Correct, RDE uses a gameconfig, which is game version specific. I do believe they post mediafire links to updated configs on the gta5mods page for it, if that still exists.

I mean, we are technically breaking their EULA, but I'd consider that their fairly neutral on mods. Of course, it'd be nice if they did, but that wouldn't happen.

ScriptHookV is an indirect requirement in updates, since RPH uses it's values to update to the new game version. I can't tell if you think that SHV is developed by Rockstar, but just in case you do, it isn't. (Also, they are providing free content, that would probably be locked behind DLC in most other games.)

Why in gods name are you talking about reverting? RDE uses a custom gameconfig, I believe, so it needs to be updated.

Did you reinstall them fully (i.e delete your mods folder and redo it) after the update? If not, do that. If you have, then there may be some required update, I don't use them, so I don't know what files would need updating or changing.

Um. Radiance V does still work. I think you mean there are other alternatives to the modification which are completely un-needed to at least get it working, and considering his computer specs, I don't think installing MVGA would be a good idea at all. @HZS, You have tried changing PostFX and Shader settings, correct? You say you changed options but don't specify which ones.

Also for Retail, you can use @Justin991q's Update Blocker to stop the updates.

I really doubt that you'd use the high refresh rate at all. I don't know of anyone who plays with mods on high/max settings with over 100fps. Over like, 75FPS, I don't think there'd be a useful difference unless if you competitively play something like CS:GO. Save your pennies and just go for something under 100hz, I'd say.

Not to mention, that it appears that if it's detected Version 0, that you haven't installed RPH in the main game folder. @Nikopol, I'm sure he saw that, but was alarmed it was showing Version 0 instead of 1011.

I don't even know. All I know is that people on Dual Core, like yourself, have reported major, unplayable texture loss.

You can feel free to edit the handling.meta file that comes with the car to suit your style.

He's on a laptop, with integrated graphics, and a dual core. Basically, @2Sierra16, you won't be able to play GTA V properly because many people on Dual Core's have reported extreme texture loss, not to mention that your graphics are FAR, FAR, FAR below the requirement to play GTA V at anything more than 15FPS...
