quite some English neighbours in my dorm saying the money is just ridiculous. 2) I saw on your profile you chose computing science. Hmm, strange. I'll try it out again tonight when I'm done studying all these damned drugs. Do you use ELS as well? If so, do they look decent with L3EVO installed?

Do you use 1.0.7.0? I agree that L3EVO looks very good but when I try it, the brightness is just way too high and I get the red sky bug.

I've tried a lot of ENB's for GTA IV 1.0.7.0 and the only one that doesn't have the red sky bug and works properly with ELS is ChinagreenElvis' ENB. This however has the disadvantage that you have the default sky clouds to eliminate the red sky bug. The ENB clouds just don't support 1.0.7.0. This one however is a good one for EFLC but I can't rule out you'll have no red sky bug: http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/eflc-enbseries-v11-f10653 If the ELS lights aren't bright enough, you can change that in visualsettings.dat. Just put in a higher value after "other emmisive lights on". Mine is set to 50 for example. Regards
