  1. The "root" folder is the main folder for GTA. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV if you have steam. it would look like this if you had it through the disk (I assume) C:\Program Files (x86)rockstar games\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV. It's the folder with all of the data. It will have the folders "common" and "pc" in it.
  2. http://www.lcpdfr.com/cops/forum/index.php/forum-20/announcement-5-need-support-read-this-first/
  3. And that's all trance is. But that youtube video you linked is.... stunning.
  4. You can change your downloads folder in your web browser. Set it to desktop or downloads. If you have GTA on Steam try to revalidate your files.
  5. I would imagine that the developers are working on a solution right now. A few people have mentioned it already. I think you might just have to wait a little bit until it's fixed. Doesn't work for me at the moment either.
  6. I'm not sure if loading it as an extra while editing the car would do it or not. I don't create or edit cars so im mot sure about that.
  7. Messing with physical objects like ligtbars would require editing a wft file. Also there can only be one version of a car per car file, like one can't have a lightbar and one not but be on the same car name, if you get what I mean.
  8. Firstly, why the F is it being saved to your AppData folder? Try changing the download location first. I assume that right clicking and selecting run as admin doesn't help?
  9. Please edit your posts rather than double posting (unless it has been longer than 4 minutes). Good luck finding a car. EDIT: And am I the only one on the forums at this time of day
  10. With the disappearing lights, you need to disable all cars that don't have ELS in the els.ini file in your root GTA folder. In order to generate a random "vehicle" the car mod itself needs to have multiple liveries built into its .wtd file and each livery would have to be different. This is usually the case. For an unmarked car just replace, using SparkIV, a livery with an all black one.
  11. Damn lightbars.... The website listed in the description doesn't really even exist anymore (if it ever did?). Chances of finding the car are slim now. There's another you could test here, it isn't the same one but it might be good enough. Like I said, the listed website is no longer around (just a blank IP.Board forum).
  12. I swear I just saw that somewhere... It must be hiding I think it's this.... http://www.gtapolicemods.com/index.php?/files/file/649-liberty-city-dodge-charger/
  13. Just delete your scripts folder (assuming you don't have any other mods in there). It's found under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV\scripts (if you have a 64 bit machine).
  14. By run as administrator I mean right click --> Run as admin. Sorry.
  15. if the bar is blank, no you did not. If it says 2% or 10% then yes. Try redownloading the installer and running it as an administrator.
  16. Please specify when you say "I now have it and it's not working."
  17. The white blip glitch has been detected by the testers, don't worry. In regards to 0.91, try to re-verify your GTA files (if you have Steam) and see if that fixes the problem. Report back with an update if it does or does not. If you don't have the game on Steam, try to either run the LCPDFR installer as an admin or reinstall.
  18. I do not believe there is a currently working link to the diagnostic log. Things got a little mixed up around here. Now, there are no random pursuits in V0.91 so can you elaborate a little, please? EDIT: And, please, in order to ensure that this thread stays open DO NOT mention 0.95.
  19. For a first try that is excellent. Good work Kinksta.
  20. If you care about the story line, go with gta iv. If you don't care as much and just want explosive effects, et cetera, go with EFLC.
  21. So since we're talking about trance, how many people here actually listen to it (not watch youtube videos for naked women)? I personally am into melodic death metal, not some weird trance stuff.
  22. Yes because it is in development.
  23. Ok you have a point :P
  24. If you can only get one, I recommend the original GTA IV.
