A convicted drugs and weapons dealer started shooting and throwing grenades today in Lieges, Belgium, my country. So far there are 4 dead, including the shooter, and more than 100 wounded. I would like to pay my respects to the victims, especially since 2 of them are just kids. One 2 year old is still fighting for her life and one young man lost both his eyes. I would also like to congratulate the emergency services for their excellent work. That there are people willing to throw grenades at little kids is just beyond me... @Dhruv: I swear to you that I explained the steps to edit textures in my own words. Do you mean you posted a sparkIV tutorial or something like that with the same words? That seems inevitable if we're talking about the same tutorial. :confused:

1.Open Spark IV 2.Find the desired .wtd file 3.Click 'edit' on the top right corner 4.Find the livery you want to replace and click it. 5.On the top,click 'Import texture' and import your texture. 6. Do this for the other textures you want to replace as well 7.Click,'Save and close',then 'Rebuild' and 'Save'. And voila, you're done. :wink:

To answer your questions: 1. You could replace the polpatriot with a CVPI mod. However, the handling would be screwed, the engine sound would be that of the default patriot instead of the default crown vic and the textures wouldn't fit as well. 2. If you want to be the only one driving around in your modded car, you could indeed use the fbi slot or the noose slot. Those cars rarely show up. Depends on what engine sound you prefer. 3. A mod is always optimized for a certain type of default car. You have to take the handling and the model itself into account. Also, the textures wouldn't fit if you used them on another model. A lot of CVPI mods are indeed optimized for NOOSE but I think what you mean is a NOOSE patriot(polpatriot). If the mod says "Noose.wtd", it means the default slicktop noose cruiser. If it says "polpatriot", it means the hummer like you said. 4. "+livery" does indeed mean 4 different textures. So if a car mod says "multiple liveries", it means that you can have 4 textures for the same model. These textures will appear randomly in the game. If you want to change handling lines, go to common/data/handling.dat and adjust the line you want to change. I hope this all sounded understandable. There are plety of other people on this forum who know more about modding than me so if you still don't understand, I'm sure other people will help you out as well. Indeed. That's why I mentioned Aparna's link. The skin in that pack says "Maryland" instead of Alderney but has a K9 livery. Hope I helped.

I've built myself a custom pc and as Lil-Rich and Jam said, it all depends on which budget you're willing to spend and your own preferences. You could ask people like Iconography or Unr3al for some advice. I would be willing to do some prosecution work as well. What I do suggest is that the prosecutors try to type a real sentence and fill in the demanded sentence as well as the sentence spoken by a judge since the prosecutor is not the one who speaks the sentence. For example: "Regarding the evidence...(fill in the evidence that could incriminate him/her or other incriminating circumstances),the prosecution demands 1 year of imprisonement and a 500 dollar fine." After that you put the judge's sentence with possible extenuating circumstances or other reasons for a milder sentence or acquittal.(just make stuff up) For example: "Taking into account the clean criminal record and the financial status of the accused,The Liberty City Municipal Court sentenced the suspect to 250 hours of community service." Opinions are more than welcome.

You nailed it there. You could even say that's the society we live in today, unfortunately. I am in no way against standing up for your rights but I think people of today have become too cocky. They think they can sue you for just about anything, even if they clearly didn't obey the law. I can't speak for other countries, but out here there is almost no respect for LEO's. It's a shame really, since respect is one of the most important values I think.
