[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
Been playing for a few days with the 3.0 version, it's so neat! I love foot pursuits now, just like the GTA IV. I only wish they could give tickets instead of arresting for everything, in this case I would even stop and surrender. Also the warrant feature is quite good and well-thought.... except probably for the moment where you die in a pursuit (jumped from a cliff in my case) and they think you've got away. "Hey Sarge, this guy just jumped down and probably dying, should we move in?" - "Nah, son, wait once he leaves that hospital!" And another one... The heli sight radius. Kinda small, in my opinion, I was able to outrun it on a highway in a mail truck. I didn't got away -- a LSSD Patriot suddenly jumped me, but still... Nitpicking aside, the mod is absolutely fantastic. I can only imagine how much time, effort and nerve cells you guys invested in this project and it's really a masterpiece. Thanks.

Help: GTA V immersion mods
@Harper thanks! I'm open to all suggestions regarding realistic stuff, textures is definitely one of them! @TheUniT and @11john11, thanks for the replies, now I have physics and sound I'm going to use :) I though hardly anyone will notice this topic, but you guys proved me really wrong!

Help: GTA V immersion mods
Hi! I wasn't around for quite some time being busy IRL, so I kinda lost track on all new mods out there. In fact, right now my game's updating in the first time since August. I used to sit and look through all mods on here and other sites, but I guess a lot of new stuff is out and I have a lot less time to do research, so I would be really grateful if you could suggest a good physics mod (for vehicles) and probably a good weapon sounds mod. Thanks in advance!

Melbourne Car Attack
Happens even in peaceful places like Australia, I guess. I do hope that's only one event of its kind, though. I would have shot him if I saw him charging towards people. Afterwards it's only about apprehension... Wild West is on the other side of the globe...

That Moment When You Need American Cops
Oh yeah you're back [2] Nah, that's because our law technically doesn't allow traffic police to enforce laws outside of roadways if there's no immediate danger to people, and they were unsure if there is one. Russian laws... Weird. American police would have got him already. You can't tell from the video, but it's the aftermath of a two-hour long chase originating in a nearby town...

Freeway traffic jam prewarning
On belt highways in Moscow and Saint Petersburg there are LED displays on overhead ramps which may warn you about a traffic jam ahead. Or may not. Or that warning may be not accurate. Over than that, nobody cares. And even if they care, road police have no vehicles equipped for that. Our government allows drivers to use online maps with traffic jams indicators

That Moment When You Need American Cops
I mean really. A drunk guy drives through an airport in a major city without even getting shot at. It's even more than we can do in GTA (because airports are inaccessible, right). I think I did it in Need For Speed though, felt good. Or was it a stadium? Anyway, thanks God it wasn't a terrorist. Because if he was, none of the people inside would survive. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2465517/russia-kazan-airport-drunk-driver-video/

Attack in Berlin
I was always wondering about why our government places heavy construction vehicles to block streets and alleyways on events like this. The Nice made me see. However in my country they did it long before XIX century and probably were expecting some internal threats rather than external. I hate it too when an innocent group of people never known for any violence whatsoever is targeted. Intolerable.

President
Funny, when in Russia anything is leaked regarding corruption among high ranked and/or election the government blames it on American hackers. Apparently when something goes wrong on the other side of the pond they blame Russia. Convenient for both parties involved.

I'll rephrase myself then. It is not crystal clear for me that Trump prompted 'right-wing terrorists' to kill her. It is clear though that protesting now because left-liberal candidate lost the election is hypocrisy because those very same people would be praising Hillary's victory (completely forgetting of how unfair the US electoral system is all of a sudden). I'm glad that for the next couple of years liberals won't be telling me what bathroom to visit and what gender pronoun to use. Oh, and that a criminal isn't going to be in charge of the white house. As of right now you've probably labeled me a right wing terrorist so please kindly don't bother replying, I do realise how retarded I am and all that, thanks.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the link. It's good she lost then.

Do you mind posting a link to that quote? I'm a foreigner but followed your elections pretty closely I believe, but somehow I missed this moment when one candidate proposed to kill another.

Man impersonates officer in late night rural traffic stop
Nah, that's because in the States if a man has some shiny brass thingie in his wallet that's enough to consider him a law enforcement officer. As far as I know undercover officers don't even have to show their ID to people, at least not in all states. The world is already complicated, is there really a need to overcomplicate things when you interact with public servants? Maybe a hundred years ago a sheriff wore a silver star and everyone knew who he is, but now... You can order any badge, any patch, and almost any car online. Disaster waiting to happen.

UAZ Hunter Police Russian DPS
Вчера видел Ваишный Хантер с LED на крыше, стробами на радиаторе (красно-синими) и wig-wag tail lights, как это тут называют. У ВАИ, конеш, свои заморочки, но все-таки.

Deleted.
A drunken dispute ended up with someone being shot. Has noting to do with anyone being a cop, as far as I see. Moreover, that's only one side of the story, in that news article. I especially liked the part there a guy says it's black on black thing. What an idiot.

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 2.2.1
When driving around Fort Zancudo with wanted level I see civilians driving Insurgents (or whatever those large armored trucks are called). That's funny. Not sure if it's related though.

Was this necessary
Ummm by boots I guess. Batons are "special equipment" and must be reported if used, bats ain't standard equipment, fist hits harm skin, so they're out of options :D
-
Was this necessary
As far as the US law enforcement goes, no casualties as a result of the incident is already good. In our correction facilities there are no non-lethal devices. They would have to beat the hell out of that guy...

Was this necessary
Was that a real gun? (I can't play the recording with sound right now)

2017 Ford Police Lineup
Well for example in Russia there are lots of old Soviet piles of rust "with a radio and a lightbar", underperforming 20 years ago and today. They do their job just fine because we don't do much pursuits here (and even when we do you won't go too fast if you have no roads, eh?). Those who misbehave end up here, he-he. Optimized for two, but seats up to five. Makes the ride especially enjoyable. As far as I see, in the States you have wast distances with great highways, a lot of guns and crazy people who shoot cops for anything and for nothing, Plus Americans love big beautiful cars, right?

Riots In Milwaukee
Maybe. Politics is a dirty business, in the States, in Russia, or elsewhere. I'm just trying to point that I'd be blaming the mayor or the Governor, not the cops. Or at least not only them.
