  1. Nothing to see here! This thread has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff, because it has been created in an incorrect forum section. We require that LCPDFR support requests are created in the LCPDFR Support Requests forum, so that users are presented with the troubleshooter. Please use that forum and follow the clearly presented instructions. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  2. Yes, it is. Almost every anti-virus detects the LCPDFR installer or diagnostics tool as a false positive.
  3. Hmm well I can't remember doing anything overly complicated - I seem to remember I arrested them and then just walked them to my heli. It's been a long time, as I mentioned, and I simply can't remember the specifics anymore. I'm hoping you do get it working though.
  4. Moderators aren't technical experts - they aren't here to be tech support people. While they're encouraged to help when able, they aren't trained to be technical experts and are in no way required to offer support (their normal duties are already incredibly time consuming).
  5. This sounds more like a support request, so please make sure to post in the correct location. Nothing to see here! 6. Happy New Year to you, too! Welcome to LCPDFR.
  7. Please post this in your own thread rather than using this person's thread (they're also entirely different issues from what I can see). Since this original thread has been answered, I'm closing. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. 8. Yeah I think I see what you're getting at. When I used to deliver them via helicopter, I would be flying it and they would get into the back of it (I use the Annihilator, they would sit where the rear NOoSE officers would normally sit). Granted, I haven't played for about a year, so this may not still be possible. However, when I last tried it, that's how it worked. Have you tried to do this before?
  9. Our site isn't here as an advertising service, please don't use it for clan ads. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  10. It is possible to deliver them yourself, I used to do that on Happiness Island a lot. Just hop into a helicopter and they should follow you, if you've chosen to take them in your own vehicle. However, if you're looking for an automated system, I don't think that's feasible. Helicopters are out of control enough as it is, trying to code in a method for landing a helicopter, transferring a suspect, and having it take off again (all without blowing up a city block) would be impossible.
  11. So apparently there were no parents with him and no employees tried to stop him from wrecking their store. Brilliant work everyone, simply brilliant.
  12. Divers are hoping to explore a large potential object found in the water, thought to be a part of the plane. The hunt for the black box is also underway. One of the leading ideas right now is that the pilot stalled the jet when climbing too quickly to escape a storm. However, there's no direct evidence yet since the black box has not been found yet. http://m.bbc.com/news/world-asia-30647375
  13. It's normal for anti-virus programs to have false positives with LCPDFR. They don't seem to like the automatic installer (exe files downloaded from the Internet are hated by A/V programs). As mentioned above, either disable your anti-virus or install the mod manually.
  14. This is a false positive from your anti-virus program. You'll either need to disable that temporarily or install LCPDFR manually.
  15. Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.

  18. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Discussion & Media. The Suggestions & Requests forum is only for requesting or suggesting mods that have not yet been created, and is not the place to look for existing mods.
  19. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests. You probably only need the latest Games for Windows Live client. The one that comes with GTA is what causes the game to not work properly on 8/8.1.
  20. As nice as Elitebooks are (I have a work issued one), they aren't meant for gaming. I would not in any way recommend using one for a game like GTA. They're designed for completely different purposes.
  21. Glad you solved your problem. In the future, please make sure to post any LCPDFR issues in the LCPDFR support forum. Edit: Looks like you edited and I posted at the same time. Please make a thread about your issues in the forum I've linked below. The troubleshooter should help you solve any issues you have. If not, there are also some pinned threads there that should help. 22. As others have mentioned, please don't post links like this. They don't help anyone, and have a bad habit of derailing entire threads (as we have just seen). On that note, would everyone please stop fighting over this? It isn't helping anyone. Regarding the topic at hand, we can't condone what you're offering. We can't stop you from creating packs containing other people's works and sharing them in private manners, but we won't allow these packs to be shared on the forum or via the download manager. If you want to provide some links to where the authors uploaded the vehicles, that's fine, but redistributing work without permission (even if credits are applied) is not permissible. I'm also moving this thread to GTA IV Discussion & Media, because the Vehicle Modifications Showroom forum is only for authors to share their WIP and/or released projects.
  23. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Support Requests. The Tutorials & Questions forum is for modders who require help with the creation of mods.
  24. While I have nothing against having a gold star or something on someone's profile if they donate (it doesn't provide extra features, permissions, rights, etc.), I am completely against members being able to pay their way into "better" groups. We pride ourselves on having the bare minimum for groups, and making sure people get treated the same. Allowing members to have extra rights or abilities simply because they can afford to pay us to have those abilities is not something we want. As it is, there are several aspects that we already aren't quite happy with. There are some legacy features on the site that are still lingering that give some members the ability to upload profile backgrounds, and staff members have access to a music-adding script. When it comes time for IPS 4.0 (the new version of our board software), those will more than likely go away.
