  1. No problem, now you can follow the progress that's being made on the car. :)
  2. There's a topic about that particular FPIU on this forum.
  3. Then the ENB is likely the culprit. I don't use it precisely because it makes surfaces far to reflective and it's likely that it affects chrome textures also.
  4. @Kilyin Is it always blueish or just when it's sunny outside? The chrome texture is highly reflective and sometimes takes the color of the sky. In your case though the effect is too strong, are you using an ENB? Also CV_interior is the texture for the low poly model, which you can't see by standing near the car. I thought the chrome texture material is something that's added with ZModeller and can't be changed by simply editing the textures. There is a texture called "chrome86effect" but changing that to black didn't make any different in-game.
  5. Which lights are you talking about? The LEDs on the lightbar? Because that's how they are supposed to look like, the LED bulb turns bright orange and emits a red light. I think it looks more realistic than it before. Can you post a screenshot/video of what you see, just to be sure both of us see the same thing. Is this what you see?
  6. So the file didn't work in x64e but it did in patchday3ng? I can't see any reason why it would do that but I'm glad you got it working.
  7. So how did you fix it?
  8. "police" files definitely should be in x64e, they won't work in any other vehicles.rpf. I'm not sure what's causing this but are you sure that you've replace all 4 "police" files, including the .ytd ones. Can you check again?
  9. I was under the impression that some car mods (eg. Desmond98's FPIU) already have dynamic license plates. I haven't really paid attention but I've seen different plate numbers on that car.
  10. No, yours are good also. I just wanted to remind him about them. :)
  11. Desmond, I've sent you some interior photos last week, use those as reference since they show the actual FPIU interior.
  12. Those manly hobbies! Nice interview, looking forward to the next one!
  13. Maybe before you were using the edited tailights texture that came with the LSPD skin shown in the screenshot? Have you replace that texture again after installing the new version of the car mod? Or you are talking about the slightly lighter red of the trunk lights?
  14. Not a movie but the tv show "Southland" is all about the LAPD. Although I might be the last person on Earth who didn't know about it until this summer. :D Definitely worth watching if you haven't seen it already.
  15. Can't wait to see them! You must really enjoy cruising in the FPI. :)
  16. At least in my country the police calls for an ambulance at the scene if they believe the suspect might have a mental condition or he's psychotic because of drug abuse. They will restrain him and take him directly to the hospital if the EMTs decide he's not faking it. Even if he is, he will be under supervision for 24h in a locked unit so he can't just walk out of the hospital.
  17. I can confirm it's the same template as in GTA 4.
  18. For the moment I'm sticking to the old update.rpf and RPH 0.25. All the plugins work perfectly right now so I'm not screwing that for some guns and car parts. I think we'll have to wait for LSPDFR 0.3 release for all the popular plugins to work with the latest RPH, as few plugin authors update their mods with each new RPH.
  19. Replace the "police" files in x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf.
  20. Hidden Heroes Reborn reference or just coincidence? :) Sorry for not having anything to contribute to the topic.
  21. Oh, one more thing. If you are going to showcase a new plugin, car mod etc, please know the name of the author. I've just watched two videos from two big time LSPDFR youtubers who couldn't even remember F5544's name 5 seconds into the video, which I find both embarrassing for them and insulting to the author. I mean it's the least they can do if they use other people's work to make money. P.S. Sorry for using your topic to vent, but I didn't want to point fingers and post on their youtube video since it would only cause a shitstorm and that's not the point.
  22. I enjoyed the first episode and now I'm subscriber 6.960. Only a couple of things I'd like to mention, don't apologize so much for being new to this, it gives people the wrong impression like the video is not worth watching and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of your subscribers probably didn't have a clue this mod existed (stereotyping much? :P). The second thing would be the video length, I really appreciate that you cut your videos to the important bits but make them a little longer (15-20min), but since this was an introduction video, it's fair to be a little bit shorter. The third thing (yeah "a couple" equals three apparently...), try to stick to a certain area(2-3 small neighborhoods) in each episode since patrol cars usually patrol their designated district (check out this map). What I like about the video: your voice tone :)), some youtubers get on my nerves with their cocky attitude or they mumble the words. And I like that you drive carefully, again some people smash their patrol cars into traffic and then have to repeatedly repair them while recording which looks bad. Get used with your fellow officers to go nuts from time to time and when you see a backup car approaching, get out of the way! You should probably list the mods you use in the video description so people can recommend you new mods to try. I've made a list of mods I use and that work well together, I still use 0.25 but they should work with newer RHP versions also. link If you have any trouble installing mods, feel free to message me. :)
  23. Have you tried the texture on the previous version (0.1.2)? The template was slightly modified in the first patch, the front bumper is placed inside the right side windows.
  24. R* will release a new DLC this month so keep an eye out for sales. Definitely a good investment, I've put 255h in the game so far and I find to places to explore and new things to do every day.
