The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

LSPDfr isn't working or crashes (?) but GTA V doesn't

Featured Replies

Hello people I come from the Ragehook board. Here is my problem:
When I start RageHookPlugin.exe, GTA V is loading well. When I'm ingame I do not see any Police station and also can not press F4 for Ragehook Console. There is no RageHook Version displayed in the bottom right corner. I already reinstalled LSPDfr and Ragehook. I got a fresh installed GTA V. No Plugins or other mods just Ragehook and LSPDfr. I got no Ragehook log file. In the Ragehook board someone thought that if I can successfully start GTA V on RageHookPlugin.exe, LSPDfr will be the problem. I've already read all Guides, User Manuals and FAQ's. RagePluginHook is started with admin permission. I have the retail version of GTA V and these are my system specifications:

8 GB RAM
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.20 Ghz
AMD Radeon HD 6850

This is my GTA V folder:

Thanks for the help.

Hello there - Welcome, and thanks for trying out LSPDFR. We require all members to read the provided ReadMe and User Documentation before getting support. Please keep in mind that this is a beta version of LSPDFR - we cannot guarantee that all issues have been resolved.

You can find the user manual in your LSPDFR Download folder. If you still have questions after reading the User Documentation, review the LSPDFR FAQ; http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/51162-lspdfr-frequently-asked-questions/

Please do so now and return to this topic when this is done and do the following;

  • Give a clear, detailed description of the problem.
  • Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem.
  • State what solutions you have tried.
  • State which version of the game you're using (Steam or Retail)
  • Post the RagePluginHook.log in a spoiler tag.
  • Include as much information as possible.
  • Post your system specifications. You need to meet the required system specifications for the mod to work properly.
  • Post what other mods you are using.
  • Post a screenshot of your GTA V Game directory.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in topic closure.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

Take out your mods folder and start the game.  Likely due to outdated .RPF files in the last version. If this doesn't fix it, try to start regular GTA V, and start singleplayer. Minimize the game once in SP, run the Ragehook.exe and maximize your GTA V. See if RAGE loads, otherwise:

COMMON PROBLEMS I'VE SEEN LATELY:

People Trying to Reinstall LSPDFR 0.2b and not installing the NEW 0.26 Version of Ragehook OVER it (leading to crashes due to the outdated RPH that comes with 0.2b)

People not removing their MODS folder in the GTA V directory (depending on the mods you installed, the asi could be loading an outdated .RPH when GTA V needs the updated version of it)

Incorrectly Installed Files or missing files(Check your installation readme, as well as your RPH.log for any OBVIOUS errors

Outdated .net framework or similar(When RPH first launches, this should come back pretty much ALL green check boxes!)

ragehook_error.jpg.4ad9495584541b3fcc7d7

People have reported incompatible/outdated Plugins(Run LSPDFR without any additional plugins/downloads to see if that fixes it, if so updated your plugins or narrow it down)

Hey buddy, I understand that the standard solutions works for many people, but I already tried this and nothing works. :(

Already tried everything is installed correctly

People not removing their MODS folder in the GTA V directory (depending on the mods you installed, the asi could be loading an outdated .RPH when GTA V needs the updated version of it) Tried

Incorrectly Installed Files or missing files(Check your installation readme, as well as your RPH.log for any OBVIOUS errors Tried, no log available

everything is fresh and up to date

I have no additional plugins/downloads, only LSPDfr.

Ok try this, start GTA V and go into singleplayer. Minimize the game, run the Ragepluginhook.exe, and maximize the game. Wait for it to load into your game (or crash it)

See if it posts a ragehook.log, then post it here

EDIT: Also, try removing the - kopie(2) from your GTA V folder. (I doubt this would affect anything, but maybe it is affecting RPH is some weird way from pointing to the right directory?) Also since I assume you have at least 2 copies of GTA V in your Rockstar Games directory, check the original GTA V directory and see if maybe the log posted there. Otherwise I am unsure what your problem is. You ARE using a legal and updated copy of GTA V right?

Okay my english is not the best, so I try to explain with steps

1. I start playGTAV.exe

2. the game launches succesful and starts singleplayer

3. I minimize and start Ragehookplug.exe as admin

4. the Ragehook screen is popping up for 3-4 seconds

5. the Ragehook screen is away and there is no Ragehookplugin.exe in Task Manager

6. no log file created

Edit: I will try ur edit.

Yes but right when you run the Ragepluginhook.exe, Maximize your GTA V and wait. It will either load into your game or crash it. Then it may create a log
