  1. Going to end this now before it gets more out of hand. The topic will remain here, if anyone is willing to help, they can message the OP. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  2. I sound like a broken record but yes, welcome back! I missed that hilarious signature gif
  3. You're likely thinking of the old MDC system we used to have on the site. The person who stared it has been away for quite some time and the project died out roughly a year ago, or somewhere in that range. There are a lot of other roleplay tools being created by other uses though, and I'm sure you might find some if you poke around the showrooms a bit.
  4. I believe the situation has been defused enough that it is safe for this thread to resume, but do remember to keep it civil.
  5. Cyan, you should have replaced all avatars on the site with birthday cakes and party hats. I am disappointed. happy birthday
  6. This thread was posted a full year ago, I'm not sure how it was found but it's long since dead. If the OP is still having issues he can make a new thread. There was no need to bump this topic. 7. In a continuation of our efforts to increase the effectiveness of the Community Team and moderation efforts, we have added MichaelV to the team. Michael has been around the site for almost three years now and has continuously contributed to the community throughout his time here. I am extremely confident that Michael will be an excellent addition to the team, and I hope everyone will join me in congratulating him and welcoming him to the team. Michael will be in training for a few days before being integrated slowly into forum moderation. He will be guided by myself and the rest of the Community Team during these next few weeks. Still on the topic of staffing, Illusionary has rejoined the team after a short break. As a key part of our team, we are very glad to have him back and we all look forward to many more months with him onboard. ineseri has temporarily stepped up to the role of Assistant Community Manager, my old role, as I am currently filling in for Sam in his absence. Sam is deeply involved with university work and will be away frequently for the next couple weeks. We're doing our best to ensure that the site is not in any way affected by his absence. Moving on to a more melancholy topic, we have also had both a retirement and role change within the team. Yard1 has retired from the team after joining a year and a half ago. He made many contributions to the team and we are sorry to see him go. We wish him the best in his future endeavors and hope to continue to see him around the site. NicolaiB has changed roles on the team, and is now a Community Team Advisor. NicolaiB has been around the site for many years and has been a driving force behind it for just as long. We hope to see him around for many more years to come as well, and look forward to his continued involvement with the team. JAM-Justin35 retired as a moderator a couple months ago and moved into an Advisor role. Justin has an extensive history with the site as well, and has been incredibly instrumental throughout his entire time here. Justin was always one to say things as they were and his frequent advice has helped to keep the entire Community Team on track many times. Pursuing his love of firefighting, Justin has found his passion and excelled at his new career. We wish him the best with everything and hope to see him around. To end the topic on a lighter note, I would just like to briefly mention that we are gearing up for the release of GTA V next month (barring more delays). In addition, we hope to begin upgrading the site to IPS version 4 in the coming months (this is the software our site is built on). This upgrade will modernize the site in many ways and we hope it will bring a breath of fresh air to the site, and the community as a whole. I won't go into detail but we have some neat plans for the site and I hope everyone is as excited we are about the future. Malediction.
  8. Nothing to see here! This thread has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff, because it has been created in an incorrect forum section. We require that LCPDFR support requests are created in the LCPDFR Support Requests forum, so that users are presented with the troubleshooter. Please use that forum and follow the clearly presented instructions. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  9. If I remember correctly, Charge Island or Colony Island may be suitable for meetings. They're somewhat isolated from the rest of the map and are quite frequently overlooked. I believe the beach in Westdyke might be somewhat less-populated as well.
  10. I've been watching Top Gear for years, and I must admit my heart sunk a bit when I read the headline recently that he had been definitively sacked. He, along with Hammond and May, made that show something worth anxiously waiting for each and every week. I can't blame the BBC for taking the action they did, but they nonetheless nailed the coffin shut. They're still going to try to remake the show in 2016, and I hope they succeed, but unfortunately it will be incredibly difficult to find anyone who can make the show as entertaining as Clarkson. Living in the US, I was entirely in the dark about motoring life in the UK and the rest of Europe. Their adventures and car reviewing have been incredibly eye-opening at the very least and really got me interesting in European vehicles. Although, I can also blame them for convincing me to save up for a new Audi and not some more "reasonable" vehicle.
  11. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests, as this is not a problem with the website. Please make sure to post in the proper forum in the future.
  12. If you don't want to use the mod, don't use it. Spewing bullshit all over this thread won't get you anywhere. Have a great day. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  13. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Development Tutorials and Questions.
  14. Hello everyone, The one month trial for the new approval system has ended. I haven't received any significant complaints from either my staff members or members of the community, and I dare say it has gone pretty well. I'd like to thank everyone who has been reporting files, as it has helped tremendously. While we have gotten a random "WTF is this" submission here and there (yes that is the official term for them) they have been very few and far between. I believe almost everyone will be glad to hear that we are keeping the new system. We may make minor tweaks to when the new member approval period ends (currently it's several days) but those changes won't be very significant. Again, thanks to everyone who has helped to report any invalid submissions and I do hope you continue to do so, as it brings them to our attention way quicker than we could see them ourselves. Malediction
  15. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Discussion. As others have mentioned, you should try searching on Google or the search bar up above.
  16. Your true level of VRAM on your graphics card is 512MB. It looks like Nvidia is also trying to group that in together with your regular RAM, and you should not use that figure as your level of graphics memory. Your graphics card has 512MB onboard, and you should really have at least 1GB according to the current system requirements posted on Steam.
  17. I was originally here because I enjoyed the mod and helping beta test. Apparently I help manage the place now?
  18. MODERATOR NOTICE The point of this thread is to debate one specific topic: "net neutrality" and what these rules mean for ISPs and the Internet as a whole, and whether you agree or disagree with that. This topic is NOT here for debating general liberalism vs conservatism vs communism, nor does it exist to bash one side or the other. I've cleaned the thread up and removed all off topic discussions. If you want to debate about how good or bad the president is or how many "commies" are in Congress, don't do it in this thread.
  19. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV development tutorials and questions. The LCPDFR Development forum is for API scripting.
  20. Oh god, not this. Officially this is a black and blue dress according to the seller (and their video of it), but due to the exposure of the photo it can appear as either depending on who views it. I suspect monitor settings may play a part in it as well.
  21. Don't hijack threads, please. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  22. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Discussion & Media. The General & Miscellaneous Discussion section is a general purpose forum for all forms of miscellaneous discussion not catered for by any subject-specific forum.
  23. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to the GTA IV Support Requests forum, as it is not an LCPDFR support request.

  25. Alright that's enough. This isn't even a debate anymore, it's a giant conglomerate of "I hate group X because I am group Y". There is no debate for the sake of having a fun debate, there is fighting for the sake of provocation and attacking those with different views. The only thing to come from this is more anger.
