Just as a heads up, I can't think of much that makes me grumpier than having to hide 24 nonsense posts after working without sleep on 0.4.
Lack of sleep I can deal with; people being idiots not so much.

THIS POST IS GREATLY OUTDATED! I WILL BE UPLOADING AN UPDATED VERSION SOON!

Ok, so "only a controller" is a slight exaggeration as there are a few things I couldn't include.
It's pretty simple how I do it. I use xpadder. What you're about to view below is for advanced users only. Few instructions, ton of files. I just wanted to share my hard work with everyone here
    -----
    Here is the xpadder profile:
    Xpadder: LSPDFR.xpadderprofile
    -----
This is absolutely necessary in order to use this xpadder profile properly. It gets rid of certain gamepad controls (You must download set #1)

    -----
If you have the below mods you NEED the following .ini(s)
    Custom Backup: CustomBackupLocations.ini
    Turn Signals: TurnSignals.ini
    Police Radio: PoliceRadio.ini
    Shield Mod: ShieldMod.ini
    Wilderness Callouts: Wilderness Callouts Config.ini
    Arrest Manager: Arrest Manager.ini
    LSPDFR+: LSPDFR+.ini
    Traffic Policer: Traffic Policer.ini
    EUP: settings.ini
    Bodyguards: advanced_bodyguards.ini
    Vehicle Clean: QuickFixOrClean.lua
    Auto Roadblock: Automatic Roadblocks.ini
    Spotlight: SpotlightConfig.ini
    Foot Pursuit Aid: FootPursuitAid.ini
    Agency Callouts: AgencyCallouts.ini
    Police Partner: PolicePartner.ini
    Search Warrant: SearchWarrant.ini

I WOULD RECOMMEND LOOKING THROUGH EACH .INI THROUGHLY, TESTING EACH MOD, AND PLAYING AROUND WITH THE XPADDER PROFILE BEFORE COMPLAINING
PS: Sometimes xpadder gets stuck. I made it so that if you press 'start' it resets xpadder

    I hope y'all enjoy

Just take the modded folders out of your GTA V folder and run the game using the regular PlayGTA.exe or whatever if you want to be safe. you'll be fine

MSI Afterburner would probably be affected if you used the On Screen Display.

New RPH has streamlined all that into their GUI. When you launch RagePluginHook.exe hold shift, and hold it until it tells you to release it... if you don't hold it long enough it will not work. This will bring up a settings menu where you can make sure "Enable Plugin Verification" is NOT checked, and then move to the "Plugins" tab and check every plugin you want to start automatically.
I pretty much do the above every time I launch RagePluginHook because very rarely it will randomly check Enable Plugin Verification again even though I've disabled it, and it literally only takes a few extra seconds to do this and make sure everything is in order.

Now that is something the community wants. Something that is site-wise only and not in game ranking would be great. the Crime Stats were a big part of LCPDFR so i don't see why it can't make a return with LSPDFR.

Well, that's the way how it worked in LCPDFR. When I found out about it, I never approached a call alone. I had always called for backup before I made myself on my way. That way, I could act as backup for units that were already there, or we all arrived at the same time engaging anything that's hostile. Then when someone fled, he got chased down by everyone.
I'd also love to see that in LSPDFR. One day... I'm sure we'll see it.

I'm not the type to repost something but
"Something I would love to see would be able to call backup to head to a specific/marked location. I'm gonna use the example of responding to a callout:
When you call for backup when on your way to a callout.. Well you really can't. From what I experienced, backup heads to the exact location that you called it from. Being able to call code 3 backup to a specific location would definitely help callouts and realism.
Sometimes when you respond to something like a bank robbery from a decent distance away, and you finally arrive.. to find no other units in the area around, you then have to try and secure/defend what you can until you're able to call someone in and wait for them to arrive. But really as youre arriving the other cruisers should be there arriving whatnot. (I know there are some plugins that actually call in backup automatically, but most don't)
Also, being able to call a backup unit (code 2 or whatnot) that arrives on the scene and stays for more than 10 seconds. Too often I find myself having just killed/arrested a suspect with a ton of units around, then they just all hop in their cruisers and leave before the guy has even knelt down. "
This would help tremendously, when playing as things like SWAT or responding to a callout some distance away, where there should usually already be units on scene as you're arriving.
Either way, I didn't think it was possible to be more excited for this version than 0.2 with all the things that were added! Thanks for the hard work!

Take out your mods folder and start the game.  Likely due to outdated .RPF files in the last version. If this doesn't fix it, try to start regular GTA V, and start singleplayer. Minimize the game once in SP, run the Ragehook.exe and maximize your GTA V. See if RAGE loads, otherwise:

    COMMON PROBLEMS I'VE SEEN LATELY:
People Trying to Reinstall LSPDFR 0.2b and not installing the NEW 0.26 Version of Ragehook OVER it (leading to crashes due to the outdated RPH that comes with 0.2b)
People not removing their MODS folder in the GTA V directory (depending on the mods you installed, the asi could be loading an outdated .RPH when GTA V needs the updated version of it)
Incorrectly Installed Files or missing files(Check your installation readme, as well as your RPH.log for any OBVIOUS errors
Outdated .net framework or similar(When RPH first launches, this should come back pretty much ALL green check boxes!)

People have reported incompatible/outdated Plugins(Run LSPDFR without any additional plugins/downloads to see if that fixes it, if so updated your plugins or narrow it down)

Ok try this, start GTA V and go into singleplayer. Minimize the game, run the Ragepluginhook.exe, and maximize the game. Wait for it to load into your game (or crash it)
See if it posts a ragehook.log, then post it here
EDIT: Also, try removing the - kopie(2) from your GTA V folder. (I doubt this would affect anything, but maybe it is affecting RPH is some weird way from pointing to the right directory?) Also since I assume you have at least 2 copies of GTA V in your Rockstar Games directory, check the original GTA V directory and see if maybe the log posted there. Otherwise I am unsure what your problem is. You ARE using a legal and updated copy of GTA V right?

Yes but right when you run the Ragepluginhook.exe, Maximize your GTA V and wait. It will either load into your game or crash it. Then it may create a log

Make sure you download the most recent version of RageHook at www.ragepluginhook.net and overwrite the files that came with LSPDFR 0.2B

Reinstall LSPD first response to the correct directory. You look like your missing files
EDIT: Make sure you reinstall the most recent Ragehook over LSPDFR that so you have the correct version.
