  1. Carvariations.meta includes a sirensettings value which controls how siren light parts flash on the model, so that is indeed the reason there are no lights (and I assume the siren function in general). However, all sounds for the model are controlled by the audioNameHash line in the vehicles.meta entry. If nothing is specified, it will default to the name of the model itself, and since that is controlled somewhere else, that won't work for custom added models. What you have to do is add one of the original vehicle models as the name. So if you want the sounds from one of the Grangers for the Tahoe, you can use FBI2, Pranger, or Sheriff2 like so: <audioNameHash>FBI2</audioNameHash>.
  2. Any DLCs carvariations.meta file should do.
  3. Looks great, especially the system to disconnect sirens from vehicle sound sets, which is annoying if, say, you have a non-Buffalo or Granger vehicle you'd like to use the FBI siren with, and so forth. Doubtful that it's the purpose of this, but a mod that changes sounds like such, applies to both player and AI vehicles, and doesn't rely on LSPDFR would be great to have for general use.
  4. Possible. You can always try adding addition texture variations with higher variation numbers and see if they work in game, but the max number might be set in the model file itself.
  5. Add the new peds and vehicles to backup.xml (or to Custom Backup if you use it). Currently not possible to add them to the selection screens, though.
  6. Nevermind, I completely misread your post.
  7. Actually, it probably will. There's some ped model overhauls in the works that will change the vest from a task into an accessory and that should get around the issue even if it never gets fixed.
  8. If you don't want to dive into the large amount of additions RDE adds, you can use this mod (should still be compatible for the latest game version):
  9. Only if the car you're installing requires it normally, which would be the update.rpf vehicles.meta.
  10. SWAT dispatch can only use FBI2 or SHERIFF2 models. Other things that seem to be hardcoded when it comes to dispatch: all Police types spawn with only two peds EXCEPT for the FBI model, only the FIRETRUK model works for Fire dispatch. As for the 5Star script, running the older version of it, and RDE in general will probably lead to issues until the next release.
  11. I assume you are only replacing things in x64e? Many vehicles have been updated in patch DLC files, the patchday#ng folders, which makes those files load over previous archives. Best practice is to put all modded vehicles in to the latest patchday vehicles.rpf.
  12. Use Better EMS for anything related to fire or medical assistance.
  13. You also have to make sure the vehicles.meta entry has FLAG_HAS_LIVERY for the model, too.
  14. @l3ubba, please, remember there's no room in their mind for anything but their own biases. When you argue with a fool in front of an crowd, you aren't trying to change their minds, it's the audience you're worried about. Don't strain yourself.
  15. And yet I was still a more accurate representation than any of the pet causes BLM has taken on since it's inception. Also, you talk about society not caring? How about them not caring? DO YOU FUCKING EVEN PAY ATTENTION TO THE FACT THAT THE BLACK COMMUNITY MASSACRES ITSELF WITHOUT ANY NEED FOR OUTSIDE HELP? If they truly even cared about "Black Lives", they'd focus on something that kills FORTY TIMES more than cops do (at an almost infinitely higher rate of "unjustifiability"). Society-at-large isn't the problem. Selfish victim-hood, self-loathing guilt, or bottomless ignorance: I honestly cannot tell what your major malfunction is.
  16. Yes. Well, you should open your fucking eyes, because it's rampant. But you have an agenda to protect. Oops, what did I find?
  17. So if I put "Peace and Love rule! - Hitler", it's no problem supporting Hitler? It's like you think some BS quote of hers erases the fact that she's a convicted cop-killing terrorist fugitive who is beatified by BLM leaders (like all these other criminals BLM has taken on the cause of). And do me a favor: on a day when condemning violence against cops isn't in their best interest, go do the same. I have, constantly, and it's nothing but hatred.
  18. Respond to this: why is Assata Shakur, a convicted cop-killing terrorist fugitive, idolized by BLM?
  19. BLM is but a initially benign symptom of the hatred that has festered for decades. Tell me, what group has been the face of anti-cop sentiment for the last three years? What group has been beatifying violent criminals? What group has many supporters of it gleefully celebrating every time tragedy befalls an officer? What group has many supporters of it blatantly calling for violence against officers?
  20. That would require making a popgroup with more police cars in it, and then adding that group to each area in popcycle. The Back on the Beat mod is one thing to use for that.
  21. Right, but it's implemented in Custom Backup, which is what was being suggested.
