  1. Overall, your specs aren't the worst. You should try overclocking your GPU. You have a good Processor, and if you get a better Card, you should be able to run the game on higher settings.
  2. There are ISO mods for the console versions. Mostly ones that let you cheat; infinite health, rockets out of guns, taser, super car speed, super car handling, modified text, freeze cars (Lets you crash other players console's except your console). I had them, but I quickly got banned. If the OP is talking about mods like LCPDFR, then no.
  3. I think the Taurus is too small. Ford owned the police market, and by stoping the Crown Vic, and making the Taurus, they are just throwing away money. Do they really think Police will want to buy these under sized, under powered, ugly cars? I mean, why would they do that? They would of been better off giving the Vic a redesign and puting in the Mercury Maruader or Mustnag engine. For now, until ford brings back the Vic, Dodge and Chevy will share the Police market, with Ford being a small fraction of most fleets. @wmai20 You have a 2011 CVPI? How come the Department sold it so early? Not even a year of service?
  4. I was just watching this video, and it shows these Crown Victorias (in pretty good condition) at the dump. The Cash For Clunkers Program does not care about the quality of cars they're wasting. Well, I just wanted to share that with some of you Crown Victoria lovers. Good classic cars going to waste.
  5. Adding to what Tom said, press "L" for spotlight, and ALT + "M" to open the ELS Control Panel. Here you can change the Patterns of the lights. "U" to change Primary Pattern, "I" to change Secondary Pattern, and "O" for flashing spotlights. @Zander21210 Yes, you should place the ELS files in that folder.
  6. Sorry! That's a big one! I'm going to keep looking for you. You should try looking here: http://www.gta-downl...ers-and-planes/ Here is one: http://www.gta-downloads.com/en/gta4/helicopters-and-planes/12633-shamal-jet.html That's all I could find.
  7. Well, there is one simple way I know of. Turn Clip Capture OFF. This may give you a 10 fps boost, either more or less than 10. It all depends on your computer. You could also try command lines. Never mind, that wont do anything. That only forces your PC to go to higher settings, which you wouldn't want to do with your PC.
  8. @Harper I was going to ask the same thing, as I have seen some of those models before. I just didn't want to come down as rude. Seems like he gave credit, but that doesn't mean anything if he didn't get permission from the original authors. Still, I find this mod convenient. I like the LAPD Uniform too.
  9. Okay. I just blew my load. That's epic!
  10. Probably not. It has to do with the game AI, with GTA IV not being the best. I think the Ambulance drivers prove this.
  11. Have you tryed pressing ALT + T more than once? I can't get it out myself without doing that. But this may not be the answer to the issue you're having...
  12. No, there is no way. After you activte it, just press P again by itself to get rid of the blur.
  13. Oh crap. Sorry, the picture said Taurus... lol I never really would of known the difference, I'm not really good with cars!
  14. I like the 2013 one better. It looks a little more "Vic" like, but still very different than the Vic. The lights look a little more square to me. By the way, today I saw a brand new 2012 Dodge Charger Police version drive by, it looked pretty cool. By the way, here's an NYPD Fusion:
  15. Nothing will ever replace the Vics. I guess it's time to make room for the Taurus... I was just wondering, do you guys think Ford will bring back the Crown Victoria in 15-20 years? It would be awsome if they keep some of it's known looks, like the boxy body and headlights.
  16. Yeah, modify the Visual Settings in your TBoGT Folder (TBOGT/common/data/visualsettings), not the original GTA IV Settings since TBoGT uses its own settings and not GTA IV's. Also, use the timecyc from the Radiance mod. After doing that, your problem should be fixed.
  17. Not really possible. But no one has ever done it (that I know of). I know for a fact that it's possible to replace the Police siren on the Xbox version, as I have done it. That's all I think you can do to the emergency vehicles on the Xbox version.
  18. As always, there can be issues. As long as he/she has okay PC Specs, a compatible version of Windows, and a legit copy of GTA IV/EFLC, nothing should go wrong. Including all of the other things LCPDFR needs to run. But yeah, stay positive. A year ago I didn't have a clue about using GTA IV on PC or even having mods. Using open resources I managed to fix several issues. For example: Crahing every 10 minutes (Clip Capture OFF fixed it), mod not starting (upgraded Patch), and many more issues all solved from searching. So using the LCPDFR members for help and a search browser should help you find and fix issues. So hybrid3030, don't worry. You should be able to get it working if you have done everything correctly.
  19. That wont do anything. It's due to the LCPDFR Police Computer coming up when he trys to use the normal one. I had the same problem, to fix it: Just take the "scripts" folder out of your installation directory until you're done with that mission, then simply put it back in.
  20. I couldn't agree more. Amen. Keep up the good work guys.
  21. Awsome. I'm going to try this baby out.
  22. Modding is like learning math, once you do it enough, it's like nothing. First, post your PC Specs. Second, LCPDFR uses an auto installer, and will install the required files for you to play. You will also be able to choose some options in the installer, like choossing to install the taser, Hardcore mode, etc... Third, it is not hard to install ELS or vehicle mods. I would use ELS V5 or ELS V6. Some users have found V5 to be more stable. To install car mods, you will need to download a tool called Spark IV. There are quite a few versions, some are meant for GTA IV, some are for EFLC, and some are meant for both. Lastly, it is not hard to install car mods from this website, since you install them the same way as other car mods from other web sites. Spark IV: http://grandtheftaut...Spark_IV;116155 ELS V6: http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=196 By the way, this is in the wrong section... Should go in support...
  23. I never really noticed... sorry. But there have been many different names for it from many different people. I prefer to call it 1.0.2.0 since it is the second Pach for EFLC, and makes more sense than also having a 1 in it. That's just the way I am, and a bad habit.
  24. 1. Right click on the icon that says GTAIV in your game folder, click on properties, and then go over to details, and look for Game Version under the menu. If you're using EFLC, do the same thing but look for the icon that says EFLC. 2. Well, I would use 1.0.4.0 or 1.0.7.0. for GTA IV and 1.0.2.0 for EFLC. But LCPDFR only supports Patch 1.0.7.0 for GTA IV and Patch 1.0.2.0 for EFLC. Patch 1.0.7.0 for GTA IV: http://support.rocks...-0-5-2-japanese Patch 1.0.2.0 for EFLC: http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/479428-grand-theft-auto-episodes-from-liberty-city-title-update-1-1-2-0-patch-2
