I am proud to finally present my LSSD Pack featuring a 2011 Crown Victoria, 2013 Tahoe (Marked and Unmarked), and 2013 Charger (Marked and Unmarked)! All vehicles feature ELS-inspired lighting setups (complete with environmental lighting) all accomplished without the use of any scripts or plugins. The lighting setup features all Federal Signal equipment and is complimentary to the other vehicles. The vehicles also feature the following extras:

  • Extra 1: Spotlight up (Sheriff Units)
  • Extra 2: Spotlight down (Sheriff Units)
  • Extra 7: Setina Rambar
  • Extra 10: Panasonic Arbitrator Dashcam
  • Extra 12: Stalker Radar Unit
  •

Thanks to @FirstThirtyMinutes for featuring one of the vehicles and including an installation guide!

Installation uses OIV packages and is as simple as can be. To install the vehicle, just follow the directions in the readme or watch FirstThirtyMinutes's video above.

**If you experience your game crashing on start-up after installation, please download and install this gameconfig.xml to fix the problem: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/add-on-car-crash-fix

The Charger/Tahoe in the FIB/FIB2 slots currently don't support multiple liveries (just one) and I'm not quite sure why. I have the vehicles.meta set up properly. They do accept a single livery however, and their marked counterparts accept multiple liveries.

One last note: the included textures were quickly tossed together by me and are vanilla style. They aren't the best, so I apologize for that. If you would like to change them, templates are included. If you make a good quality black/white sheriff skin and would like me to use it as the default for my pack please message me!

Enjoy!

First off I'm going to start with the installation, using the open iv package installer to install five cars in 1 minute is awesome and something that I haven't seen before. 10/10 for that.

Lights:

Let's face it they are the best and closest thing we have to ELS. They are very bright and good quality. Not to mention the strobes which add whole new level to the setup.  10/10

Models:

Needless to say they are on point. Done with care and attention to details. 10/10

Developer:

Well first off he brought something new to the lspdfr experience big thanks for that. Second of all very responsive to messages and feedback. 10/10

So whoever is thinking about installing this pack and hasn't yet decided it's a must have.

Best vehicles so far needles to say they are my everyday patrol cars.

So in the end of my review I give this pack and the developer 10/10.

Sorry for my bad English if there were any mistakes.

This, along with the LSPD pack, are definitely what I choose over ELS, hands down. Crazy huh; no ELS in this day and age?  In my opinion, it's so much more simple, the environmental lights look better, and the light patterns are top notch.

I just have one issue, and it's that with the Sheriff vehicles, the lights don't show (coronas and textures). The environmental lights are visible, however, but in the colors of green, purple, and yellow. I still have yet to find a solution anywhere online. Maybe @Captain14 can help? A link to my threat about this below:

Other than that, this mod still lives on, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that still uses it in singleplayer. Brilliant work!

Every update just gets better and better. I love what this pack is turning into. I have no better way to describe this pack as simply amazing. This is something the LSPDFR community has been waiting for; especially me. I love the excitement in the lighting patterns, the strobes, the different vehicles. There are still a couple of things I personally would like to see improved/added, but play no effect in the outcome of my review. Unlike Amazon's bias reviewers that claim to make un-bias reviews in exchange for a free or discounted product, I am actually capable of giving an honest review.

Bunch of sappy stuff:

Spoiler

I joined this community back in July of last year. I purchased GTA V for the PC specifically to role play as a police officer. Law enforcement is something that I personally have taken a great interest in these past couple of years. Why? Well it's just a cool job. The uniform, the equipment they have, the vehicles they drive, the lighting system on the cars. It's all fascinating to me. I love the idea of being a police officer; however, I don't think I could handle the physically aspect of being a police officer. So when there are mods like LSPDFR that essentially acts as a bridge for fantastic developers to come and create amazing work that people like me can be a part of and enjoy... Well, it's just f****** mind-blowing; for a lack of better words. Don't get me wrong, I have a great appreciation for EVERYONE who has created a car, siren pack, callout mod, or any mod that furthers the experience of being a police officer. There is some really amazing work on this website, but the biggest problem in the virtual world is trying to capture the realistic world. I have yet to come across anything that truly captures what it's like to BE a police officer. Now to be perfectly honest; these cars don't really capture that experience either because there are things that are missing on them, but it's the closest thing I have ever seen in my time on this website. I'll list those things below in my "Suggestions" list but first I want to say that the flash patterns these cars have (especially the new unmarked Tahoe) are remarkable. Of course, there are scripts that can do the same thing. But this isn't a script, that is what makes it so cool. So @Captain14 I highly encourage you to create a portfolio of your work and submit it to Rockstar, along with a job application. The lighting patterns, strobes, environmental effects from the lights. That is what I want to see in the next Grand Theft Auto. A more realistic experience with police cars. Your work really is amazing and I really hate to nit-pick it, but I have some things I would like to see improved. :3

Suggestions:

  • Push guard with an optional wrap around as an extra.
  • Better spotlights and use-able spotlights as an extra.
  • Stationary antennas and one moving antennas as an extra. (Moving antennas are my weakness)
  • More cars. I would love to see a 2015 Tahoe, 2013 FPIU (explorer), Ford Taurus, a 2016 charger, I suspect an unmarked Crown Vic is on the horizon :P
  • Improve the dirt mapping on the vehicles. It gets pretty bad really quickly, and for me, the CVPI seems to only get dirty on the inside of the glass. Which blocks out the two LED lights in the back window. Somewhat annoying.
  • Add support for multiple liveries. Even the unmarked units, I would love to add a few skins to make some slick top variations.
  • Add some prisoner cages.

DISCLAIMER: I received a free copy of this pack for an honest and un-biased review. (I didn't receive anything. I just saw this on Reddit today and decided to make a joke.)

Beautiful Models beautiful PACKS in general

Your packs rock and this isn't a but this is actually more of a request :D Something kinda neat that could be interesting long run speaking x'D - and perhaps make said layout pack in-line with ELS?

Do you think you could make a master pack

1) LSPD Obviously

                             - Sub Note/Request with this - Can you make Police 4 Highway Patrol textured & Police Bike make it nicer w/ highway patrol matching texture :D?

2) LSSD/BCSO [like with the variable textures] with a Pickup Truck or something along those lines so its not so selective in the choices

3) Fire/Rescue Pack with addon vehicles there

4) EMS Pack with addon vehicles there as well??

Best lightning pattern currently available on any police car in GTA 5. Love the "strobing" effects on the front and rear lights.

"Default lighting" is no longer an excuse....fantastic job! I'd love to see functional spotlights added though, and a steelies option for the charger. Maybe in a future update?

Newest update seems to have the sheriff lights all messed up. Both the Tahoe and Charger have only red lights and the CVIP has some weird orange lights only.  What happened?

I didn't think that a car could get any better than Bxbug's Charger. I was wrong. This pack is incredible. Here are some screenshots20160928192300_1.jpg20160928192725_1.jpg20160928192731_1.jpg20160928193111_1.jpg

Great pack, and it was an automatic install using Open IV. I have not seen a single vehicle creator who has vehicles that are automatic install with the exception of Captain14 & 3 by Bxbugs123; why is that? Apparently Captain14 is the BEST vehicle creator and we look forward to seeing more from him!

These cars by @Captain14 are absolutely brilliant, a must have for LSPDFR. LSPD, Sheriff & FBI packs are amazing. Great work.

I hope a Ford Taurus will be added and also I think a SAHP Pack would put the finishing touches to anyone's game.

Many thanks for all your hard work.

How to uninstall this? My FBI cars are working perfectly but sheriff cars' lights can't work correctly.  So I want to uninstall my sheriff cars or to know how to fix it. I really don't know how to do. Hope somebody can help me. In conclusion, this is awesome.

Great cars!  The only problem I'm having is my lights aren't very bright at all.  They don't spread the light beams out if you know what I mean.  You can just see the outline of the actual light rather than seeing it spread.  Any way to fix this?
