  1. That's because it's RightStick, not RightThumb. // If you use a controller, you can choose the button which activates // the custom backup menu. For a list of valid button names, see // http://docs.ragepluginhook.net/html/558BC34.htm. //CustomBackupControllerButton=DPadRight //CustomBackupControllerModifier=None CustomBackupControllerButton=RightThumb CustomBackupControllerModifier=None
  2. ELS will only be active for vehicles that there is a VCF file for the slot present. So, make sure there's no VCF files for the vehicles that aren't ELS, and it should be fine.
  3. Which vehicle model is it? The vehicle modeler might have linked the takedowns as part of the High Beams as well, which would cause them to turn on with the high beam headlights. I mainly see that being done with non-ELS vehicles, as there wouldn't be a way to toggle the Takedowns on otherwise, but that isn't needed with ELS Vehicles.
  4. Delete sheriff.yft, then make a copy of sheriff_hi.yft. Rename the copy of sheriff_hi.yft to sheriff.yft. This is by no means a perfect solution (since there won't be any LODs for the vehicle model, which is bad), but until a fixed release is sent out, it's the only way to fix the issue.
  5. If you read the README included with SirenMastery (the latest version), it tells you how to use it with ELS Vehicles.

  8. Not at this time. Until the siren audio strings (not hashes) are found for the other sirens in the game, the only siren audio slot that ELS is able to use is the Police, Police Secondary, Police Warning, Police AHorn, Ambulance Warning, and Firetruck Horn sounds. You could use Siren Mastery with ELS to get the other siren audio options though.
  9. Interesting. Mine is working fine after the update.
  10. Sounds like it's not installed properly. Do you have the VCF (Vehicle Configuration File) for the vehicle installed in the ELS folder where it goes? Also, do you have ScriptHookV and an ASI loader installed?

  12. Those are the audio hashes, not the audio strings. ELS needs the strings that the game engine uses to play the audio files, not the filename/hash.

  14. Once the audio strings for those sirens are figured out, then yes it will be able to. Right now, only a couple of them are known, and that's because they're the same as they were in GTA:IV.
  15. vehicles.meta will go in mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5. Right now, you should be able to just drop the provided vehicles.meta into there, however as future game updates come out, you'll need to merge the changes from the provided one into the original vehicles.meta file.

  17. Would it be possible to tweak the police1-3 model skins slightly to change the colors? They have 2 livery options, one for City PD, and one for Los Santos County Sheriff (which is awesome by the way), however they look EXTREMELY similar. Just the text is changed, not the color. Would it be possible for the Police livery to have a blue splash/stripe and text, while the County livery stays green? That would help differentiate between the two vehicle skins. For the City PD text, a blue center with white/silver-gray outline would look good, on a dark blue splash behind it.
  18. I figured out how to fix the disappearing cars issue. Replace the sheriff.yft and police4.yft with the sheriff_hi.yft and police4_hi.yft files. If you open up the original yft files in OpenIV, you'll see that the car chassis is missing entirely in the non-hi yfts. As far as the sheriff2 lightbar issue, I'm looking at that right now to see if it's something easily fixable. EDIT: SHERIFF2 LIGHTBAR FIX! You need to either install the vehicles.meta in the 2015 Tahoe folder in the archive, or edit your vehicles.meta and change the "diffusetint" setting for sheriff2 in it to be "0x00FFFFFF", instead of the original value. Then, when you get in the vehicle after it's spawned, the lightbar won't be blacked out and you'll be able to see the lights!
  19. Great pack, only a few minor issues. The lightbar on the Sheriff 2015 Tahoe (sheriff2) is blacked out in-game (looks fine in OpenIV though), and doesn't light up. Also, the Sheriff 2016 Charger (sheriff), and Unmarked Police Car (police4), disappear when you walk away from them. Looks like an issue with missing LODs. Other than those issues, great work!
  20. CMSW is tagged as city by the game for some reason. If you go up there and call for backup using LSPDFR's backup menu, you get city units.
