  2. What's New in Version 0.9.0: two new callouts, two new world events, minor changes and cosmetic additions.
  3. Here's a full episode, seems quite OK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aDv5u5346Y
  4. If I were you I'd read ScripHook.NET help file, then API documentation and then make plans. Eg. you don't have to create peds/vehicles for your callout, you can claim ownership of one of existing entities so player won't ever see a creation of a car that pulls over to buy drugs. The sequence with dealers is doable but I'd reduce it to one ped and a car. You can browse animation you can use with OpenIV.
  5. Feel free to post here. I think it's a good idea to use this topic, everything will be in one place.
  6. Ohi FinKone, "API Example" with world events is already available in LCPD:FR release package (GTAIVLCPDFRAPI Example) and @GitHub: https://github.com/LMSDev/LCPDFR-API Feel free to ask, I might know answers to some simple question about 'cooperating' with GTA by script
  7. I'll tell you more, this is still happening in NYC.

  9. It can be done with API. You can set the task of a driver to go to a certain point with a given Vmax. In most of cases it let him drive quite safely when you set his speed to a moderate value. It is implemented in one of my callouts and work pretty good.
  10. That would be easy to do for the devs and could open some new possibilities for modders. @BlackJesus1: as a creator of this topic it'd be great of you could make a nice list of suggested items, eg. IDs of unknown origin (you don't know if they are stolen/counterfeit etc.), knife, screwdriver (let go or "take downtown"), machine pistol, and so on. It could help when devs decide to add some.
  11. Our callouts are in most cases more complex than the built-in ones, that's why: 1) there's higher possibility to make a mistake while coding -> a bug occures (community should help in developing by reporting crashes), 2) creating more peds, cars, objects bumps the risk of a memory allocation failure. Using a code as an external *.dll or included to the LCPDFR library shouldn't make a difference.
  12. If you really like the job and wanna get the feel how's to be like one of the finest learn the street, develop some situational awareness, analyze people you meet walking down the street etc. Street smartness will help you in everyday life and is a legit attribute unlike a collectible badge you'll hate when something bad happens because of it.
  13. Michael, I thought about something like you described but my main concern was: what a player can do about such mayhem? I'd love to read a suggestion of a complete callout including a patrolman's role. LukeD, excuse me for interfering in your topic
  14. 1) forceduty instead of going to the station. 2) Calling a transport RMP to pick up your suspect. 3) Collecting spawn points for callouts while using modded GTA (with the map you wanna play on ofc) or using functions to get a closest point on the street/pavement to some given position around you. I see no problem at all but I might don't know about something important.
  15. That message is displayed by the PoliceHelper/Braveheart's mod, are you use any of them, aren't you? I'd remove them and retry to arrest a ped.
  16. After adding -windowed the game (GTA IV) starts in window mode with a full title bar. Alt+ENTER switches it to full screen. I guess it's working as intended.
  17. Yea, I've got it already on my 'to-research' list but I can't promise anything, time will tell. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion and have a good time, I hope you've still got some features to discover!
  18. Many sources @Twitter confirm that all scums are dead. They said they will wipe them out and they did. Well done, really well done!
  19. Another MOS dead: http://7online.com/news/1-suspect-surrenders-search-for-2-more-suspects-in-paris-terror-attack-that-left-12-dead/465204/ ...and an ordinary tax payer injured. Everybody who lives in France, watch for yourself. You never know when and where it can happen again. If you feel sth is wrong just get the hell outta there, you can be late for school, work etc. but it's better to be late than dead.
  20. Between 8AM and 4 PM (game time) try to open the console and run a command: "startcallout burglaryreport". It'll tell you if it's not workin' or you just had no luck.
  21. Do you get a welcome message after going on-duty? Do you see a message about going 10-8 after entering Bohan? You can try "startcallout muggvic" (in a console) to force a callout. Check these and report back.
