[ELS] Los Santos, Blaine County, Sandy Shores Mega Pack 1.0.1

Hey! Could you make a 2013 Tahoe with the valor? I love these cars!

I really like this pack but one thing I can't wrap my head around is, why put TA's on umarked vehicles? It just has no place in a realistic unmarked/FBI style patrol, you don't see detectives running around flashing TA lights around cities. Other than that well done!

This isn't meant to be a real place, but I will take your criticism, and I will add two versions into the pack, to fit this two areas! Around me I have seen unmarked's with TA's because they are not Detectives (Even if they are I've seen them with it, sometimes), but mostly on traffic enforcement unmarked's..

Im aware of the issue, and currently have no way to fix it. It will be fixed when I am able to. I went on break after releasing this (Pre-Determined), but as it was only 2 cars, it was worth releasing due to the fact that is is a 100% Complete pack, with the few Minor bugs (Windows, and Car Disappearing)

okay..nice to hear that you try to fix it , becuase if installed every car from your pack and don't want a disappearing (awesome sheriff charger) in my pursiuts

I understand! I was trying to figure out how to fix it before release but couldn't find out how. So I decided to release before I went on my break. But I will have my old computer with me so I'll see what I can do at times when I'm in my break.

the lights don't flash for me i did what you said but i am confused about the els pack_default thing can u please help me

The rambar on some of the cars are shiny.

Add all of the VCF's into the pack_default folder

it seams like a really simple task but im cufused still is it supposed to go

ELS> pack_default then the VCF's or

ELS pack_default then the VCF's

Hey. Love the vehicles, but there is a small issue for me on the sheriff cruiser vehicle.

Backup units appear like that in the distance.

its possible to make it as dlc file? so i can keep all my other police cars? :/ 

ah i figured it out people should start menting for new mod users or returning ones who have never used ELS before ( like my self) that they need this mod

Absolutely love this pack, great work man. I am having a problem though. On the Tahoe the top light bar with blacked out and it doesn't activate with the rest of the lights. There are also no lights on the back expect the lights in the bumper. This is the only one I am having trouble with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Great pack, only a few minor issues. The lightbar on the Sheriff 2015 Tahoe (sheriff2) is blacked out in-game (looks fine in OpenIV though), and doesn't light up. 

Also, the Sheriff 2016 Charger (sheriff), and Unmarked Police Car (police4), disappear when you walk away from them. Looks like an issue with missing LODs. 

Other than those issues, great work!

I figured out how to fix the disappearing cars issue. Replace the sheriff.yft and police4.yft with the sheriff_hi.yft and police4_hi.yft files. If you open up the original yft files in OpenIV, you'll see that the car chassis is missing entirely in the non-hi yfts. 

As far as the sheriff2 lightbar issue, I'm looking at that right now to see if it's something easily fixable. 

EDIT: SHERIFF2 LIGHTBAR FIX!

You need to either install the vehicles.meta in the 2015 Tahoe folder in the archive, or edit your vehicles.meta and change the "diffusetint" setting for sheriff2 in it to be "0x00FFFFFF", instead of the original value. Then, when you get in the vehicle after it's spawned, the lightbar won't be blacked out and you'll be able to see the lights!

Both issues have been addressed in comments above. The Lightbar you have to install the provided meta. and the LOD's are being fixed.

Would it be possible to tweak the police1-3 model skins slightly to change the colors? They have 2 livery options, one for City PD, and one for Los Santos County Sheriff (which is awesome by the way), however they look EXTREMELY similar. Just the text is changed, not the color. Would it be possible for the Police livery to have a blue splash/stripe and text, while the County livery stays green? That would help differentiate between the two vehicle skins. 

For the City PD text, a blue center with white/silver-gray outline would look good, on a dark blue splash behind it.
