The Wasteland - callouts for Bohan
I actually meant that I did call an ambulance, and the LCPDFR crashed right after... Sorry for no log, I'll try to recreate that situation and see what comes out. About creepiness in your callout, yeah. I can never beat the terrifying story of a zombie virus, of course :) The 'homeless harassing LTA passengers' call at night. It's dark, it's foggy, and lights are dim. Total emptiness on the platform except a dead body lying right on the rails. No signs of homeless people or any people for that matter. I'm confused a bit - what can I do with a dead body on the train path? All of a sudden a train approaches, then departs - and I see on the other empty platform a creepy-looking hobo with a red arrow above him. He stands there and just be looking at me. Then he turns round and slowly leaves. Watch your back at nights on those empty stations, friends. He's still out there.

The Wasteland - callouts for Bohan
Really love how those callouts are organized. Just responded in my unmarked Stainer to a potential drug deal with siren off, and called in some backup just to be safe (LCPDFR usually has a small army with rifles on that callout). To my surprise, backup also appears siren off, and drives to the waypoint with me. We split up, I turn in the alleyway, they turn other side, and we start searching. I see the guy, he sees me and runs for it! I follow him on foot, he turns the corner and - SURPRISE! - there's my backup unit standing behind the wall and taking him down with a taser shot! Damn that was so realistic. Another one: we had a 'man with the gun' call. When I arrived projects police were on the scene asking for help. We charge and see two guys in this stupid gang clothes. Project cops jack one, put cuffs on him and then the other guy takes a gun and starts shooting. That was really unexpected so I shot him so I could wonder without interruption. I also noticed in man with the gun callout that if NPC arrest the perp they don't put him in the car and they just stand there, and I can't arrest him too. And in the paramedics require help call if you beat down the suspect and call for an ambulance they don't treat him. And finally in the fighting callout you can't stop them from fighting until you beat them to death... Not complaining or something, this really doesn't disturb too much, just provide some feedback :D

Tasering a moving car
since Taser works like a pistol and all the drivers stop and jump out and start screaming like hell, it may work :) Tasering an escaping criminal won't help, though, I tried it just now. on the other hand, I didn't try it with a motorcyclist...

The popo got a prius!
Well, they use Go-4 for traffic, so it's alright :D Guess it's an unmarked detective car. No criminal will ever suspect five-0 riding a Hybrid till they hear that killer-siren!

Should UK Police Be Given Standard Issue Guns?
It would be so cool if you were right. Unfortunately, my country again steps in. We have very strict gun laws (thought all the criminals can get a gun with no problem), and we have a high murder rate. Before I got transferred to the economy crimes department I did four months in the regular dept and saw no body with a firearm wound. Stabbed, hanged, beaten, strangled, poisoned, hit by car, burned, drowned, you name it. Sometimes people actually beat each over to death with bare hands. Ironically the most part of major shootings were done by cops who gone crazy. (I'm not saying nobody gets shot, it just very rare). So people kill, yes.

Should UK Police Be Given Standard Issue Guns?
I'm sensing a trace of sarcasm in your response... Well, first things first, it's really really hard to shoot straight with Makarov pistol, the only service weapon except AK our patrol police uses. As an army lieutenant I spent some time at the shooting range and only got qualified by luck. (Fired 8 shots from 20 meters, hit 3, and pretended two overs were mine) As far as police training goes, I know for certain they don't spend too much time practicing except special units. But yeah, they do shoot legs and arms. Usually that happens when perp tries to touch the weapon, so it's a very close distance. I know couple cases when they aimed at the body, but the suspect usually survived. Road patrol shoots tires from a moving patrol car using same pistol - you could check it on Youtube. I personally never heard that a police officer in our city used AK to fire at people, it usually just a warning shot, so no chance to test accuracy here. And, finally, regarding that part of your post: when people say that the police should try and aim for arms or legs I just laugh and know that they have probably never fired a pistol I don't tell what they should do, I only tell how they usually do it here. The place I work, we never carry guns, so they don't train us to use them, and I know no police training programs. Just telling my observation. I guess you still have to cope with the feeling you just ended another life. That was actually the whole point of my post :)

Should UK Police Be Given Standard Issue Guns?
Gun is a great responsibility. Here, in Russia, police is taught to target legs, hands, to fire warning shots, and though they are allowed to carry guns they use them extremely rare. But, for example, in the US cops are trained to aim at the center of mass (I'm not an expert but I suppose it's deadly). So, basically, having a gun is a right to kill. That's a terrible responsibility, really. Does anyone remember a high-speed pursuit of Corvette in LA, when one officer fired a beanbag at unarmed suspect but others misunderstood it and shot the guy down? Of course it was justified, you resist - you get got, and all that. But still, the guy is dead. So I think no. UK police managed to last till today without guns, so I guess they'll manage to keep peace there for another couple of ages.

Irish to US Police Officer
Which ones don't? When I still believed it'd be possible for me to stay in America I researched this and didn't find any state that wouldn't require citizenship for government service

At some point in time Swedish police force used black-and-white livery (which I prefer much more over that battenburg nightmare). All the cars are Swedish with the exception of some Plymouths.

Anyone Know How to Get GTA Online $ Quick?
I agree with ineseri on here. Same ways as for the real life dollars: robberies, thefts, shootings, hijacks...

Gotham (2014 TV series)
Well, for starters I'd like to say that I'm not into that superhero bullstuff too much. I liked first and second Batman movies, but the whole idea of some superhuman/superpowerful/super-well-built sky-flying ninja-style crime fighter (or evil fighter in general) made me wince. Crime fighting is a hard and dirty work, so ordinary cops may be considered those heroes, no need for bats, thanks. But the series are something different. Here we have a touch of a fantastic antiutopia in shape of a large, rainy, sprawling city filled with crime and criminals, where business is money and money is all, no that 'evil for evil' stuff. And that's the place where a cop hopes to do his job. The place reminds me of Sin City with this atmosphere. For now, only two episodes are out, and I love it so far. Ben Mckenzie, the guy I remember as a patrolman in Southland, certainly learned his lesson on the West coast. Maybe he'll do more good here, on the East side. His partner looks very natural to me: a scared bent copper who knows how to do it but lost his enthusiasm long time ago. I'm also familiar with Don Falcone: that's major Rawls from Baltimore city PD, homicide, The Wire. And I especially like the Wayne kid. Usually it's hard to find a teen who can act good. All in all, it's not a masterpiece, of course (only films made before 1980's are masterpieces :D) but it's good. So tell me, how do you feel towards it and would you take a look at these series?

The Wire - the best police drama I've ever seen.

Officer Report system?
Well, you always can open MS Word or Notepad and write a report or two, print it, sign and stamp... Besides, in my country on-scene reports are usually done by pen, so it's easy to do even now. I mean, if the point is to view those reports out of the game.

Please tell me they are still used in Finland. Our police had a couple of lovely American cars in highway patrol, but now they're scrapped, I guess/

Is using your personal car legal?
Well, at least this Hatzalah guy uses his personal vehicle... And violates the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Hong Kong & Democracy
So, how do you evaluate your chances? From what I've read about China government, they never surrender easily.
-
Hong Kong & Democracy
Well, we already having our little soviet order back here, with censorship and political police and invasions into neighbor countries. For me, Red is and always will be an evil, and being a part of the UK is much better for me that being a part of some red monster. And I wasn't proposing any invasions by Britain either, just thinking whether Hong Kong would prefer joining them. On the other hand, if it wasn't for Britain, China would have assimilated Hong Kong right after the Handover and it would become just another part of this country.

Hong Kong & Democracy
You call that crazy? In 1989 on Tiananmen Square up to a thousand peaceful protesters were murdered by the PLO army. That's crazy. I knew some people from Hong Kong, they were always saying "HK is not China". I wonder if it will be possible for the UK to join Hong Kong back :3

Have you considered adding SWAT tanks from EFLC at 6th lvl? Could add some difference in tactics.
