Looking for a "red light" mod
I've noticed how that mod is quite buggy. Sometimes it doesn't work, and sometimes it works when you don't want it to. Like if you do a u-turn people will deliberately block you by driving behind you and stopping there. What I suggest doing is move only a tiny tiny bit forwards (or backwards) when you're sitting at a red light, and then they'll stop trying to overtake you. You have to keep repeating that like every 3 seconds.

Pull over a car using sirens/lights/horn only?
Also if you don't want the "pull over" speeches, you'll have to either mute your player or change his voice to a civilian (they don't have the megaphone speeches). If you want to use the siren, like on a manual mode, you should replace your airhorn sound with a very short siren sound (like 1/8 of the wail siren, otherwise it'll get messed up) and then you can pull people over with a siren sound too, not just the airhorn. If you use the actual siren, the stupid peds usually stand on the brakes and steer right out of your way.

If you have a mesh that you want to move with the door, you'll need to ATTACH that to the door with the "attach tool", and what you did with the extra part (that is the els light itself (extra_1 to extra_9)) is you LINKED that to the door dummy (the dummy is the thing that holds the _L0, _L1 and _[COL] meshes). Linking is when you pull something onto another dummy / mesh and attaching is when you attach 1 mesh to the other one, resulting in having 1 mesh. So basically what you need to do is attach the mirror light to the door like it was a simple part of the door (like the mirror is).

I'm glad it works well. Yeah FWD cars could be more stable, they tend to understeer instead of oversteer. And yeah he went by the name of yakadafi, then changed to EVI. I think he even changed name from EVI to something else once, but you can find him as EVI on lcpdfr. Also the Chevy Caprice handling has been updated on the first page.

Really it only depends on what exact mod you are using. This is a texture modification for LCPDFR giving you a background that looks similar to the MDT used by the California Highway Patrol. The real MDT features a touchscreen and you can select all the icons, however since this is just a texture mod, those buttons do not work. Go to 24:11 When he grabs windscreen_ok in the hierarchy, and drags it onto windscreen (that is the dummy itself) that's what linking means. If windscreen_ok had something linked to it, it'd stay linked to windscreen_ok, even after you link windscreen_ok to something. When something is attached to something, you can't see that, because 2 meshes after attaching one to another becomes one mesh. You can only attach 2 meshes, not dummies. So if he'd say attach windscreen_ok to windscreen_L0, the 2 meshes would be in 1 single mesh called windscreen_L0.

If you don't know what linking is: You can do that by taking a look at your hierarchy on the left (where everything is listed, and you can expand stuff. Like look for chassis, chassis_L0, chassis_L1, chassis_L2 etc.). Let's say the extra parts you want to be attached to the boot are extra_5 and extra_6. So what you do is look for extra_5 and extra_6 (at least 2 meshes should be linked to those, one *_L0 and *_L1). So you grab (click and hold with the left mouse button) onto extra_5 and you drag it all the way to boot (boot_L0 and boot_L1 will be linked to that) and you drop (let go of the left mouse button) it when the boot is highlighted. I think everything else is self explanatory.

The problem is with the model. It's probably missing the L1. I'd suggest PMing the author about this bug, since he's the only one who can fix it.

That bug is called z-fighting, and it happens when 2 meshes are too close to each other and the game cannot decide which one to show, so it trys to show both of them, resulting in that. You can't fix that, only the author can.
