  1. Some random pics before I head back to my unit LASD 1925. Plain-clothes unit, Night Detail 1960, again LASD. Note helmets - at that time even deputies in vehicles wore them. Parking enforcement on Willys! Love those buses
  2. I did that for sure, although it was some years ago!) I even forgot the source for some time Your pics are amazing, thanks you for sharing!
  3. Some of my favorites :) Bomb disposal unit 1968 Plymouth A-a-a-and... Emergency Services Dept from 30's!
  4. The first one is 1946 Ford, all units on the second pic are 1949 Fords, and the third one is indeed 1957 Ford. Here goes another 1957 pic - with roof-mounted speed radars!
  5. What would you say about an RMP like that then?)
  6. Minnesota State Police traffic control post. Love the livery. Baltimore PD And law enforcement SUVs which I always adored Finally, a little bit of New York's Finest! Emergency Services Division Oh, a question! Do you enjoy those NYPD pics? I have a lot of them and would be glad to share if this fits the topic.
  7. Did anyone mention British police? :)
  8. Oh, I understand him, Iin school I hated being laughed at and if I had at least some tanks I would have shot, skinned, decapitated, burned, and eaten the guy who publicly laughed at me
  9. Well, if someone has no problems with showing cops their cell... Just show it them! Do not force other people do the same. I generally like police, so I would help them in any way, including showing my phone and answering their questions, but that's my decision, not a legal requirement. An officer must have either a probable cause (and a real one) or a court issued warrant to forcefully invade other people privacy. If an officers knows the guy is on the line with his dealer right now, he definitely can take a look at the number. If an officer is in a bad mood, he sees a guy and says 'Gimme your ID and ur cell, I wanna check if you've been calling Usama', I don't appreciate that. In other case, like Strike said, why would we need search warrants at all?
  10. No, if you can guarantee that there's a way to get them all without violating our rights.
  11. And let many criminals get away in process.
  12. I highly doubt government has enough employees to follow every person and monitor all the email and conversations. I do suspect though that this may be used in case of a particular suspect. In The Wire (telling story, obviously, about monitoring) Baltimore cops tried extremely hard to listed to known drug dealer conversations. I imagine a device like that could help them. There's another issue if we question the government officials' trustworthiness. But that has nothing to do with the device itself.
  13. A masterpiece. I can't remember anything better than this. Thanks, Olanov.
  14. I was patrolling Acter Industrial park when we received a shots fired call. I raced to the scene, calling NOOSE, National Guard and the Spanish Inquisition (it's not like we have firefights in our Industrial area too often), and saw a very strange and spooky picture: eight people were on the ground face down, all in the same pose, hands up. All DEAD. And noone in the area except me! Damn, that was really weird. I remembered F.E.A.R. where supernatural powers executed armed Delta guys. Coroner said they 'tried to fly'
  15. I remember a lawsuit by a corp head from EVE Online. He sued his corp pilot for wasting an expensive ship. Unfortunately, court dismissed the case because it had no jurisdiction in the space of New Eden... Yeah, people definitely do take games too serious.
  16. At least it doesn't have those strobes on the sides, it always annoyed me... And I enjoyed front lighting setup, it fits this truck right
  17. The only problem I experience with controls in v1.0 is that I almost never can open suspect's vehicle trunk. I always get on my knees and write a citation. However, sometimes when I need to write a citation, I open the trunk :D
  18. I thinks many anthems contain a reference to almighty. I'm not a too much believer myself, but that doesn't offend me in any way. It's always nice to know someone up there bothers to look after you.
  19. I mean when it was introduced into the game world.
  20. I liked the command center and the local equivalent of Enforcer. But the interceptor...What's the deal with this P O L I C E liveries? It first appeared in some of NFS, if I remember it right. And now it's even in GTA V.
  21. I was expecting Glendale and Blade look more like their GTA SA counterparts. Blade does partially, though.
  22. Speaking about British immigration. I'd love to live in UK and work for the John Law down there. Unfortunately, for me it's even more harder than getting back to US. As a potential immigrant I'm open to hatred :D
  23. Looking at numbers, we'll find that only 5% in Britain are Muslims. About 87% of population of UK are native citizens. There's no big deal with the immigration. Just media looking for hot topics.
