Reinstall the mod, right clicking the installer and running as admin. If this option is not available you are not an administrator and the mod will not work correctly. If you want to use multiplayer, reinstall and only select Dsound. It should work. If it does not, reinstall with Xlive only and REMOVE Dsound from gta root folder. Your savegames will be attempted to be located in your documents folder under Rockstar games after using Xlive. edit: If this doesn't work someone else may have to help because it is 1 AM here; I was doing a final look through to check for open questions et cetera since no moderators were online. Make sure you have scripthookdotnet advanced hook and scripthook for missing ones can cause this.

Dsound should work without problem. Xlive will REMOVE all multiplayer capabilities. EDIT: explain your crash in detail please.

So you go to...\program files\...\gta iv and right click the launcher and run as admin does not show up?

I confirm the twoninersix link to diag log does not work, I tried it once. I believe the other link Sniper gave also did not work for me. Try running the installer as an administrator as well as the game (right click hit run as admin)

You're not one to give up easy, are you? I have found no data file controlling it, I believe it is either somehow embedded into the map meta data or it is inside internal code.
