[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
Of course not. What's better than driving though a thunderstorm at night in good company?

Why is CHP the most popular state agency in the US?
I'm from Russia and I could do this and tell something about German police too. But then again, I don't know anyone around me who could/who cares.

G 20 RIOTS
If I were the owner, I would really doubt whether the capitalism is evil here.

G 20 RIOTS
These protests look like a game to all these people. Rave parties, marijuana, alcohol, causal sex, some fun messing with 'ose bastard cops, ACAB and all that... They discredit the idea of a true protest of citizens again an oppressive government. On the other hand that may be the purpose.

Regular arming of UK police
@Hystery is definitely 'spot on' that terrorism can't be fought by doubling robocop patrols in subways or arming cops with machine guns. It takes nothing to get a truck or at least a butcher knife, but those who set people up to this are who really should be targeted. However, we'd probably disagree on how it should be done...

Regular arming of UK police
I always maintained that's a great tradition and shows how well-respected the police in the UK are. At least is supposed to show, in my opinion. Now I'm not sure whether the nice gesture worth another life, considering how many people (especially immigrants from completely strange cultures) consider unarmed cop as a weakness that shall be exploited. If it was up to me I'd probably increase the number of AFO patrols (or whatever their proper name is) and promoted the expasion of firearms training. In this day and age an officer of the law has to know how to fight back (if he doesn't like it or is a pacifist or whatever may be it's better to become a bus driver. Sometimes it's not about what you want, it's about what the society needs).

A US touch to the Aussie police car fleet
What's the purpose of that 'Random Testing' van in the background? Sounds rather ominous :)

OpenIV discontinued | Take Two claims game modding "illegal"
I'm not sure about the LC Project or what's the deal with it is, but as far as it comes to EULA... I believe Russian devs are covered by Russian laws, and as GooD-NTS stated they did not violate them. So guess T2 picked out the simplest reason available and went with it probably knowing it would never be challenged in court.

Petition to Take-Two Interactive & Rockstar Games RE: OpenIV closing
The post on the gtaforums says the OpenIV team has been accused of violating Russian law. That would be a pretty straightforward court battle, as I'm convinced no law has been broken here. However, OpenIV devs were right... The legal action would cost them hundreds of hours and tons of money, only to prove nothing really. Shame.

Is lethal force justifiable for a knife?
Interesting. I never heard that. I wonder why rural forces used it back in the day too, as there were not too many buildings with upper stories? However a large part of my info about rural constables is acquired from Jeeves and Wooster series, so I might be tad inaccurate :D Regarding the scarf I partially understand what he was trying to say. I strongly believe that uniform shall be unified for everyone regardless of religion, tradition or any other voluntary preferences. If you can't both satisfy religious/traditional requirements and uniform requirements, you have to choose -- everyone, with no preferences to anyone. However, considering that many US agencies allow headscarfs or uniform turbans, this picture is not related to this thread in any way.

I', not sure why he is that angry, but maybe treat this gentleman like a drunk guy who wants to pick a fight with you when you're walking down the street on a summer evening. If you don't want to shut him up, report :^) Usually he talks very reasonably though

This is what i thought of US and UK
I believe it's much harder to get into Singapore than in the UK. Consequently, there's lower number of immigrants to control. For us residents of Asian countries it's really hard to comprehend the western guys' mindset :D

I got PayDay2 for FREE :D
At least they are voluntary. But subscription is better... When Eve online became partially free, the quality of players decreased.

900 High School Students in Georgia Groped by Officers During Warrantless Drug Sweep
Wait, you mean like without warrants or not in connection with an active investigation, they lock the school down and search for drugs? I only had something like that in the army and observed in prison :D No one would dare to pull that off in my country...

Pointy helmets are cool! A unique trait lasting for years.

900 High School Students in Georgia Groped by Officers During Warrantless Drug Sweep
Sounds like something LSPD would do. If that's true, the place needs a new sheriff and a news school administration. Fast.

[WIP][REL] Police SmartRadio - The Successor to Police Radio
Tried today LSPDFR along with RDE and all Albo's mods. When pressing the Police Radio button on the traffic stop LSPDFR crashes (the game keeps on running). Not sure if police radio is the culprit though, but just in case here's the log -- who knows. I can't get anything out of those lines... RagePluginHook_08062017_204335.log

How prevalent are roadblocks in 2017?
In this situation who bears the repair costs?
