  1. Thanks guys, I get it now
  2. If I had the .ini file for ENB I would help more, that was just from memory. I removed ENB so someone else will have to help from here on.
  3. Anything in that weapon section should work. Baseball bat, pool cue, etc.
  4. Boris Vorontsov, the ENB dev, also suggests turning off ambient occlusion. Try that.
  5. .081 should. If not try .079. Remember that bloom render and ambient occlusion somtimes must be turned off. adit: A little quick I think to be posting the betasuppport box.... but whatever.
  6. For 0.91? I think if you press alt + h you can choose between arresting a ped or giving a citation. In 0.95, I am not sure if there is actually a way to do it. I haven't been able to find one.
  7. Meant to comment on this a few days ago, completely forgot. As far as I am aware, editing just textures isn't enough to remove dirt from a accumulating on a vehicle. I believe that the game, unless there is a specific dirt texture included inside of a vehicle texture file, will automatically give x amount of dirt over y period of time. There is a generic vehshare texture file, but this does not contain anything in terms of dirt accumulation. I suppose, it may be possible to place a dirt texture (such as chgr_dirt, found on a dodge charger texture file) and make it transparent. Not sure how the game would respond to this, though. @Storm Maybe if your texture file does have a dirt texture, You could try making it transparent? It might just end up making the vehicle transparent, though.
  8. I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement a physical parking ticket. It was my impression that people just wanted to have an option to give an "imaginary" so-to-speak ticket. Normally, only scripts and objects from inside GTA IV's code and files are used, rather than ones that have been created by outside third parties. They look good though, nice work.
  9. Try turning off bloom render in the config file.
  10. I've never been able to use SNT to choose a car livery, even though it is marked as enabled under vehicles.ide. I have not tried it with SNT V6.3 but I have with 6.2. edit: also note that if there was no other previous entry at the end of a data line, meaning there was just a dash, no NOT add "+" to the word livery.
  11. You don't have both dsound.dll and xlive.dll, do you? edit: and yeah, upgrade GTA IV to 1.0.7.0.
  12. Reinstall LCPD:FR, using only dsound.dll.
  13. Wait, that's not the correct way to do it?
  14. The edit button is your best friend Can you make a copy of the file, edit the copy, and then replace the original file (after backing it up ) with the copy?
  15. Try reinstalling your scripthookdotnet and advancedhook with originals. After I removed iCEnhancer one time, the water mark stayed and it kept crashing until I replaced my scripthooks. I don't know if that is coincidence or what but if some one else could comment on that I would also appreciate it.
  16. Read only wasn't selected for carcols.dat, or the entire EFLC folder?
  17. navigate to ...\EFLC\TBOGT\common\data and find carcols.dat. Open it with notepad or notepad++, whatever you have. Then change those lines to what Break specified. should it for some reason be read only, right click hit properties and deselect that option.
  18. Changing the color of the car does not affect the skin at all.
  19. And the thing is, while we're on this topic, Osama Bin Laden was quickly replaced by someone else. And that will keep happening every time we kill the leader of al Qaeda. They just find another, sometimes more ruthless, leader. It may have been very important, indeed, that he was disposed of (for lack of a better word?) but that is by no means the end of it. edit: and no, I am not trying to start something here. This is just what has happened.
  20. +1, 1adam3. And Break, for the post below me.
  21. Photoshop would work, but it is my impression that The GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) would be a heck of a lot more cost effective and still have mostly all of the same features, is this true or have I been subjected to lies my entire life?
  22. Not sure why there is "caution tape" on the top of a van but hey it does look cool
  23. The HD 6870 is still not even close to the top, although it is a decently spec'd card. But running a lower resolution on a game should only be done in drastic measures if you can hardly play the game at your native resolution. The size differences at a lower resolution make me, at least, want to claw my eyes out. The HD 6870 does had decent power management though, Like Unr3al said. source.
  24. Is it only when the camera is at a specific angle?
  25. Good find, I've been wondering about this.
