Well hey buddy. I think we got off on the wrong foot. I'm sure that you can understand where I'm coming from (as you've also made an attempt at this mod). Tell you what, considering you did also take a crack at this, I'll go ahead and add you to the credits. I'd also like to (virtually) shake your hand and apologize for being quick to blow up, but it seemed to me someone was trying to downplay and accuse me with all of the hard effort put into this. I never have, and never will steal from others. I always give credit where credit is due. If ever you'd like to collaborate, or fix anything here, you're more than welcome. Well perhaps I'm being too harsh. But from my end... I worked hard to make this happen. Out of the blue (from my perception) someone claims I stole this, which is entirely untrue. I can confirm that I and Requies are the only two authors of this mod. For my "proof" you'd have to contact Jeff Favignano, PNWParks, Albo, Gallonman20, MikeGoldenGames, and anyone else that I sent my original files to. I literally started with about 5 files, and with the help of Requies, we turned it into hundreds after months of endless editing and testing.

@nauttdog I didn't stumble upon these. I worked my ass off to make it happen. Using YouTube clips from NFS Most Wanted chases, and Audacity, and many months of hard work slaving in front of a screen. I was then thankfully helped by Requies, to speed up the process. She still has the game files on her computer. So together, we chose the best audio possible, and used that. Then came the long hours of pitch adjustment. I'd appreciate if you didn't insult me with false accusations, and downplaying just how much this mod has taken out of both myself and Requies. I will NOT give you credit, for work you did NOT do. You never helped us, and your "work" was never used by us. I gave credit to ALL who were helpful along the way. Your name is not in there. The difference between you and I is... I do not require credit. I never asked for it, nor will I. I made this mod for the enjoyment of the community. Folks are more than welcome to use anything that I have. No credit needed. You on the other hand would rather claim that you personally own the rights to Audio made by EA. I'm sure EA's lawyers would love to tell you otherwise ha ha. Honestly kid, have a nice day.

Hmm... I'm not sure what could be causing that. I just checked the download myself, and all seems well. My only suggestion is to try again. @stevenchuh If you're asking when I'll update the Mod.... My answer is as soon as the new "Police Radio" Mod is released

Roger that. As far as how, initially I took the audio from YouTube videos of NFS Most Wanted (2005). But when Requies came into the picture, she had the audio from the game still on her Hard Drive. So she sent me those files, and we collaborated to make what is now B.D.A. When it comes to doing the mod in Dutch, I honestly don't know how, unless you can find audio off of a video perhaps, and in that case I'll gladly help you out. Grab some audio, shoot me a message and I'll assist

Yes, I personally use 7Zip. Though I hear WinRar also works.

That's one of the plugins doing that (I cannot remember which one) though I do remember exactly why I left it. That plugin uses the "We are Code 4" audio in several other areas, and muting the audio (as I did with some plugins) would cause long blank pauses. For the time being, I cannot fix this issue. But I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! Thanks for the feedback.

Awesome!!! I grew up in Houston. Just a few requests if you don't mind ( I know this can be annoying) 1: Conroe (where I live now, just north of Houston) Police and Montgomery County (the county I live in) versions. 2: Lore Friendly versions. Meaning, it looks like the legit version, but says Los Santos instead of Houston or Conroe, and Blaine County instead of Harris or Montgomery County. Great start buddy! I do hope to see some improvements here and there (jagged edges) but I'm no Vehicle Model Author myself, so I cannot properly direct those changes. Good luck man, and thanks for finally bringing this model to GTA.

@SgtGoetz Odd slight issue here, and may be on my end... When calling for Fire/EMS with BetterEMS, the truck normally shows up with the siren on, but no lights activated. Roughly 1 in 5 times, the lights are on and everything is great, but most of the time they respond with no lights. When calling 911 on the in-game phone however, they always respond with lights. So is there a setting that you know of that would resolve this issue? I've checked both the BetterEMS.ini and the FIRETRUK.xml but I'm not sure which is a good place to start. Should I force a Siren Pattern in the .xml? Any input would be appreciated. In any case, 10/10 Model on my end!!!

I personally swapped out the key in the PoliceRadio.ini to open it to be "NumPad5" and set the Controller option to "None". Conflicts with nothing on my end

I'm using an Xbox Controller. But good news is, ELS overrides the standard controls, so there's really no need for any Controller Unbinding mods.

I'm using a Controller. One issue I had was I didn't know the controls. You have to push Left on the DPad 3 times to get anything started up. From there, Down on the DPad will activate the siren, and B will change the tone. Up on the DPad activates dual sirens. If none of this is working, then you may still have a mod somewhere in your directory that unbinds Controllers from their default commands.

I'm also getting this odd crash. I don't know what's causing it. Occasionally when I get out, and then try to get back in (Press Y on Controller or F on Keyboard) the game crashes to Desktop. I'd really like to know what's causing this, and if I'm able to fix it on my end.

Yeah that was part of the issue lol. R.D.E. also cause a memory error for me apparently, so simply getting rid of that has done the trick. Thanks for the help buddy
