  1. Great! *goes to get some ice in case the GPU melts down*
  2. I sees BCSO old-gen Staniers there. I feels good.
  3. Will check this one out, thanks!
  4. Hi! just a question here... Does anybody know by chance a mod that allows to haul vehicles (bikes included)? To attach them to a flatbed or something. I'm trying to get to Mt Chilliad to ride my dirtbike and striving for some roleplay. I googled the hell out of it, so I guess the answer is no, but who knows! Thanks!
  5. In Russia corrections is probably one of the worst fields to work in. Prison chiefs are gods in their domain, but the rank and file soldiers work in awful conditions for such low pay they almost forced to engage in something on the side to make ends meet. Most wardens know that and demand their cut, so corruption flourishes. Law enforcement is aware of it, of course, but most prisons are far away so they don't care. Worst thing is that the actual bad guys -- gang leaders, corrupt officials and multimillion thieves -- can buy themselves whatever they want, while regular guys go through hell.
  6. Looks actually better this way.
  7. The original model was introduced in 1972, however, my guess is this is mid-90's. NYPD has something like this... Don't know how old it is, but looks like straight from San Andreas.

  9. Assuming their lives worth people's time and money, that is. They are mature, they have made their decision, and guess it's up to them to face the consequences. What we could do is stop messing up their countries (Far East was considerably peaceful before our countries tore it apart), but I'm afraid that's too late. How would you prove him being a terrorist? My country had those Special Tribunals in 1930's, essentially just teams of three NKVD officers, who decided once and for all whether you're an enemy of the USSR. No court, no lawyer, no rights, no appeal. No proof. This approach kinda sucks.
  10. Out of curiosity, how many of those people end up killing folks, you think? However, 40 months... more than 3 years... Seems like a fair punishment to me. This time I think they're going away for good. Nice.

  14. Like a month ago a friend suggested me The Shield series... It was an eye-opener, I have no clue how did I miss it in the past. Basically it's a several-season story of a LAPD strike team in a fictitious version of Rampart. Filmed in 2002-2008, it reminded me of The Wire and IMO is better than SouthLand (I like 'em old and grainy, with huge cell phones and rotating beacons). I might be wrong, but I absolutely liked the characters. From the beginning they looked like your ordinary tough corrupt cop, an honest captain and an idealist black gay cop from the neighborhood, but the impression broke apart after a few episodes. I hardly remember any series where I changed my opinion on characters so fast, and that's good (however I strongly identify myself with Dutch - a slightly weird arrogant guy with self-esteem like a mountain, who sometimes is a great detective and who has incredibly back luck with girls ). After season 3 it gets kinda repetitive... But if you like this stuff I believe it'll keep you entertained.
  15. Well if the energy would be produced by solar panels and tidal powerplants... Why not. However if not they'd better consider how much traditional power plants harm the environment. On the other hand, today it looks nice on paper and by 2040 no one would remember it. Besides, you can extend some deadlines, delay that for another 10 years...
  16. The team is working on the 3.1, where this issue would be solved, if I'm not mistaken. Guess there's no use to upload a 3.0 version only for a fix if 3.1 is close. It's just me guessing tho.

  18. Like those cool Sheriff Ranger, for example? The best police vehicle in all 3d series, in my opinion. Shame only a 3-door version was available.
  19. I wonder if that word on the street that Noor was hired due to affirmative action and not due to his qualifications has any point. at this time all I can say is that people who get the job due to being related to someone, calling in a favor, corruption or some other way rather than due to merit, seldom make good professionals in any area (let alone a job where you're trusted with a gun and immense authority).
  20. So, is it established now that this wasn't a negligent discharge? "Overreacted" is a bit too light, in my opinion. If this was a deliberate reaction, I wonder how this officer made it through the selection process and the academy.
  21. Apparently RDE has some issues working with the latest EUP.
  22. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/midwest/ct-minneapolis-police-shooting-justine-damond-20170717-story.html My guess? A gross case of firearm safety rules violation. If that's what it is, such incidents do not help the law enforcement to build trust with people. At all. However, we don't know the full story... However I'm struggling to think of anything else.
