I had this and ended up just reinstalling the game, was the update 54MB and crashing out at 51-3MB?

For the launcher issue, you'd have to try and get support off the R* website. You updated Scripthook V? If you use it, of course.

As as I have stated, you'd have to head to the reCAPTCHA guys to help out.
